(SKMCH&RC) is a state-of-the-art cancer center located in
Lahore,Pakistan. It is a project of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial
Trust,which is a charitable Organization Established under the
Societies Registration ACT XXI of 1860 of Pakistan.

Vision:
“Our vision is to be the premier institution for
the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the region
irrespective of the ability of the patient to pay and to be the
leading center for research into the causes and treatment of
cancer in our region.”

Mission:
“To act as a model institution to alleviate the
suffering of patients with cancer through the application of
modern methods of curative and palliative therapy
irrespective of their ability to pay, the education of health
care professionals and the public and perform research into
the causes and treatment of cancer.”

hospital has won several awards and recognitions for its

Weakness Of Shaukat Khanum Hospital

While the hospital provides free or subsidized

treatment for those who do not qualify for subsidized care
can be high. This can be a barrier to access for some
patients.
Limited Reach:
Shaukat Khanum Hospital has only two
banches, one in Lahore and the other in Peshawar. This
limits the reach of the country, who may have to travel long
distances to receive treatment.
Limited Capacity:
The hospital has a limited capacity to treat
patients, which can lead to long waiting times for
appointments and treatments. This can be a problem for
patients who need urgrent care.

Limited Range Of Services:


While the hospital provides world
–class cancer care services,it has a limited range of services
compared to other leading healthcare organizations.For
example, it does not provide specialized services in areas
such as cardiology or neurology.
