About the Programme:

This workshop introduces the not-so-visible methodology of patent trajectory mining that
involves analyzing competitive technology patents. This will enable Indian SMEs to understand
what technologies are developing and to concentrate on the convergence and divergence of all
these technologies. The program will also help the participants to build a strong technology
strategy based on its potential, not only on its life cycle. This will create new possibilities for
new ventures to adopt a technology as a product/offering, not a tool or medium that opens the
door for creating more economies of scale for new experiences crucial for their sustainability in
the long run.

Programme Objective:
1. To assist the MSMEs while extending their knowledge about the affordable
technologies helpful for their daily operations and expansion.
2. To assist the startups while adopting the competitive but right fit technology unknown
to the business ecosystem which can be utilized for new product development and
service fabrication.
3. To predict the technology orientation in future to make a blueprint for technology
investment for many small and declining businesses.
Dates:
February 25-26, 2022

Target audience:
The program is purposely designed to accommodate small and medium industry owners,
executives, and managers operating in India and address their dilemmas related to the acquisition
of competitive technology in leather industry. It will also be valuable for UG/PG students
planning to initiate their entrepreneurial ventures. Further, It will be a significantly different
experience for the research scholars, too, as we are considering fundamental live patents and
their convergence while understanding the course of competitive technology for the next half-
decade.

Pedagogical approach:
The program will include sessions from subject matter experts from the respective domains as
they will facilitate the learning with their content of knowledge.
