Phase 2 Software Engineering

This document proposes the development of free educational software accessible to all types of users. The software would be classified as a mobile application and website that allows user registration, content management, quick responses to queries and advanced searches while maintaining the availability, integrity and security of information anonymously. The software would meet functional requirements such as question registration, 24-hour access and non-functional requirements such as compatibility with different browsers.

Introduction

In this document we will find all the requirements that are necessary for the

implementation of the software where there are criteria based on the needs exposed in the

case study of the company "solucionesdesoftware.com SAS", how to achieve the

implementation of a platform for any type of user with free 24-hour access, a system that

guarantees the integrity availability of the information with the security of being anonymous,

centralizing the information to be able to manage the database and also guarantee the

delivery of the information in a correct and correct

Development of the

activity

Name of the software development company that wants to make the

software.

Problem Description: Explain and describe the situation that you believe is the

problem that the software is intended to solve in the context of the case study.

In Colombia there are not many free educational applications that are open to the public,

which gives rise to problems associated with congestion and generates an empty form of

education without variety so that students have a didactic education; for consultation to

anyone who has a background with an extensive database and teachers who specialize in

various fields of education, up to specialties such as accounting, English, economics,

pharmacology and engineering, etc.

This staff is trained and provides answers to the different users who use the software.

Furthermore, during the needs analysis, during the consultation, the lack of support and

communication between the students and the teacher is highlighted, to provide a quick

solution to the situation that arises. Presents itself.

Identification of the type of software (type of application) you are proposing,

explaining why you believe it falls into that category or type.

In my opinion and analysis, web-based software should be considered, taking into

account that it is compatible with mobile devices so it is a tool used by many people, and

it is increasingly accessible, because it allows persistent user connection, so you can

make requests regardless of your location, in order not to waste time waiting for a

response.
Description of the requirements and characteristics that said software must meet

and offer, in accordance with those described in the case study.

According to the analysis carried out, a software proposal is defined as the

development of a mobile application with a corresponding website that is easy to access,

compatible and understandable for all types of users.

This software focuses on pedagogical organizations that provide general and specialized

student services such as: English, chemistry, accounting, engineering, calculus, among

others. It can also be said that it will be an information system with the following

characteristics.

Functional Requirements:

 Record the history of questions asked (database).

 Manage applications easily.

 Immediate response to requests.

 Advanced searches.

 Open access to all interested users.

 Log in to the system at any time as long as you have an internet connection.

 Assignment of different fields.

 Database capacity.

 You must have a role-based user registration and authentication system.

 The system must save in a database all the queries that

 are made, – virtual storage – cloud.

 Does not have advertising

 Service availability 7*24*365

 Backup server in case of Cluster service failure.

 Free software.

 Agile and truthful software in the delivery of information.

 Availability, integrity, and security of information and

confidentiality.

 Must have the ability to be friendly to all types of clients,

company personnel, anyone who requires it

Non-Functional Requirements:

 The system must work in all the most used browsers.

 User queries must be responded to in an appropriate time.

 Users must be able to access at any time.

 No need to install additional software for its function.

 The system must be interactive.

 The system must be with appropriate colors.

 The system must be simple to use.

 Web access software with 8080 and/or 443 security protocols.

 Allow access from any computer, operating system and browser.

 Servers properly balanced to handle high availability

of the information.
Types of clients to whom the proposed software may be directed.

 Universities

 Schools

 Students

 User.

 Doctor.

 Human personnel who require personalized attention free of charge and

anonymously.
Conclusion

We can conclude that the implementation of the software is required for the

education sector to alleviate the needs of millions of users.

We can say that the proposal housed in this document is the most

successful since it aims to cover all the needs of the company, also providing security to the

information that will be stored in it, and leading to fast and accurate information for the user,

all hand in hand with anonymous user access .

Implementation of centralized and manageable software in order to

have control of the system if required and make the necessary adjustments depending on the

demand of cases.

Why do you think the software chosen by the group stood out from the others?

other proposals presented and is it the most relevant to respond to the needs raised in the case

study?

According to the works submitted by all colleagues in the forum

collaborative we conclude in the same proposal for a web-based software
