IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
1. The candidate must reach the Centre as indicated against Reporting/Entry time at Centre in the Admit Card.
2. No candidate shall be permitted to enter after the Gate Closing Time.
3. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of the examination.
4. On completion of the examination, please wait for instructions from Invigilator and do not get up from your seat
until advised. The candidates will be permitted to move out, one at a time only
5. All candidates are required to download the Admit Card, read carefully the “Important Instructions for Candidates”
and strictly adhere to them.
6. The Admit Card is provisional, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as given in the Prospectus/Information
Bulletin.
7. Candidates are advised to verify the location of the test venue, a day in advance so that they do not face any
problem on the day of the test.
8. If religion/customs requires you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough checking and
mandatory frisking.
9. No Candidate would be allowed to enter the Examination Centre, without Admit Card, Valid ID Proof and proper
frisking.
10. Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:
a. Personal transparent water bottle;
b. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen;
c. Admit Card downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper);
d. Additional 01 passport size photograph for pasting on the Attendance Sheet;
e. Original valid ID proof.
11. Candidate must carry any one of the authorized Govt. photo IDs (must be original, valid and non- expired), PAN
card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhar Enrolment No/ Ration Card. All
other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in the mobile phone will NOT be considered as a
valid ID Proof.
12. PwBD candidates who are eligible for a scribe and had indicated their requirement for a scribe in their Application
Form will be provided scribe by NTA. Candidates are also permitted to bring their own scribe, if they so desire,
subject to compliance with the requirements in this regard, as contained in Public Notice No.
F.No./NTA/Exams/PwD/Scribe/2022 dated 11.09.2022 hosted on NTA website www.nta.ac.in
13. PwBD candidate (with disability of 40% and more) may be allowed Compensatory/Extra time of 20 minutes per
hour of the examination, whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not.
14. PwBD candidates are advised to bring a PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation
under the PwBD category. The Scribe must also carry his/her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding
educational qualification, passport size photograph, valid government identity.
15. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any other personal belongings including electronic devices, mobile phones to
the Examination Centre. Examination Officials will not be responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings
and there will be no facility.
16. Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted.
17. Blank sheets of paper for rough work will be provided in the examination Hall/Room. Candidates must write their
name and Roll Number at the top of each of the sheet(s) and must drop the sheet/s in the designated drop box
without fail, before leaving the Examination Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in non-evaluation of your
answers.
18. Admit Card must be dropped in the designated drop box while leaving the examination Hall/Room.
19. No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices. All the Examination
Centres are under surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers.
20. The candidate should ensure that the Question Paper available on the computer screen is as per his/her opted
course indicated in the Admit Card. In case, the subject of the Question Paper is other than his/her opted subject,
the same may be brought to the notice of the Invigilator concerned.
21. Candidates must sign the attendance sheet without fail and also affix their passport size photograph at the
designated space on the attendance sheet.
22. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has submitted multiple applications, his/her candidature will be
cancelled and legal action will be taken including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA / Ministry
of Education.
23. The candidates are to be governed by the Rules and Regulations/Instruction of the Examining Body and MoE with
regard to their conduct in the Examination Hall. All cases of unfair means will be dealt with as per rules.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES OF HYRID PAPERS
Instructions to candidates of hybrid papers ( i.e. those that are delivered in the CBT mode as well as paper pen mode):
1. Section A of hybrid papers is objective type paper comprising MCQs.They will be delivered in the CBT
mode.Answers to MCQs in Section A should be marked on the screen.These should not be written on the physical
answer book.
2. Section B and C of hybrid papers comprise questions which are to be answered in descriptive mode. Questions
relating to Section B and C will be delivered on the computer screen. Descriptive answers to questions in Section B
and C are to be written on physical answer books that will be provided in the exam centre. Answers to questions of
both the Sections is to be written on the same answer book.
3. Candidate will be required to hand over the physical answer books relating to Section B and Section C, (even if
he/she chooses not to attempt Section B and Section C), to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall. They are
not allowed to take the physical answer books of Section B and Section C with them after the conclusion of the
exam. Any such act will be deemed to be an act of unfair mean
