1. How does a planet differ from a star?


Ans: The difference between a planet and a star is: A planet does not possess its own
heat and light and is lit by the light of the stars. Whereas, a star is made up of gas
possesses its own heat and light.

Ans: The Sun, the eight planets along with their satellites, some other celestial
bodies like asteroids and meteoroids form the solar system. Example: we can
