1.0 INTRODUCTION

A request was received from SARAWAK SHELL BERHAD to perform Phase Array Ultrasonic
Testing (PAUT) utilizing sectorial scanning for weldment on V-370 (K3B & K5B), RIA are using
Phascan Doppler equipment.

The inspection was conducted on 19th September 2022 - 07th October 2022

4.0 Conclusion and Summary

PAUT Inspection was done on joint V-370 (K3B & K5B), from the data analysis there are found
rounded indication by PAUT inspection for joint K3B and no significant defect (NSD) for joint
K5B, K3B CO and K5B CO during the inspection execution. Recommended to monitor and
screening the scanning nozzle in the next inspection window.
