ROBOTS

Are you interested in robots? / Do you like robots?

Yes, absolutely! Robotics engineering is a field I take a keen interest in. I

have actually subscribed to a journal entirely dedicated to robots called “The Robot
Workshop”. The other day I read a really interesting article about how robots can
be used to perform surgeries.

Do you like robots to work at your home?

I think that’s a brilliant idea. I’m quite lazy, so household chores like
cleaning or cooking are a real hassle. I would prefer to have those done by a robot.
Actually, we have a robotic vacuum cleaner at our house. It’s truly a life-saver.

Do you want to take a car which robot is the driver?

Well you know nowadays, self-driving cars are certainly not a strange topic
anymore. A.I. has gotten more sophisticated, and it is more than capable of
navigating addresses and controlling a vehicle. However, I have got say I don’t
really feel comfortable letting robots take the wheel. I think they are not 100
percent reliable, and may not handle dangerous situations like a slippery road as
well as a human driver does. So for now I still prefer to drive manually.

Will robots replace human beings in the workplace completely?

Well, these days human labor is being marginalized by automation in the

workplace, especially in manufacturing. Labor-intensive tasks can be done by
machines with ease and precision. However, there are always things that require
the delicate touch of a human hand. For example, a hand-made shirt always has
more soul than a machine-made one.

Describe a time when your computer broke down
This incident happened during the quarantine period. then I
bought my first laptop by placing an order through an online
shop. After about three days of use my laptop suddenly broke. I
tried rebooting but it didn't work. When I contact the store staff
where I bought the laptop, they say that it is not their
responsibility to help. I could not contact the technical support
centers because their works were stopped during the quarantine
period. As a result, I got information from the Internet about the
problems with which the computer can crash. And I found that
the problem was that the required drivers were not installed
correctly. I set out to solve it myself. I downloaded the
necessary driver from the website to a flash card and then
installed it on my laptop. Problem solved. I haven't had this
problem again on my laptop since 4 years. I am grateful that the
information on the internet today in all fields helps us to find
easy solutions in such situations.

Why do people often have problems using new product?
Many people have a hard time using new products for several reasons. First
of all, LACK OF FAMILIARITY. For example, the rapid pace of technological
advancement can make it challenging for people to keep up with the latest products
and their functionalities. Switching from a traditional PC to a Mac computer. It
might be confusing because it works in a totally different way. Another reason is,
manufacturers at times do not provide clear instructions or intuitive user manuals,
which leaves consumers to figure out product’s functionalities on their own, this
ABSENSE OF GUIDENCE can lead to trial-and-error approach, consuming time
and leading to occasionally unsuccessful attempts at operating the product.
What do people use computers for?
Well, without exaggeration, I can say that nowadays people use computers
for literally everything in absolutely all spheres of their life. For instance,
FOR COMMUNICATION. Computers serve as communication tools through
email, instant messaging, and video conferencing, connecting individuals globally.
And Computers play a crucial role IN EDUCATION, facilitate to complete
student’s daily tasks, providing access to online courses, educational resources, and
interactive learning materials. Another reason for using computer is managing
inventory, processing transactions, and conducting digital marketing activities also,
PROMOTE THEIR BUSINESS. The role of computer in the field of medicine has
become an integral part of our life. Computers contribute to medical research, data
analysis, and the management of patient records through electronic health records
(EHR) systems.
Should students be allowed to use computers at school?
I believe that students should be given the opportunity to use computers in
SCHOOL LIBRARIES while computer classes are TAUGHT AS A SUBJECT.
Because during computer lessons at school, students may have general knowledge
about computers. Such as Microsoft office programs and foundation algorithms.
And when they are used in libraries under the control can improve adaptation to
individual learning styles, providing personalized educational experiences for
students with different abilities and needs. However, without proper monitoring,
students may be prone to distractions and misuse of computers, negatively
impacting their focus on educational tasks.
What do you think of people who are addicted to playing computer
games?
I think that computer addicts are people who have QUITE LOW SELF-
ESTEEM, often suffer from anxiety and depression, have a pessimistic outlook on
life and problems with making interpersonal communications and relationships.
Additionally, addiction to computer games can be observed when students have A
LOT OF FREE TIME. And INDECISIVENESS about their future goals may also
be the cause. People who become addicted to computer games want their time to
be fun rather than meaningful or useful.

Should parents limit the amount of time that children spend using
computers?
Absolutely. I think it is an integral part of controlling their children. Every
child is different, and parents should consider individual needs and interests when
setting SCREEN TIME LIMITS. Limited and purposeful computer use can
contribute to the development of skills such as PROBLEM-SOLVING, CRITICAL
THINKING, AND DIGITAL LITERACY. Structured routines that include
specific times for study, play, and relaxation contribute to a healthier balance
between screen time and other activities.
