COUNT function
The COUNTA function counts the number of non-empty cells in an interval.

Syntax:

COUNT(value1; [value2]; ...)

The COUNTA function syntax has the following arguments:

value1 Required. First argument that represents the values you want to count.

value2; ... Optional. Additional arguments that represent the values you want to count, up to a m

Observations:

The COUNTA function counts cells that contain any type of information, including d values.

Example: 39790 19

e error and empty text (""). The COUNTA function does not count empty cells.
TARGET COUNT function
Counts the number of blank cells within a range.

Syntax:

COUNTBLANK(range)

The COUNTBLANK function syntax has the following arguments:

Rank (Required). The range within which you want to count the number of blank cells.

Observation:
Cells that include formulas that return "" (empty text) are also counted. The cells that c

To run this formula, you must turn off iterative calculation. Here's how:
1. Click the File tab, and then click Options.
2. Click Formulas, and under Calculation Options, clear the Enable iterative calculation and hag check box.

COUNTIF function
Use COUNTIF to count the number of cells that meet a criterion.
Syntax:

COUNTIF(range;criteria)

For example:
Fruit Amount
apples 32
oranges 54
peaches 75
apples 86

Formula Description
COUNTIF(A12:A15;"apples") Count the number of cells with apples between cells A12 and A15
COUNTIF(A12:A15;A14) Count the number of cells with peaches (with the criterion of A14) and

SUMIF FUNCTION
The SUMIF function is used to add the values of an interval that fulfills

Syntax:

SUMIF(range, criterion, [sum_range])

The SUMIF function syntax has the following arguments:

Rank (Required). The range of cells that you want to evaluate according to the criteria.
The text characters are ignored.

Mandatory Criterion . It is the criterion in the form of a number, expression, cell

IMPORTANT: Any text criteria or any criteria that includes the logical symbols
