DJGO 2023

Team Test Paper

Discord Junior Geometry Olympiad

Prepared by the 2023 DJGO management team

*Participants are given 1 EXTRA hour for work submission*

00:01,10th - 23:59,11th December 2023 (GMT+9)

Discord Junior Geometry Olympiad 2

Day 1

Problem 1: Let DJGO be a square with an arbitrary point X lying on segment DJ and
W being the center of the square. Line XW intersects the circumcircle of △W OG again at
point Y. Prove that: ̸ DY J + ̸ OXG = 90◦ .

Problem 2: Let △ABC be an acute triangle with circumcenter O. Points P, Q lie on lines
OB, OC respectively such that A, P, O, Q lie on a circle. M, N are the midpoints of segments
AB, AC. Let the circumcircle of △P OM , △QON intersect again at Z. Prove that: OZ, BC
are parallel.

Problem 3: Let △ABC be an acute triangle with N, P being the midpoint of arc BC
not containing A and the arc BC containing A of the circumcircle of △ABC respectively.
The external bisector of ̸ BAC intersects BC at point S. Construct the point N ′ to be the
reflection of point N over BC.D is an arbitrary point lying on segment BC. E is a point
lying on line BC and satisfying (BC, DE) = −1. Line AE intersects the circumcircle of
△ABC again at Z. Line P Z and BC intersects at K. Line P D intersects the circumcircle
of △ABC again at R. The circumcircle of △P DK intersects the circumcircle of △P RN ′
again at L. Prove that: Lines LS and LP are perpendicular.

Day 2

Problem 4: Given two positive real constants m, n.Let ℓ1 , ℓ2 be two fixed perpendicular
rays with common endpoint A. Variable points B and C lies on ℓ1 and ℓ2 respectively such
that AB · AC = n · AB + m · AC and AB ̸= m, AC ̸= n.Prove that: BC passes through a
fixed point.

Problem 5: Let △ABC be a triangle with altitudes BE, CF intersects at H.The circum-
circle of △BHC intersects the circle with diameter AH again at point K. The circle with
diameter AK intersects the circumcircle of △ABC at W and suppose it intersects EF at
two distinct points X, Y .Prove that: W XKY is a harmonic quadrilateral.

Problem 6: Let ABCD be a convex quadrilateral. Suppose there exists a circle Ω with
center I, lying inside ABCD such that AB, BC, CD, DA are tangent to Ω at X, Y, Z, T
respectively. Let N, P be the midpoints of segments DC, DA.Let DX, AZ intersects at K
and DY, CT intersects at L. KP intersects XZ at point U and LN intersects Y T at point V.
Suppose the circumcircle of △DAC is internally tangent to Ω.Prove that: Points X, U, V, Y
lie on a circle.
