Part 3 Quý 3 - 2022
Part 3 Quý 3 - 2022
Part 3 Quý 3 - 2022
1. Describe a difficult decision you made that had a very good result
Part3:
1. What decisions do people usually make in their daily lives?
- From my observation, there are various things that people tend to think of when making
their daily options, for instance, people tend to choose their favorite meals or hobbies that
they wish to engage in on a daily basis to guarantee that they can balance their work and
recreational activities.
- Some others might be time-minded so they must make the most use of their time budget to
decide what will be their priorities in order to accomplish their vital missions.
2. Which is easier: making a decision by yourself or making a decision after group discussion?
- Well I believe that I know best about my own preferences so selecting choices such as
clothes, foods or activities for my life is not a challenging task, however, if I have to engage
in a teamwork and participate in a project, I believe that discussing with other participants
will be much better since we all have different perspectives about various fields so we can
support each other to reckon the most ultimate solution to tackle our problems.
3.Why are many young people unwilling to follow their parent's advice?
- Some adolescents refuse to follow their parents’ counsels since they have a strong belief in
themselves so they want to gain their independence and responsibility by making their own
decisions instead of obeying their parents’ demands. In addition, owing to the generation
gap, I think parents and children can have some conflicting opinions about things, which
result in the fact that some teenagers are reluctant to follow their parents’ requirements or
advice.
Part 3
1. Have you ever asked someone for his/her opinion?
● If I remember precisely, when I was a high-school student, I didn't have a holistic perspective
about learning math and I had a hard time struggling with math homework, so I often asked
my best friend’s opinion on how to enhance my skill and proficiency in memorizing difficult
formulas as well as methods to better handle those math exercises. She helped me a lot
during that challenging period, so I felt that we should consult someone who is proficient in
that area to assist us to address problems more efficiently.
2. Why do some people react impolitely when listening to someone’s story?
● I think there are several reasons for this tendency, some people don’t have any empathy
with others so when they hear someone's story, they will often be inclined to judge or
criticize the actions that the other person has done without putting themselves in others’
shoes. Besides, I think some people inevitably get jealous or compare themselves to the
successes that other people have acquired, so when they hear those successful stories, they
will have disrespectful behaviors or words to bring others down.
3. Describe a place you have visited that you would recommend as a good place to live.
Part 3
1. If you had a chance to live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
● I’m infatuated with traveling and experiencing many different cultures, so if I had a chance
to live in one part of the world, I would definitely opt for living in Australia because there are
numerous appealing things for me to discover. For instance, the ecology and environment in
Australia is tremendously diverse and fascinating, so while residing there, I can lay eyes on
different species of animals and plants to broaden my horizons of agriculture.
●
2. What are the good qualities of a good place?
● Well, there are many prerequisite factors that make us make a decision to live somewhere
for a long time. Firstly, I think if the weather and the natural habitat are significant, if it’s not
suitable,we will suffer from extremely serious problems for our mental and physical health
in the long run.
● Besides, the opportunity to develop a career in the future is also necessary because living in
a place with good conditions for economic development will help us easily find a decent job
as well as having sufficient expenses to enhance our quality of life.
4. Describe an occasion when somebody said something positive about some work that you did
Part 3:
1. Will you be affected when hearing a number of negative stories?
● I consider myself to be an easily influenced person, especially when I hear too many negative
or tragic stories, I will feel sluggish and unmotivated, leading to a lack of productivity and
motivation to accomplish my goals of the day. So I often distance myself from pessimistic
friends who constantly complain about external factors. I’d rather read books to obtain
positive messages and turn my life into a more beautiful world.
Part 3
1. Why do people rarely use cash now?
- Well I believe there are some primary reasons for this tendency, the first cause is that in
today's world, technology has advanced by Leaps and Bounds, which means that today's
users can download a lot of applications that can help them to finish online transactions so
they don’t have to bring cash or a lot of money to public destination.
- Another thing is because of safety reasons, I suppose that individuals don't have to worry
about losing the money because they can use credit cards to ‘purchase their essentials.
6. Describe a person you from know who is from a different cultures backgrounds
Part 3
1. Where and how can we get to know people of different cultures better?
- As far as I'm concerned, there's a particular destinations that we can meet foreigners and
talk to them => first of all, in some major cities like HCMC for example, you can go to public
destinations in district 1, where you can easily catch sight of foreigners traveling or exploring
the beauty of Vietnam => so you can converse with them and question them to expand our
comprehension about their own cultures
Part 3
What would you do if you disagreed with someone?
- You know I always make an attempt to harmonize with everyone so I don't usually
encounter any conflict with my loved ones but if I have to be engaged in those situations, I
believe that I will try to control my anger or my aggressive behaviors when talking to others
- so I can demonstrate my personal perspectives about some aspects in order to make them
understand more comprehensively about what I'm trying to say.
Part 3
1. What outdoor activities are popular in VietNam?
- As far as I'm concerned, there are some prevalent activities that Vietnamese people are
really into. First of all, I believe that football, hands down, is the most common sport for
people, especially men to play and enhance their body endurance.
- Another activity is playing badminton. When you go to the local parks , you can easily catch
sight of local inhabitants playing this sport together , so they can consolidate their mental
and physical state.
2. What are the differences between after-class activities done by middle and older
children?
- I'm not sure about everyone because each child is interested in different activities, but I
believe that most middle children don't have to be overly concerned about studying or
sitting in examinations so they have more spare time to spend on their personal interests,
such as playing sports or going on a picnic with their family
- however, when children get older, they have to engage in the intense study schedule so
they have to devote most of the time to read books and do homework
- So those activities shrink their leisure time for outdoor activities, which can be quite
detrimental to their mental and physical state.
-
3. Do you think it's better for people to change jobs when there are new chances?
- I suppose that when people want to alter their professions , they have to consider several
factors, namely salaries, working environment, but when good opportunities come, some
people are reluctant to change because they are well acquainted with that job for a long
period of time.
- but I believe that it will be beneficial for individuals to change their jobs when good
opportunities come because this will just help them to broaden their horizons, which in the
long run, will enhance their career prospects.
9. Describe a programme that you enjoyed very much (e.g. on TV or the internet)
Part 3
1. What programs do people like to watch in your country?
- From my observations, there are some prevalent shows that Vietnamese people tend to
watch on a daily basis, you know, regarding young generations, they are more infatuated
with watching some educational shows that can help them to cultivate their sense of
knowledge about different aspects
- However, to adults , they are more into some shows that are amusing because they have to
be occupied with their intense work schedule, so watching entertaining shows can help
them to relieve their tension and enhance their spiritual lives.
● 3. What's the benefit of letting kids watch animal videos rather than visiting zoos?
While going to the zoo provides an eye-opening experience for children to gain a more
intuitive view of the natural world, watching movies and videos about animals at home also
has some significant benefits. First, when watching at home, kids will save a lot of time and
effort, instead of commuting directly to the zoos to see them in the flesh.
● The second thing is that each animal has a different habitat, so there are species living in
other continents that children cannot see in their own country, so observing animals on
videos will cultivate their sense of knowledge about different breeds of animals in the
world.
Part 3
1. Why do some people like to record important things with photos?
- I think this tendency is driven by some personal reasons, to some individuals who likes to
mark beautiful memories of their lifetime, I believe that taking photos can be favorable for
them to retain some indelible moments that won't last forever
- So when they’re depressed, they can look back at those photos and reminisce about some
precious moments with their significant others.
11. Describe a movie you watched recently and would like to watch again
Part 3
1. Where do people normally watch movies?
- As far as I'm concerned, there are some places where people tend to watch movies
together, you know, some individuals are introverted and just want to stay at home so they
can be comfortable to enjoy the movies with their family or friends.
- However, some others tend to hang out with their buddies at the cinema, so they can enjoy
a lot of fascinating movies together as well as the festive and vibrant atmosphere of those
destinations.
2. Are actors or actresses important to movies?
- I believe that both actors and actresses play a crucial role in the success of the movie, you
know, if an actor is proficient in demonstrating personal emotions and feelings of characters
in the movie, I believe that they will successfully arouse audience’s interest, therefore, it
this is the way to attract more people to watch that movie.
- The way they act and their appearance will allure more people to go to the cinema and
enjoy that movie, therefore, a lot of producers are willing to spend big bucks on hiring
reputable actors and actresses to participate in the movies in order to boost their income.
12. Describe a friend from childhood who you remember very well
Part 3
1. Why do people always miss their childhood?
- I think the reason is pretty simple => adults have to face an intense work schedule,
compared to their younger days when there was no pressure of money or deadlines. So we
all have the tendency to prefer the beautiful days of being worry-free and restful. We also
miss some people who are important to us so I think it’s natural for people to reminisce
about their old memories.
13. Describe the home of someone you know well and that you often visit
Part 3
1. What are the differences between houses or buildings in the city and in the
countryside?
- I believe the designs of houses in major cities and in the remote regions are vastly different,
in terms of houses in metropolises, you know, the land is quite small and the population is
dense, so people tend to build houses with more floors to hold numerous people in the
same living space
- In contrast , in the countryside, the land is quite large so most residents will construct their
houses with big gardens and rooms, which are around 500 or even 1000 square meters.
14. Describe a time when you saw a lot of plastic waste (e.g. in a park, on a beach etc.)
Part 3
1. Do you think we should use plastic products?
- From my perspective, long time ago, people didn't have a comprehensive understanding
about the drawbacks of those kinds of products => so they just freely used them on a daily
basis
- Those products are really easy to manufacture and durable so they could cater for the daily
demands of people
- However, nowadays, according to some studies, plastic goods can have an adverse bearing
on people's health, animals, especially the environment, therefore, I believe that we should
reduce our consumption of those plastic commodities and preserve our nature.
Part 3
1. How can people search for information now?
● In my opinion, with the proliferation of technology, today’s users can easily find information
related to their professions and specialized knowledge at the push of a button.
● They can optimize a handful of advanced technological gadgets such as phones, laptops or
iPads to search for information, which can answer their challenging questions and satisfy
their sense of curiosity.
4. Does the development of the Internet have any impact on some disadvantaged people?
● Technology is developing significantly, which means that people's intellectual level will be
considerably enhanced. However, for those who live in remote or isolated areas, most of
them lack access to cutting-edge technology, so they will probably face great disadvantages
compared to others living in major cities.
● For example, in cities, students can utilize laptops or phones to connect with others or find
information online effortlessly, while most children in rural regions can’t possess these
devices, as a result, they won’t be able to expand their knowledge or career opportunities in
the future.
Part 3
1. Do you think there are more beautiful things now than in the past? Why?
- From my observation, this is certainly the truth, you know, in today's world, technology has
advanced significantly so people can purchase products that are well-designed, therefore,
they can get access to a myriad of objects that used to be difficult to possess many years
ago.
- That's why I believe that this is beneficial for today's individuals to enhance their living
standards but sometimes, this can lead to the fact that many people take those objects for
granted and gradually lose their appreciation towards those items’ spiritual values.
3. Where do you think people usually come into contact with beautiful things?
- As far as I'm concerned, when we mention some well-designed objects, we will immediately
think of museums, right?
- I believe that this is where visitors can appreciate the outstanding beauty of several
paintings or sculptures created by talented artists. From there, visitors can broaden their
horizons about art and appreciate the spiritual values brought by these gifted individuals.
Part 3
1 Do you think kids like to share?
- I suppose it depends on different types of education that parents provide their children, you
know, some kids are well-educated so they tend to be generous and share their toys or
snacks with their peers, however, some children are overly pampered by their parents so
they can easily get what they desire .
- This gradually forms their selfish behaviors and they don't want to share anything with their
friends or their family members.
18. Describe a story or novel you have read that you found interesting
19. Describe a place in your country that you would like to recommend to visitors/travelers
Part 3
1. Is it important to take photos while traveling?
● I think it depends on the purpose of each person, some individuals when traveling will tend
to capture tons of eye-catching photos to preserve those memorable moments and they
can review them later when they don’t have any opportunity to travel.
● However, some others are overly addicted to photography and they spend all their time just
taking selfies or group pictures when paying a visit to a certain destination.
Part 3
1. Why do people learn foreign languages?
- I believe there are some persuasive reasons for this trend, the first reason is that some
individuals are really enamored with learning alien languages, so when they can master
some languages, they can challenge their limitations and foster their sense of
accomplishment .
- What’s more? Other people have to enhance their career prospects so being competent at
speaking different languages will provide more lucrative chances for them to advance their
professional career.
23. Describe a time when you succeeded in doing something that was difficult
Part 3
1. Is it easy to become a successful person?
- Well, success won’t be easy for anyone, of course and on the way to success, there are no
footprints of lazy people, so I think the most crucial factor for a person to yearn for success
is to be determined, so that they can weather any obstacles or challenges that come their
way.
- Another important thing is that a person needs to form a to-do list as well as set their
priorities on the list before embarking on doing something.
3. Is there a lot of competition with others trying to achieve the same goals?
● From my observation, nowadays there are numerous contests that allure individuals to
participate, therefore, people with similar strengths will engage in those contests relevant to
talents, sports or intellectuality, and I think through those challenging competitions,
participants will have opportunities to demonstrate different points of view as well as the
way they see and tackle problems.
Part 3
1. Which types of people become role models in your society?
- I believe there are some types of individuals that can become role models for others in my
community.
- One type of those are the ones who are ‘diligent and productive in their work => so they will
serve as the motivation for other people to ‘imitate their habits and behaviors.
- In the end, those people can acquire success or great achievements in their professional
lives.
2. Do you agree that famous people have more responsibilities than ordinary people?
- Yes, I suppose that well-known individuals will have a great impact on others, especially
youngsters => so they have to be responsible for their words, their actions and behaviors to
ensure that they will create a positive ‘influence and spread beneficial ‘messages to the
audience and help them to enhance their quality of life.
Part3
1. Do people in your country like to take public transportation?
- I suppose that the answer is no, because the transport system and infrastructure in my
country are not very up to par, so local residents will often be reluctant to opt for public
transport to get around the city.
- Instead, they will use personal vehicles such as cars or motorbikes to commute to their
preferred locations.
4. Are people less patient now than people in the past? Why?
- In the past, people were put in the situation that they had to be patient => At that time,
technology didn't advance, so when individuals wanted to send a letter or gifts to their loved
ones, they had to wait for a long time, which forced them to be patient.
- However, in today's society with the proliferation of social media and technology, people
can send messages or gifts to others at the push of a button => Progressively, most today’s
people lose their patience when it comes to waiting for something.
Part 3
1 What can people do to save time?
● I think there are many useful ways that people can use to save a huge amount of time and
use that time for productive work for their development.
● Firstly, they can use modern technological devices such as vacuum cleaners, washing
machines to save time doing housework, besides, Nowadays, we can use a lot of advanced
applications to help with daily tasks such as storing information, typing so that we can save a
lot of time instead of spending hours and hours doing those tasks manually.
3 Do you think parents should be responsible for teaching children to save time?
● Of course, I think that children are often naive and don't have a comprehensive
understanding of the significance of saving time, so they often spend a lot of hours playing
games or watching TV, which greatly affects their physical and mental development.
Therefore, parents should play an important role in thoroughly explaining the benefits and
ways in which children can practice the ability to save time, so that they will have a better
understanding and be ready to pursue time-saving habits such as going to bed early, making
detailed plans for the next day.
4 Do people who can manage time well become successful more easily?
● It would be difficult to say that everyone can be successful if they can manage their time
effectively, however, I think time is a very precious thing, if we don't know how to use it
appropriately, chances are, we won’t have sufficient time to complete all the necessary
work and further our own abilities, so those who can strike a balance between their
personal and work life to sustain their good mentality, knowledge and profession will be
more likely to yearn for success and acquire a financially viable career.
27. Describe a situation when you had to spend a long time in traffic jam
Part3:
1. Which vehicles are more likely to be in a traffic jam, cars or buses?
● I think both types of vehicles will be quite difficult to navigate in a narrow road or in heavy
traffic jams in metropolitan cities, however, I suppose that the bus will find it more
challenging to navigate through the crowd because their size is much larger and they have to
stop at different stations to pick up passengers, so it will be quite inconvenient for buses to
be able to travel on small roads, while cars are smaller and more convenient, so drivers can
effectively maneuver and get out of traffic congestion during peak hours.
5. Do you think only the government has the power to manage the problem of traffic jams?
● I subscribe to the view that the authority will have more capacity and power to deal with the
problems related to traffic jams because they can impose some strict laws to penalize those
having inappropriate behaviors on the road as well as policies to reduce the utilization of
private vehicles, however, I think it would be selfish to put all the blame on the government,
instead, everyone must be conscious of this matter. If we can walk or use public transport,
we should do so to reduce the burden on the government as well as the traffic situation.
Part 3:
How do children and old people get fit and healthy
● There are numerous approaches that I think both young and old individuals can apply to
possess a toned body and a healthy physical condition. First, they have to attach great
importance to their diets and ensure that on a daily basis, they will eat foods that are rich in
nutrients and vitamins such as fruits, vegetables and oats. I also think that both should
devote 30 minutes to an hour of their time to exercise, as this will help them become more
agile and potentially avoid ailments.
How can parents help and guide their kids to keep healthy
● I would say that parents play a crucial part in assisting their children's physical and mental
well-being. Parents, for example, should eat healthily and avoid processed foods so that
their actions can serve as a role model for children to imitate as well as shy away from
detrimental products. Secondly, I suggest that parents should exercise with their children
and explain the benefits of regular physical activity so that they have a comprehensive
understanding and continue to adopt these healthy habits.
Do you think it is a good way for governments to use the power of Idols to help people to build
health awareness?
● Absolutely, you know, in my opinion, society's influencers, such as actors and singers, will
have a large number of fans, particularly among the youth; so the state should maximize the
influence of those reputable figures to spread positive messages to residents, which, I
believe, can have significant advantages to the community's advancement.
29. Describe a family member who you want to work with in the future
Part 3:
What kinds of family businesses are common in Vietnam?
● I don't have much knowledge in this field so it's quite tricky to give a precise answer, but as I
observe, in Vietnam, people are enamored with running their own businesses such as
opening a coffee shop, a restaurant or a hotel. They will then pass on their enterprises to
their children or grandchildren to continue preserving the family tradition as well as help
them possess a financially viable career.
30. Describe a special day out that cost you a little money/ didn't cost you much
Part 3:
Do people like to spend their leisure time out in your country
● From my observation, everyone has their own leisure pursuits but I think most Vietnamese
people are vigorous and they are infatuated with hanging out with their friends as well as
having compelling conversations about various issues in life, which, I think, is an ideal way to
help them feel at ease and recharged after an arduous process of working. In addition, this
can help them strengthen their social relationships and learn a thing or two from the
knowledge of those around.
How does technology affect the way people spend their leisure time?
● I believe that, with today's prominence of technology, many inhabitants are overly
dependent on electronic gadgets, leading to a sedentary lifestyle. In the past, when people
had leisure time, they would assemble with their families and prepare delectable meals
together, allowing them to socialize and enhance their family bonds. However, nowadays,
some people are too dependent on technology and they spend several hours surfing
Facebook, Tik Tok, so I think technology has more or less altered the way we entertain
ourselves.
Do people often celebrate events with a large group of people or just a few people?
● I think it depends on the personality of each individual, some people are extroverted and
they love to throw parties with a huge number of people, so they can play silly games and
create exhilarating moments with each other, whereas others can be quite shy and
introverted so they don't want to be surrounded by numerous individuals, they just enjoy
having fun with their closest ones such as their parents or besties, so these moments will be
extremely significant to them.
Part 3:
How can rivers and lakes benefit local people?
● As I know, rivers are significant for the life and advancement of the inhabitants residing in a
certain area. Honestly, I’m no expert but in the past, I have been to several places in my
country such as the Mekong Delta for example, and I have witnessed numerous large rivers
that feed locals. You know, they take advantage of the alluvial water to grow a variety of
fruit trees and provide food for the entire country. They also do aquaculture and can even
export those products abroad to make a living.
How do you think rivers and lakes attract tourists?
● I would say that any place that associates with many rivers and lakes, local inhabitants will
tend to optimize those geographical advantages to organize different tourist activities, such
as rowing a boat and fishing. Therefore, tourists will cultivate their sense of elation when
participating in those activities. Besides, each river has different characteristics such as water
color, different sizes, so they have various fascinating factors that can draw tourists’
attraction.
Part 3:
Is it easy to find quiet places in your country?
● From my observation,it is not too challenging because there are some locations that can
assist local residents to enjoy the tranquility. In my country or my city, there are numerous
quiet coffee shops where visitors can dive into the serenity and totally focus on their duties.
In addition, there are some reputable and famous libraries in my country where local
inhabitants can search for some useful books to read or enjoy the peacefulness, so they can
shy away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Why do old people prefer to live in quiet places?
● Well I believe that majority of the aged are not really into the bustling atmosphere so they
regularly opt for some tranquil locations where they can have a peace of mind and enjoy
their precious moments, therefores, some serene destinations are more appropriate for the
elderly to pursue their personal interests such as reading books, newspapers or listening to
soothing music so that they can cultivate their sense of relaxation.
Why are there more noises made at home now than in the past?
● Well I think with the proliferation of technologies, today's users can easily possess different
modern devices such as smartphones and laptops to fulfill their daily requirements,
therefore, we tend to watch movies or listen to music to unwind ourselves, not to mention
that some people are infatuated with karaoke so they use speakers and microphones to sing
several songs, which is really a nuisance to other family members.
Why do some people like to use noise as background sounds when they are working or studying?
● I used to believe that when individuals delve into the tranquility and completely shy away
from noise, they will become the most productive version of themselves, but lately, I
watched a video that explained this aspect. You know, some research has shown that, to
some people, listening to some background music while completing their assignments may
raise their productivity and concentration, therefore I believe we can use this strategy
successfully if we know it's best for us to promote our work performance.
Part 3:
What are the contests commonly seen on TV programs?
● I would say that most people are infatuated with talent-related competitions because they
believe that these competitions will be ideal opportunities to create opportunities for
ordinary people to demonstrate their talents, abilities and seize possible chances to yearn
for a bright future career path. Besides, talent contests like The Voice and American Idols,
which are all the rage in many countries, will show various performances with ear-catching
melodies so viewers can nurture their sense of relaxation after a back-breaking day of work.
Why are competition shows popular?
● As I said above, many individuals are inquisitive about the talents and abilities that ordinary
ones can do, besides, when competing with other participants, contestants will show
different aspects of their personalities, which will bring a sense of suspense and have really
high viewership. I think that those TV shows also motivate a lot of individuals to have
sufficient courage to confront their limitations and apply for the upcoming contests.
37. Describe an invention that has changed the world in a positive way
Part 3:
What is the most helpful innovation at home
● If you ask me, I will say that there are a range of devices that are necessary to residents’
lives. However, I think vacuum cleaners are truly a life-saver because we don’t need to
allocate several hours a day just for cleaning the floor. This is a tremendously beneficial
invention for humans since we can vacuum every corner of our residence. Besides, some are
subjected to bone and joint diseases
● problems, so using this gadget is better for them to accomplish some labor-intensive tasks.
What household appliances make us lazy?
● Many technologies, in my opinion, have helped today's inhabitants save a significant amount
of time and effort. However, there are several devices that might make individuals sedentary
and unproductive. Washing machines are a telling example. People used to wash their
clothing by hand because it made them more durable, but some people rely on this gadget
heavily, so their clothes cannot be cleaned entirely.
Part 3:
Do you often help kids?
● Yes you know, I'm enamored with interacting with children because most of them are
innocent so at times, they come up with some funny or humorous questions that make me
burst into laughter, so I love interacting with them and I also have a thing for lending
assistance to kids when they are in times of need . I suppose that this can be an ideal way to
formulate my close-knit connections with children as well as uplift my spirits.
Why is it necessary to do volunteer services?
● Well, I feel that everyone is looking for happiness by any means necessary, but to me,
supporting others is one of the finest ways to gain happiness on a daily basis. You know, I
believe that volunteering is immensely beneficial for individuals to acquire pleasure since we
can devote our talents and energy to assisting others and lifting them out of adversity. So at
the end of the day, we will be content with what we can accomplish to better our
community as well as bring joy to people’s lives.
Who benefits more from the volunteer services? the volunteers or the people helped?
● I believe that both of them can reap tremendous benefits from joining volunteer services so
this is a win-win situation. In terms of the volunteers, they will learn a wealth of experiences
and knowledge about helping others, they can also nurture their sense of happiness when
witnessing others overcome their adversity in life. On the contrary, I think that the recipients
can also be content and satisfied when they receive financial and spiritual support from
others.
Part 3:
What kinds of things do people usually lose?
● There are a few items that we often forget or even lose. These are household items like
keys, cards or wallets. You know when we put it somewhere in our accommodation, we
usually don't attach great importance to its presence. Only until we really need it do we feel
exhausted to look for its location. Besides, the phone is also something that people often
lose easily because it is quite portable and tiny so when we go to a public place, we can
leave it in a corner without paying attention.
What do people often do when losing things?
● I suppose there are a few beneficial measures that individuals often apply when losing an
item or their belongings, first they will try to recall where they last left it to ensure they can
find it easily. If they can't remember its precise location, they will ask their surrounding
people to do them a favor by finding that object. In case the items are extravagant and are
immensely significant to them, they will have to go to the competent authority and ask the
policemen to help them find the lost items.
Part 3:
Why are traditional products important?
● I think that traditional products are extremely important for the preservation of a country's
culture. If that traditional product is progressively lost over time, it will adversely affect the
preservation of the culture and make the younger generation lose their interest of their
ancestors’ traditions and activities that took place thousands of years ago, so I think that
governments should do something to promote the beauty of their traditional items to raise
people’s awareness of cultural conservation.
Do you think religion is important for a country?
● I think all religions have the mutual purpose which is to educate followers and make them
become constructive citizens of society, so most of the rules and theories in religions are for
guiding people to help others and bring positive values to the community, so I suppose that
for the advancement of a country, religion plays an irreplaceable part in educating and
reminding individuals to always aim for positive things and distant themselves from
destructive behaviors.
41. Describe something you do that can help you concentrate on work/ study.
Part 3:
Why is it more difficult for children to concentrate nowadays than in the past?
● This trend is driven by several factors, firstly, I know that in the past, technology was not so
proliferated, so kids often spent a lot of time generating creative games and interacting with
their peers. However, nowadays, with the ubiquity of technology, most kids are prohibitively
addicted to technological gadgets such as phones, iPad and laptops so I think, gradually,
their concentration will be remarkably degraded.
Do you think technology will harm children's ability to concentrate?
● As I mentioned before, if used improperly, children will be negatively influenced by the
emergence and pervasiveness of technology. They will be easily disturbed by the sound of
text messages and notifications on facebook or Tik Tok, from which they can't get rid of it
and waste several hours just watching amusing video clips on those platforms.
42. Describe a time when you use your mobile phone for something
Part3:
1. What do people generally do with their mobile phones?
● I think the phone is an indispensable part of people's life because we use the phone for a lot
of different purposes. First of all, we can use the phone for educational purposes, for
example, when we take courses, we will be confused with some specialized information, so
using phones to look up beneficial or useful information can assist us to expand our horizons
of knowledge about different fields. Besides, some may use their phones for entertainment
such as playing games or using social networks. So I think the phone plays a very necessary
role in modern society.
2. Is it good to call late in public?
● I think when we are in public places like supermarkets or libraries, it is immensely impolite if
we talk loudly or have conversations on the phone that potentially affect others’ privacy, so I
think whether it's late or early, we should be well-mannered in answering our phone calls to
ensure that we won’t cause any inconveniences to those around us.
Part 3:
Are you often busy?
● Well you know, there are some situations where I had to be up to my neck with my
overwhelming workload and I didn’t not even have sufficient time to take a rest or enjoy
private moments with my family members, therefore, I was totally fatigued, but there were
also other periods when I was totally free from my work so I just had plenty of time on my
hand to enjoy my valuable moments such as cooking, spending time with my family and
advancing my abilities by learning a range of things.
What are the advantages and disadvantages when people keep busy?
● Well I think there are some pros and cons of being occupied, on the one hand, when people
are swamped with their jobs, they won't have time to overthink or dive into some negative
feelings, they just focus on their crucial tasks and perform at their best, therefore they can
promote their productivity and obtain more achievements in their life. By contrast, some
individuals are too dedicated to their jobs and they do not have leisure time to rest or
pursue their personal interests, so in the long run, this can take a toll on their physical and
mental state.
Do you think children should learn through playing games or under pressure
● I think each way has its own perks but I suppose that most children are inquisitive about
different things, so learning through playing intellectual games or puzzles can do wonders
for their cognitive development as well as their behaviors, that’s why teachers and parents
should perfectly integrate some games into their daily life and help them further their
abilities. On the contrary, being under pressure can potentially bring some adverse impacts
on kids’ mental performance later on, so we should be considerate about this method.
Part3:
1. Is it better to communicate face to face or online? Why?
● I find it more beneficial for people to interact face-to-face to easily exchange their ideas and
have a holistic understanding of each other through facial expressions, gestures and tone of
their voices. Meanwhile, conversing with each other online will be quite tricky for people to
fully comprehend each other’s thoughts and actions, not to mention that sometimes, the
internet instability may interrupt the conversation.
Part 3
1. Do you think online shopping will replace in-store shopping in the future? Why?
● Even though online shopping websites have become ubiquitous and convenient for users
nowadays, I still believe that buying in-store will remain popular in the near future.
● The reason for this trend is because some individuals have different body sizes, so it is very
tricky for them to shop online , chances are, when they receive the goods, they may
encounter some problems relating to quality or size
● Therefore, they are in need of going to the stores directly to try and feel the texture of those
products to make more accurate and appropriate purchasing decisions.
Part 3
1. What can children learn from parents?
● Parents have chances to interact with their children regularly, so they will have an
extremely important influence on their children and serve as a role model for their
offspring. So I think children can learn many things from parents such as their manner of
living, habits or behaviors, consequently, parents should put heavy emphasis on modifying
their habits and lifestyle in a healthy way to instruct their children and guide them to
develop more holistically.
2. Do you think some children are well-behaved because they are influenced by their
Parents?
● As far as I’m concerned, in most cases, this view is correct, you know, children spend most of
their time with their parents, therefore, when they observe and witness the behaviors of
their parents, they will be significantly influenced by them and tend to follow those
behaviors subconsciously, so I think when parents must be aware that their behaviors is
directly affecting their children.
● So they will be more cautious in their words and actions to mold their children to be more
well-rounded.
Part 3
1. What kind of service do you think is good?
- I believe in depends on different places but you know, some coffee shops have really high
quality services that satisfy my requirements => if my memory serves me right, in the past, I
used to pay a visit to a coffee associated with a massage service
- so I could enjoy a cup of coffee and massage to relieve my tension and recharge my
batteries after a long day of walking
- Overall, I believe that the service of this place is up to standard.
4. What do you think customers should do when there are problems with the products
they bought online?
- Honestly, I'm a careful person and when I make any buying decisions on the internet , I will
definitely choose some prestigious brands and stores verified by big shopping platforms,
therefore, I will easily contact them and ask them to solve some potential problems
- When I receive a product, I will record a video or take pictures in order to prove that I'm not
the one who caused some damage if there is any, not to mention that I will contact the
sellers and give them a lot of evidence to show that these products are damaged
accidentally.
Part 3
1 Do young people like to do sports?
● For the most part, I assume that most youngsters are infatuated with playing several kinds
of sports, this is because young people are often full of vigor, so playing sports will satisfy
their passion and bring them a sense of exhilaration.
● Besides, participating in some physical activities also helps the young to make new friends
and relieve their pressure accumulated at work, so sports are necessary for their lives.
4. What do you think of companies donating sports venues for poor children?
● In my opinion, this is a humane and commendable job. I suppose that children born in
underprivileged circumstances do not have sufficient access to sports facilities, Therefore,
receiving assistance from numerous organizations will provide them the opportunity to
consolidate their health and shy away from potential diseases that may endanger their
lives.
