The Tasman DVL is based on a TRDI patented Phased The Tasman DVL is designed as a replacement for the
Array design which offers the following benefits: Workhorse Navigator for ease of installation.
• Innovative phased array transducer design delivers Measurements include:
enhanced position accuracy at a reduced size, eliminates
the need for speed of sound correction, and reduces • Bottom track velocity
drag on your vehicle • Altitude: 4 individual measurements
• Optional XRT (Extended Range Tracking) delivers up to a • Error velocity (data quality indicator)
60% increase in bottom tracking range
• Acoustic echo intensity
• Field replaceable transducer
• Ethernet compatibility allows for plug-n-play with vehicle • Water track velocity
network interfaces • Current profiling (optional)
• Time of validity output for highly accurate coupling with • Temperature
an Inertial Navigation System (INS) further improves your
resulting DVL aided INS position accuracy
