Introduction
“More dreams are realized and extinguished in Bombay
than any other place in India”

The report briefs about the industrial tour where me and

my colleagues were made into two groups as per each
of our interests in industries. The option which I felt
more knowledgeable is Batch-1 which was optioned
with MAHANAGAR GAS LTD undergoing both oil

midstream and downstream and gas distribution.
The report also describes the nature of business used by
each one of the companies in terms of human resource
management, financial reporting analysis, business
strategies, health and safety environmental measures,
operation feasibility in gas distribution and refinery
management in midstream and downstream.
The main purpose of the industrial visit are the ones
which are highlighted above involving both advantages

Conclusion
A special gratitude to the department of energy
management, and the supported faculties behind the
accomplishment of industrial visit which was going
in such a wonderful manner in the light of personal
experience of the industry personnel’s who were very
calm and answerable to the questions raised by the
students of oil and gas. Although having some
discomforts in time management we were covering
almost each and every specific process in the
industries in either of upstream- midstream-
downstream.

As an oil and gas MBA graduate after the industrial

visit I could interlink the process flow between the
upstream- midstream-downstream in more practical
way as every process shown were basically value
addition to the Hydro Carbon chain right from raw
material to door step consumers.

As India a rapidly developing nation looking for the

aim to achieve the economy worth 5trillion in 2025,
the country has invested about Rs.50000 crores on
gas pipeline and infrastructure’s which gives us the
information that the country is moving towards gas-
based economy by paving way to development of
renewable energy resources by making the
environment cleaner and greener by saving the
country a consistent place for survival for humanity.
