Computer applications are tools created for users to perform specific tasks. There are different types such as industrial, general use, local and network applications. Applications differ from systems in that applications help the user complete tasks while systems manage the interaction between the user and the computer. Some examples of applications are accounting, medical, military and educational.

SUMMARY OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
SURNAMES AND NAMES: ALVAREZ VALDIVIA, TATIANA VANIA
Computer applications are a type of computer project created as a tool to allow a user to perform one or more types of work. CHARACTERISTICS Computer applications > This usually results in a computer solution for the automation of specific, but somewhat difficult, tasks. > Some advanced applications often promise greater power because they are exclusively designed to solve a specific problem. > Others, called integrated software packages, provide less power but instead contain various applications, such as a word processing, spreadsheet, and database program. Currently, with the automation of mobile devices, the term app has been developed, a computer application for mobile devices or tablets with an agglomeration of functionalities. From games to applications to perform common tasks. DIFFERENT TYPES OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS 1) Industrial or business software: software designed primarily for use in industrial sectors in a very specific market. 2) General Purpose Software: Software used by a wide range of organizations and home users with different intentions. 3) Local applications : Program specially stored on the hard drive (Hard Drive) of a computer, as we can see this application can basically only be run on that computer where it is stored. 4) Network Application: It is primarily designed to run over a network. It has two base components. One running remotely and another running locally. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMPUTER APPLICATION PROGRAMS AND SYSTEMS The difference between application programs and system programs is that system programs propose reinforcement to the user to establish certain relationships with the computer, while many application programs are programs that help the user to execute the named activities. Application programmers, unlike system programmers, do not need to have a thorough understanding of the internal mode of activity of the hardware. Programs must be completely independent of specific hardware. COMPUTER APPLICATION SOFTWARE Computer application software is software that can make the computer help the user to carry out typical common tasks, such as processing accounting or writing a text. INDUSTRIAL COMPUTER APPLICATIONS These can occupy a very significant place in manufacturing methods. In the industry to inspect tasks where precision and speed of response is very essential. To inspect robots that execute automatic assembly or movement procedures, etc. TECHNICAL-SCIENTIFIC COMPUTER APPLICATIONS Computers are manipulated as tools to perform tasks. They participate in the preparation of atmospheric prophecies, environmental control, circulation, telephones, artificial satellites, air navigation, etc. MEDICAL COMPUTER APPLICATIONS In medicine it goes from the beginning of the hospital inspection of patients to the exploration and progress of unknown techniques to treat diseases and patients. In the application of clinical analysis, maintenance of medical records, etc. MILITARY COMPUTER APPLICATIONS In the tactical field, automated radar methods, computerized missile management, military satellite espionage, management of telegraph systems, defense and security systems, etc. are highlighted. EDUCATIONAL COMPUTER APPLICATIONS In the training field, they consist of two points of view: one, the need to include computing as an element in technical studies, because the computer is a fundamental tool in all areas, it is necessary that every trained individual possess the necessary knowledge to the benefit of it. The other as a complement to the training of students through computer-assisted teaching techniques.
