Accomplishment Report in School Disaster Readiness and Risk Reduction Management for SY 2021-2023
A. INTRODUCTION
In accordance with DepEd Order No. 21 and Republic Act No. 101021, re: Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, s. Disaster Risk Reduction and the Year 2015.All schools are instructed to organize or reconstitute their School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Committee in order to lead the conduct of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation.Programs, projects, and activities in their individual schools that are related to (DRR/CCA)
The SDRRM Team must adhere to the DepEd's DRRM Framework, which includes the four DRRM Thematic Areas of Prevention and Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Rehabilitation (DepEd Order 37, s. 2015). For information and direction, please refer to the Information Management Protocol and the proposed Roles and Functions of the School DRRM Team Composition that are included. (As stated by Mark Anthony Llego in TeacherPh).
Being the designated School disaster risk reduction and Manangement focal person and Coordinator, it is my responsibility to carry out with the promise of successful and productive results.the plans listed in my action plan, and to adhere to the rules, obligations and duties of a School DRRM Coordinator.
With such obligation and accountability, it is only appropriate and proper to
be able to practice and internalize the risk reduction measure in order to finally develop the habit of being ready before, during, and after a disaster, be it a natural disaster or a human-induced threat. With this, it is said that a narrative report would be kept up to date on how Disaster Risk Reduction is progressing at Anuling Integrated School.
