PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. CUTTING MAY BE REQUIRED.
2. From under the front of the vehicle, remove the passenger and driver side rubber splash guards on the
outer ends of the lower opening in the bumper to access the bottom of the crossmember, (Figure 1).
IMPORTANT: Depending on model and year, the lower opening may also be filled with a plastic grille.
It will be necessary to cut off and remove the ends of the plastic grille if the opening is filled, (Figure 2),
to access the crossmember.
3. Locate the factory holes in the bottom of the crossmember though the opening in the bumper, (Figures
1 & 4). NOTE: Remove factory tow hooks if equipped, (Figure 3). Tow hooks will not be reinstalled.
4. Insert the passenger side 12mm Double Nut Plate through the large hole with the flat side down against
the crossmember, (Figures 4 & 5). Line up the offset welded hex nuts on the Nut Plate with the existing
holes, (Figure 6).
5. Reinstall rubber splash guard if equipped.
6. Select the passenger side Mounting Bracket, (Figure 5). Line up the plate on the Bracket with the holes
in the crossmember and the Nut Plate. Hang the Bracket from the Nut Plate with (2) 12mm x 35mm
Hex Bolts, (2) 12mm Lock Washers and (2) 12mm Flat Washers, (Figure 7). Snug but do not fully
tighten hardware at this time.
7. Repeat Steps 3 - 6 for driver side Mounting Bracket installation.
8. Carefully unwrap and position the Sport Bar onto the outside of the Mounting Brackets. Bolt the Sport
Bar to the Mounting Brackets with (4) 12mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (8) 12mm Flat Washers and (4) 12mm
Nylon Lock Nuts, (Figure 7). Do not tighten hardware.
9. Level and adjust the Sport Bar as desired and tighten all hardware at this time.
10. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer
over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild soap may be
used also to clean the Sport Bar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sport Bar.
