    Application
    Used as installations cable in local networks, especially for fixed indoor installations in fire protected areas.
    Not admissible as power installation cable and not allowed for laying in ground.

    Colour Coding, Marking


    Quad: Marking of cores of star quads with black rings according to DIN VDE 0815.
    Basic unit: 5 main colours of star quad: red, green, grey, yellow, white. Marking units of basic and main units are
    marked with a red open helix, all others have a white helix.

    Conductor copper, solid, 0.6 or 0.8 mm, soft annealed
    Insulation halogen-free, flame-retardant compound (H), ring marking of cores according to DIN VDE 0815
    Twisting quads in unit-stranding (SZ-stranding)
    Cable core wrapping at least one layer of plastic tape
    Screen electrostatic screen; tinned copper drain wire of diameter 0.6 or 0.8 mm galvanically connected
    with the laminated aluminium/PETP tape
    Outer sheath halogen-free, flame-retardant compound (H), grey
    nx2x0.8 also suitable as fire alarm cable with red outer sheath and printing
    “BRANDMELDEKABEL”.
