INTRODUCTION

The didactic guidelines presented below are intended to provide the

Robotics instructor of the Advanced Curricular Program with a
resource that allows him to carry out his planning, considering the
topics developed by the program.

What is intended with this subject is that the student appropriates the
principles and foundations that have made robotics a way of creating
and innovating technology, viewing the student not only as a consumer
of technology but rather as a producer of the same; in such a way that
it recognizes the functioning of the things that have been created, and
also allows it to practically develop its motor and cognitive skills,
consequently stimulating interest in the scientific-technological field.

The subject of robotics allows the development of collaborative work,

increasing socialization skills, likewise mobilizing knowledge when
handling concrete material, always based on the framework of values,
appropriating basic concepts, increasing creative capacity, It sharpens
the observation of the environment, which makes it possible to
sensitize them to the needs that surround them, as well as to design
and make their own models, using reused and/or recyclable material,
promoting attitudes of care for the environment.

Learning robotics is not only knowing and/or recognizing how all types
of robots are made, it is analyzing everything that has led scientists
and technologists to create what we commonly use and that

2| Page
Didactic Guidelines
Sometimes we do not realize that they are part of models used by robotics.

Robotics is defined as the science and technology of robots and deals with
design, manufacturing and application, and combines it with:
 Mechanics: technique of inventing, building, fixing or operating
machines.
 Electronics: action of electromagnetic forces, and its usefulness
in devices that receive and transmit information, a technique that
applies this knowledge to industry .
 Programming/computer science: giving instructions to a machine
to perform its function automatically .
