INTRODUCTION
The contamination of water and soil, due to the disposal of solid and liquid waste,
such as edible oil, is a major environmental problem due to the effects it generates
on our health and because it is an effect that contributes to global warming.
Used cooking oil is one of the most serious factors of water pollution, making it
difficult for oxygen to pass through.
One liter of oil contaminates up to a thousand liters of water, which represents the
amount of water a person drinks per year.
