 Appointment Of Polling Agents


 Every Polling Agent must produce appointment Letter in
Form -10
 Attendance of Polling Agents – Reach the Polling Station at
least 90 minutes before commencement of Poll.

 Give Every Polling Agent A Permit or Entry Pass
 Connecting BU, VVPAT AND CU BEFORE MOCK
POLL ( Still EVM Switch off )
 Show to Polling Agent that the drop box of VVPAT unit is
EMPTY ( Verify NO paper Inside VVPAT box)

 ‘IF’ Critical Polling Station – Appointed Micro Observer

5. Check 7 Paper Slip printed Result: Pass
6. Press Clear on CU, it will show 0 for all candidates.
7. Start Mock Poll, Ask any polling agent to press
on BU
8. VVPAT will print a small slip symbol, name and serial
no – (visible 7 seconds)
9. 50 Votes must be cast. At least 1 vote for all
candidates including NOTA
10. Press Close Button and then Result Button.
11. Empty VVPAT PAPER SLIP Compartment.
12. Compare CU Result and VVPAT paper slips should be
same.
13. Press Clear Button on CU (CLOSE - RESULT –
CLEAR)
14. Finally Press Total it will show 0 for all
candidates.
15. CU ( Switch OFF )

5.45 AM Mock Poll can start, If Polling Agent not present till 5.45 AM.

STORE MOCK POLLED VVPAT SLIPS


1. VVPAT (50 + 7) Paper slips should be stamped back side with
rubber stamp.
MOCK POLL SLIP
2. VVPAT Paper slips shall be kept in BLACK ENVELOPE
COVER and SEALED.

3. PO & Polling Agents must put their SIGNATURE


on the envelope.
4. Sealed Black Cover shall be kept in plastic Box and
sealed with PINK PAPER SEAL; PO & Polling Agent
must put their SIGNATURE.
