PASTORAL EVALUATION FORM - 2022

INTRODUCTION

INDICATIONS.
 Gather in an atmosphere of prayer-celebration to evaluate the pastoral work of the year.
 It is then evaluated by areas with their respective form; That is, each advisor evaluates with the
members of his area (Catechesis, Animation, Social Pastoral, Youth, Liturgy and others.)
 We know that what is evaluated is what is programmed, therefore, it is important to have the
pastoral programming of the parish for the year 2022 at hand. In the same way, have the Parish
Goal. (copy for each one).
 We ask to write down everything discussed. This is an input for the 2023 parish programming.

“LORD, SEND WORKERS TO YOUR PEOPLE”

SEE: Our reality
After two years, we have begun our pastoral work with hope. We want to emphasize the
importance of the participation of the laity in our diocese, which is why with the motto
“Witnesses of Christ at the service of communion and mission” we are reflecting on lay
ministries, understood as ferment of the Kingdom of God in the world.
OUR OBJETIVE
We begin this pastoral year with the objective of reconvening and reorganizing the parish
and zonal teams in order to form the community for these current times. Therefore, it is
important to take a break from our work to evaluate, enjoy and celebrate everything
experienced in this pastoral year.
Let us sing joyfully and gratefully for the steps we have taken this year towards the
diocesan ideal, God's ideal.
Today, Lord we thank you N°255 CNF
Let us invoke the presence of the Holy Spirit so that He may guide our meeting.
We stand before you, Holy Spirit, gathered in your name. You who are our true advisor:
come to us, support us, enter our hearts. Show us the way, show us how to reach the goal.
It prevents us from losing our way as weak and sinful people. Do not allow ignorance to
lead us down false paths. Grant us the gift of discernment, so that we do not let our actions
be guided by prejudices and false considerations. Lead us to unity in you, so that we do not
stray from the path of truth and justice, but in our earthly pilgrimage we strive to achieve
eternal life. We ask this of you, who works in all times and places, in communion with the
Father and the Son forever and ever. Amen.

“WITNESSES OF CHRIST AT THE SERVICE OF COMMUNION AND

MISSION”
This stage of the diocesan pastoral journey is guided by two biblical texts: the supportive
friends of the paralytic (Mark 2:1-12) and the miracle of organized solidarity (Mark 6:34-
44).
During the inter-area visit we were able to reflect in light of the first biblical text and we
admired the creativity of the friends and how they overcame the obstacles that were
presented to them, but all of this was not an impediment to bringing their friend closer to
Jesus.
This pastoral evaluation will be illuminated by the text of Mc.6, we want to pray and reflect
in the light of the Gospel.

JUDGE:
Biblical Illumination MARK 6,34-44
34 When Jesus disembarked, he saw all those people, and he felt compassion for them,
because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And he began to teach them at length.
35 It had gotten late. The disciples approached him and said: “We are in a deserted
place and it is already late; 36 send the people away so that they can go to the nearest
villages and towns and buy something to eat.”
37 Jesus answered them, “Give them something to eat.” They said, “And do you want us to
go and buy two hundred denarii of bread to give to you?” 38 Jesus said to them, “How
many loaves do you have? “Go see.” They returned and said to him, “There are five, and
there are also two fish.”
39 Then he told them to make the people sit in groups on the green grass. 40 They
arranged themselves in groups of one hundred and fifty. 41 Jesus took the five loaves and
the two fish, raised his eyes to heaven, pronounced the blessing, broke the loaves and gave
them to the disciples so that they could serve them to the people. He also distributed the
two fish among everyone.
42 They all ate until they were satisfied; 43 Twelve baskets were even filled with the pieces
of bread, not counting what was left over from the fish. 44 Those who had eaten were
about five thousand men.
Lord's word.

Let's meditate on the text in silence for a moment.

(After a brief personal reflection in silence, we propose to proclaim the Gospel again, this
time in a slow manner and with the indication that they are introduced into the text and if
they wish they can identify with a character).
Let's talk:
 Which character do we identify with? Because?
3

“WITNESSES OF CHRIST AT THE SERVICE OF COMMUNION AND

MISSION”
 How is Jesus' team (his apostles) similar to our parish team?
(Write down the answers)
We invite you to carry out a prayerful reflection and dialogue with the text.
34 When Jesus disembarked, he saw all those people, and he felt compassion for them,
because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And he began to teach them at length.
 What is the context of the reading?
 In what moments or situations are the families of our parish like sheep without a
shepherd?
 What signs (looks) of mercy do we have towards them?
35 It had gotten late. The disciples approached him and said: “We are in a deserted place
and it is already late; 36 send the people away so that they can go to the nearest villages
and towns and buy something to eat.”
It was already late, there were no stores nearby, there was no market and much less
delivery. The first reaction of the disciples was to “dismiss the people.”
 At what times have we chosen to “fire people”? Because?
For the times when we have chosen to “not buy into the problem” and fire people. Let's
ask for forgiveness.
We sing: Forgiveness, Lord, forgiveness N°35 CNF.
Jesus speaks imperatively, it is not a suggestion, it is a command "Give them something to
eat", this confuses the apostles, it challenges them, it takes them out of their comfort zone,
their comfort.
 This year, when has Jesus challenged us?
 What are the “fishes and loaves” that we have in our parish team to share in the
community?
We sing: Five loaves N°142 CNF
39 Then he told them to make the people sit in groups on the green grass. 40 They
arranged themselves in groups of one hundred and fifty.
Jesus invites closeness, to form bonds of friendship and brotherhood, to look at each
other's faces. Sitting in groups (circle) helps interaction, entering into the life of the other,
leaving the self to form the community, the Church Communion.
 How have we organized our zonal communities?
 What are the green pastures that we have offered you in this pastoral year?
4

“WITNESSES OF CHRIST AT THE SERVICE OF COMMUNION AND

MISSION”
 Share the experience of reorganizing an ECZ.
We sing: The Good Shepherd N°567 CNF (stanza 4).

41 Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish, raised his eyes to heaven, pronounced the
blessing, broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples so that they could serve them to
the people. Likewise, he distributed the two fish among everyone.
Jesus takes the loaves and fish and puts them in the hands of the Father. All the work is
God's, it is not ours.
 What moments have we dedicated to praying to the Lord to send more workers to
his people? How was the experience?
 What prayer spaces have we promoted with the ECZ and families?
 Jesus does not do everything alone, he promotes the participation of his disciples.
How have we promoted the emergence of new lay ministries?
We sing: Spirit of God N°504 CNF
42 They all ate until they were satisfied; 43 Twelve baskets were even filled with the pieces
of bread, not counting what was left over from the fish. 44 Those who had eaten were
about five thousand men.
 In what way have the actions of the Parish Pastoral reached everyone?
We sing: Never say no to Christ N°569 CNF.
It is important to be grateful to the owner of the harvest for having sent workers to his
harvest, let's say together: “Thank you, Lord, for sending collaborators to your harvest.”
 Thank you, Lord, for the parish teams that are called to bring your missionary
mandate to life. All: “Thank you, Lord, for sending collaborators to your harvest.”
 Thank you, Lord, for those who offer their gifts and talents in the zonal coordination
teams and in this way collaborate in the building of the Communion Church. All:
“Thank you, Lord, for sending collaborators to your harvest.”
 Thank you, Lord, for the young people who have been involved in your work and
now participate in parish teams, pastoral areas and zonal coordination teams. All :
“Thank you, Lord, for sending collaborators to your harvest.”
 Thank you, Lord, because social pastoral care has been promoted in our diocese
with the aim of going to meet your favorites. All: “Thank you, Lord, for sending
collaborators to your harvest.”
 Thank you, Lord, for our bishop and his priests who, in the image of the Good
Shepherd, have known how to support your people and have valued lay ministries
more. All : “Thank you, Lord, for sending collaborators to your harvest.”
 Thank you, Lord, for our families, because they have been true domestic churches
where faith, prayer, charity and mission are lived. All : “Thank you, Lord, for
sending collaborators to your harvest.”
