HOW TO ACTIVATE A UFC CODEMETERACT

LICENSE

SevenCs delivers its ENC data production software with the licensing technology
CodeMeter on a hardware dongle or as a completely software-based variant
called CodeMeterAct. That means no additional CodeMeter hardware is needed.

A CodeMeterAct license is bound to the hardware of the used PC, so keep in mind
to activate the license exactly on the PC which you want to use for your software!

SevenCs will provide you an empty CodeMeterAct license container (SevenCs-


CmAct.WibuCmLIF).
You’ll find the file in the same folder as this guide.

Just drag the file via "drag and drop" into the CodeMeter Control Center:

The CodeMeter Control Center shows now an empty license container.

To request your evaluation license, click the button “License Update” and follow the
CmFAS Assistant:

Click Next:

Click Next:

Don’t change the file name, it’s your individual license number.
Click Next.

Open SevenCs Webdepot with your Internet browser (Mozilla Firefox not yet fully
functional, please use Google Chrome instead).

Select your preferred language and enter your ticket you received from SevenCs in
the field:

Your licenses are listed:

Select “Offline license transfer” and upload your license request file:

Click “Upload Request And Continue Now”.


Wait for the transfer to be completed.

Click “Download License Update File Now” to get your activation file *.WibuCmRaU.

Simply drag & drop this file into your CodeMeter Control Center.
The status will change to: License activated:

We kindly ask you to create a receipt and upload it into the Webdepot so that we
know that you successfully activated your license.
To do so click “License Update” -> Next and select “Create receipt”:

Click Next and save the file (you can overwrite your existing WibuCmRaC file).

In Webdepot you might have to enter your ticket number again.

Click on “Continue License Transfer”:

Select Offline license transfer:

Select your WibuCmRaC file and click “Upload Receipt Now”.

Your License Transfer is successfully completed.
