Sequence board game rules.

The objective in the board game Sequence is to make a row of five tiles in a row. These
sequences can be vertical, diagonal or horizontal. Your opponent will be trying to block
you, and possibly remove your pieces to prevent you from completing the objective.

Number of players.
Sequence can be played by two or three individuals. It can also be played by teams,
again two or three, with each team made up of several players. There can be up to
twelve players in the game.

Number of cards dealt

Deal cards face down to each player. With only two players, each receives seven cards.
With twelve players, being three teams of four people each, each player will receive
three cards. The number of cards decreases as the number of players increases in that
range.

Taking turns.
On a player's turn, he or she may reveal one of his or her cards and place a token
anywhere in the playing area that matches that card. The card proceeds to be
discarded.

Jacks.
There are four two-eyed Jacks and four one-eyed Jacks in the deck. If a player plays a
Two-Eyed Jack, he is allowed to play a piece anywhere in the playing area that is not
already occupied. If a player plays a One-Eyed Jack, he may remove any checker from
any of his opponents. A piece in a complete sequence cannot be removed.

Victory conditions.
To win, if you are playing with two players or two teams, you must complete two
sequences of five spaces; whether vertical, diagonal or horizontal. If you are playing
with three players or three teams, the first player or team to complete a sequence of
five tiles will be the winner.
Rules of the Sequence card game
"Sequence" is a board and card game published by Jax Ltd. The standard version of the game is
played with regular playing cards, but Jax Ltd. also produces editions with locations and simple
mathematics, in addition to the dice game "Sequence".

The essential
"Sequence" includes blue, green and red tiles, 104 playing cards (two common decks), and a
game board representing the cards. Each corner of the board shows a free space that can be
used by any player without placing a piece on it.

The goal of the game is to create horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines of five tiles, called
sequences, on the board. In games with two players or two teams, two sequences are needed to
win, while in games with three players or teams only one sequence is needed. In games that
require two sequences, only one token included in the first sequence can be also used to form
the second.

Jacks do not appear on the board, but these cards provide special benefits. Each two-eyed jack
is a wild card that allows the player to place a checker on any empty spot on the board. A one-
eye jack allows the player to remove an opponent's piece from the board, unless it is part of a
complete sequence.

Game
Each person selects a different color of chips. Since there are only three colors, teams must be
formed if there are more than three players. Each player cuts the deck and the person with the
lowest card deals (aces are the highest). The cards are shuffled and dealt. In the two-player
game, each person is dealt seven cards; with three or four players, each receives six cards; with
six players, five cards are dealt to each player; with eight or nine players each receives four
cards; and for 10 or 12 players, three cards are dealt to each one. The remaining cards form the
pile from which more cards will be drawn during the game.

The player to the left of the dealer starts the game. In turn, each player places a card from their
hand on the discard pile and places a piece on a space on the board that is equal to the number
and suit of their card, trying to create a sequence or block their opponents so that they cannot
create one. He then removes a new card and play moves to his left. If you forget to remove a
new card and the next player plays, you must continue the rest of the game with one less card.

If a card cannot be played because all of its corresponding spaces on the board already have
tokens, it is considered a dead card and the player who has it may discard it and draw another
card. Only one dead card can be discarded per turn.

Team play
Each team must have the same number of players. Team members use chips of the same color
and sit alternately at the table. The game is the same as individual, with team members
working together to form sequences. Players cannot give hints or suggestions to their
teammates. If a player breaks this rule, he and each of their partners must discard a card.
