Injector Test Bench
Injector Test Bench
DESCRIPTION:
It contains an instrument case where there are seals and equipment for the different types of
injectors. Tighten the injector to the rail with a small pressure so that it does not leak and
place it in its position. The pulse generator is inside and its table where there are different
options for analysis, there is a fuel level meter, it can be used gasoline or injector cleaner. All
equipment has its power supply of 220 AC.
injector tests
diagnostic test(uniformity):
leak test.
flow test:
We see the injection flow rate over time, without a pulse generator to the injectors. Check
that the fuel in the test tubes is in line.
Automatic test: performs all the tests mentioned above in a timed manner, the tests will take
their time for each of the tests.
Fill the injector vat up to a limit established in the injector housing (injector cleaner or Ola
Bristar).
place the injectors in their housing along with the cables for the pulse generator, turn on the
injector vat and also the test bench, select in ultra sound tests, set the injection time in the
vat and wait for the end of the selected tub time. The test bench takes a while to send the
pulse but first opens the injector and after a moment sends the pulse to the injectors.
Finishing the cleaning in the tub, dry the injectors, being careful not to dirty them again.
note: re-perform the same tests mentioned above or in automatic mode to verify if the
ultrasonic cleaning had its effect on the injectors. If you do not notice favorable
changes, soak the injectors and return to ultrasound and if you still do not notice
favorable changes, change the injectors.
