1. GOALS
• Recognize the main file management commands in the command prompt
• Correctly configure resource sharing in Windows 10.
• Review theoretical material shared on Canvas such as: Slides, official course text and links of
interest.
3. PROCESS DESCRIPTION
You'll learn about the two methods of organizing and managing Windows computers on a network,
domain and workgroup, and how to share local computer resources such as files, folders, and
printers on the network. You will also learn how to set up a wired network connection in Windows.
You will learn how the six steps of the troubleshooting process apply to Windows operating
systems.

in Windows Electricity ELECTRICAL RISK Use of surge suppressors
Introduction
In this part, you will configure your Windows computer for sharing. For this we must have two virtual machines,
these machines must have the following name
• SHS-Win10XYZ
• SHS02-Win10XYZ
IMPORTANT: Throughout this laboratory you will have to modify the names of the virtual machines as follows:
• SHS-Win10XYZ = Computer01XYZ
• SHS02-Win10XYZ = Computer02XYZ
c. In each virtual machine, a user named Client01XYZ of type Administrator will be created. The password for
this user will be ARCTecsup2.
Deliverable N°16: Capture the screen showing the users of each virtual team
