Predicting the future isnt magic..

it is artificial intelligence…

Ai is careful machinery..which can be a tool to the user but at its extreme it convert the user also
as a tool..

It jus depends on how matter

artificial intelligence is a field, which combines computer science and robust datasets, to enable
problem-solving. It also encompasses sub-fields of machine learning and deep learning, which
are frequently mentioned in conjunction with artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence allows machines to model, or even improve upon, the capabilities of the
human mind. And from the development of self-driving cars to the proliferation of generative AI
tools like ChatGPT and Google’s Bard, AI is increasingly becoming part of everyday life — and
an area companies across every industry are investing in.

Strong AI - Strong AI, also known as artificial general intelligence, is a machine that can solve
problems it’s never been trained to work on — much like a human can. This is the kind of AI we
see in movies, like the robots from Westworld or the character Data from Star Trek: The Next
Generation. This type of AI doesn’t actually exist yet.

The creation of a machine with human-level intelligence that can be applied to any task is the
Holy Grail for many AI researchers, but the quest for artificial general intelligence has been
fraught with difficulty. And some believe strong AI research should be limited, due to the
potential risks of creating a powerful AI without appropriate guardrails.

In contrast to weak AI, strong AI represents a machine with a full set of cognitive abilities — and
an equally wide array of use cases — but time hasn't eased the difficulty of achieving such a
feat.

Weak AI
Weak AI, sometimes referred to as narrow AI or specialized AI, operates within a limited context
and is a simulation of human intelligence applied to a narrowly defined problem (like driving a
car, transcribing human speech or curating content on a website).

Weak AI is often focused on performing a single task extremely well. While these machines may
seem intelligent, they operate under far more constraints and limitations than even the most
basic human intelligence.

Weak AI examples include:

Siri, Alexa and other smart assistants

Self-driving cars
Google search
Conversational bots
Email spam filters
Netflix’s recommendations

Medical :

AI enables greater access and democratisation of quality healthcare. For instance, AI allows for
faster, cheaper and better medical services. In addition to cheaper options (such as AI doctors,
nurses, therapist, etc.) in areas that are more rural and promotes apps for access to rural and
low-income communities and avoiding higher travel costs with specialists. Some of these
remote healthcare apps include snake-bite diagnostics, skin cancer detection, malaria and
malnutrition diagnosis, and cardiovascular abnormalities

67 per cent of respondents in the UAE are willing to use an ‘intelligent healthcare assistant’ via
a smartphone, tablet or personal computer; while, in Nigeria, the willingness to use an
‘intelligent healthcare assistant’ via a smartphone, tablet or personal computer is 95 per cent

Health insurance companies today are using AI and machine learning to assess better and
pinpoint at-risk individuals to reduce costs according to reports from Healthcare Finance. Apart
from reviewing previous medical records, the application of AI and machine learning algorithms
to risk management is performed, which allows for better understanding the specific patients in
need of disease management. Additionally, doctors are utilising AI to optimise health; moving
from conventional patient care management to more standardised and proactive management
of patient care.
Healthcare administrators have been looking to bend the cost-quality curve in the sector
regarding utilising AI and machine learning, according to reports from Healthcare Finance. The
areas of opportunity that may be most beneficial to improving the revenue cycle are predicting
claim denials, patient billing, and cut readmissions. AI could be transformational in predicting
claim denials through the appropriate reasons and then preventing the issues before it occurs.
Using AI to cut readmissions was dependent on how the data and the risked patients were
utilised and interpreted. Measures include sending out healthcare professionals post-outpatient
to those high-risk patients to ensure that the medication regime is adhered to, and the
appropriate food and nutrients were met, according to the Executive Director at Grady Health
System.

Furthermore, revolutions in healthcare particularly for pharmaceuticals, the ‘new drug

development’ and ‘repurposing of existing drugs’ are two examples of applications of AI. The
new drug development can teach a machine learning model the rules of drug design, for
instance, the structure of therapeutic molecules; afterward it can apply models to improve the
existing drugs or even generate novel compounds or combinations of drugs. A case in point,
BERG Health, a biopharmaceutical start-up that uses an AI platform for drug discovery, initiated
a phase II clinical trial in April 2016 for a drug compound that could potentially treat pancreatic
cancer. For the repurposing of existing drugs, AI allows for the learning of complexed
relationships among drugs, pathways, conditions and side effects while conducting large-scale
testing and data analysis using the machine learning-driven data analysis. For instance, in
December 2014, Atomwise found two existing drugs- reportedly in one day using AI technology
that may significantly reduce Ebola infectivity.

AI revolutions in healthcare range from imaging diagnostics through medical imaging to tackle
medical conditions such as cancer, diabetes, eye health, brain disease, and heart disease. The
medical imaging team at IBM include data from medical journals, electronic health records, lab
results, radiology and pathology reports, doctors’ progress notes, clinical care guidelines, and
published outcomes studies. In doing so, such efforts and data may help physicians make
personalised care decisions relevant to a specific patient while building a body of knowledge to
benefit broader patient populations, according to IBM reports in 2016. Recently, the U.S. Food &
Drug & Administration and the National Institute of Health approved the first medical device,
IDx-DR, which employs AI to improve the quality and speed of various imaging methods to
detect retinopathy among the diabetic population. Researchers have unanimously concurred
that this new medical device could help hospitals reduce costs in the long-run.

In the UAE, the ‘Dubai 10X’ initiative part of the Dubai Future Foundation, sets the Government
of Dubai on a mission to be 10 years ahead of all other cities. The programme ‘10X DCAS’,
where the Dubai Future Foundation in collaboration with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance
Services have leveraged AI for the quick response before the ambulance arrives where the
patient’s vital signs are being monitored through sensors on smart devices. Another example is
the programme ‘10X DHA’ where machine learning and genomic analysis are conducted for
early disease predictions such as the DNA sequencing (genome mapping) for the entire
population, analysing genetic traits of existing patients to predict future cases and also
personalising treatments based on the analysis.

As the UAE enters the AI era among other countries, it is paramount for governments to enable
digital transformation, promote and foster capacity building and the right set of skill sets for
medicine precision, to best adapt and deliver the ‘smart’ AI governance in healthcare
particularly.

Future :-

AI can help detect cancer, stroke, or COVID-19 from scans, biopsies, or symptoms, and
suggest the best treatment options based on the patient's condition, preferences, and
outcomes. AI can also help monitor and manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart
failure, or asthma, by providing personalized feedback, reminders, and interventions.

AI can help patients prevent and improve their health by providing tailored advice, coaching,
and support based on their lifestyle, habits, and goals. For example, AI can help patients quit
smoking, lose weight, or exercise more by using chatbots, gamification, or wearable devices. AI
can also help patients manage their mental health by offering cognitive behavioral therapy,
mindfulness, or stress relief techniques through apps or platforms.

AI can help healthcare providers and payers reduce costs and improve efficiency by automating
and optimizing various processes, such as scheduling, billing, coding, or claims. For example,
AI can help schedule appointments, match patients with the right providers, or verify insurance
eligibility. AI can also help reduce errors, fraud, or waste by detecting anomalies, discrepancies,
or patterns in the data. AI can also help improve resource utilization, coordination, and
communication by providing insights, recommendations, or alerts.

There are many ways technology is improving health outcomes and one of the next big
breakthroughs will be in AI-assisted drug discovery. Drug discovery is the process of finding
new drugs to treat diseases and is often a lengthy, complex, and expensive process.
Oftentimes, companies are merely guessing and testing. By using artificial intelligence,
companies will be able to accelerate the process of drug discovery.

By using AI, researchers will be able to assess vast amounts of patient outcome data to identify
substances that are more likely to be effective against certain diseases. At the same time, they
can also screen compounds that are safe for human consumption and cheap and easy to make
Hospitals and research institutions will be able to use AI to analyze large amounts of data from
electronic health records, lab results, and other sources to identify patterns or trends that
researchers can use to predict future health outcomes.

It will also be possible for scientists and doctors to use a predictive model to identify patients at
high risk of developing a specific condition or to predict which patients are most likely to respond
to a specific treatment. Eventually, AI will provide physicians with real-time information and
recommendations to help them make more informed treatment decisions while seeing patients
in their offices.

At a higher level, policymakers will be able to use AI to analyze data from disparate sources—
from personal health records to sewage analysis to air quality—to identify patterns or trends that
they can use to improve the health of entire populations.

Robot-assisted surgery is the use of surgical robots in the operating room to assist in performing
a medical procedure. The most widely used system today involves a camera and very small
surgical tools attached to robotic arms that surgeons can control by viewing a screen that
displays real-time magnified images.

These systems enable doctors to perform many types of complex procedures with more
precision, flexibility, and control than with conventional techniques. How can AI improve robot-
assisted surgery?

First, AI algorithms can analyze images such as CT scans and MRIs to create 3D models of a
patient's anatomy. Doctors and surgeons can use this information to guide them around
important structures in a patient's body, minimizing the risk of complications.

Virtual nursing assistants are one of the most popular ways healthcare organizations are using
AI. While there are many apps that you can use to monitor your health and various apps that
use chatbots to support mental health, AI-powered virtual assistants are slightly more
sophisticated.
They can interact with patients remotely, providing them with information about their health
conditions, answering questions, and scheduling appointments. This can be particularly useful
for patients in remote or underserved areas. Virtual nurses are also used to help patients
identify and assess the severity of their symptoms and provide them with personalized advice
for understanding and managing their health.
Care Angel is an example of a virtual nursing assistant that conversationally interacts with
patients through a simple phone call or text message. It claims to extend clinical capacity by 600
percent.

Clinical Trials: Clinical Trials are, unfortunately, a real mess. Most clinical trials are managed
offline with no integrated solutions that can track progress, data gathering and drug tria
outcomes

This is still an emergent focus area in healthcare. As it turns out, by leveraging virtual reality
combined with artificial intelligence, we can create simulated realities that can distract patients
from the current source of their pain and even help with the opioid crisis
Mobile coaching solutions come in the form of advising patients and improving treatment
outcomes using real-time data collection. There’s a huge push in telemedicine in recent years
too with companies employing AI for minor diagnosis within smartphone apps.

Negative
More patients are self-diagnosing with AI. Instead of paying for consultations, they’ll ask
generative AI tools to explain symptoms and suggest treatment options. Roleplay prompts even
make chatbots act like physicians.
Although convenient and affordable, self-diagnosing with chatbots puts patients at risk of
misinformation. Remember: AI doesn’t double-check facts. It merely responds to prompts and
pulls data from its datasets. Even OpenAI encourages users to verify outputs because ChatGPT
occasionally produces biased content.

2. AI Overlooks Sociocultural Factors

When prescribing medication, healthcare professionals consider their patients’ finances, lifestyle
preferences, and cultural backgrounds. They don’t just go by the apparent physical symptoms.
Matching patients with inaccessible plans will discourage them from getting further treatment.

Education:-

1. Creating courses
A lot of time and money goes into creating learning courses via a central department. The use
of AI streamlines the course creation process, speeding up the process and reducing costs.
Whether you’re using premade templates or starting from scratch, AI software for creating
courses can help create interactive content seamlessly. You can efficiently work with your entire
team via in-app comments from reviewers and co-authors to create perfect training material.

AI simplifies and accelerates course development. By assessing student learning history and
abilities, AI gives teachers a clear picture of the lessons and subjects requiring reevaluation.
Teachers alter their courses by evaluating every student’s specific needs to address common
knowledge gaps. This enables teachers to develop the best learning programs for all students.

Offering personalized learning

Personalization is a significant trend in education. AI gives students a customized learning
approach depending on their unique preferences and experiences. AI can adjust to every
student’s knowledge level, desired goals, and learning speed to help get the most out of their
learning. Additionally, AI-powered solutions can assess a student’s learning history, pinpoint
weaknesses, and provide courses suitable for improvement, offering many opportunities for
personalized learning experiences.

3. Enabling universal access

AI breaks down the silos between schools and traditional grade levels. Through AI tools,
classrooms are now globally available to students, including those with visual or hearing
impairment or who use different languages. Using a PowerPoint plugin like Presentation
Translator, learners get real-time subtitles for all the teacher says, opening up new possibilities
for the learners who have to learn at varying levels, want to learn subjects that aren’t in their
school, or are absent from school.

Future:
Chatbots are one example of AI educational apps that students might use soon. These are
being increasingly implemented into classrooms where kids use iPads or laptops to chat with
bots designed to help them understand specific topics such as math or reading comprehension.
It’s possible chatbot tutors could do more than just help students learn new concepts; there may
even come whenever the analysis is needed. Chatbots are the future of all technical roots. It
reduces the cycle of tasks assigned to teachers. Chatbots used in classrooms could also
replace email communication between teachers and parents while parents meet also.

Virtual Reality (VR)

One recent innovation in education is virtual reality, which is being used for everything from
teaching history to helping students with math skills. Virtual Reality is a three-dimensional
computer-generated environment that people can explore and interact with. VR educators are
finding new ways to integrate experiential learning into their classrooms, truly shaping what it
means to be a student. VR is a great way to help students feel connected to each other. When
they are indifferent classrooms but using the same virtual reality program, they can
communicate safely while still being separated by distance. With Virtual Reality, students can
explore things that they may never have the opportunity to see or learn about in real life. The
same goes for teachers. Teachers can find much more engaging ways of teaching their
students. Anybody who has tried VR will know that it feels much more immersive than sitting in
front of a screen or being inside a computer-generated environment. Increased engagement
and deep understanding are just two benefits for students and teachers.

Learning Management System (LMS)

In this age of technology, one of the most important things is to stay up-to-date with
advancements in education. One of these advancements is the use of Learning Management
Systems. A learning management system provides a centralised, intuitive system for managing
all of a school’s online activities. These tools can be used for a variety of purposes, but they are
often utilised to achieve the following:

Tutoring and support outside the classroom

Ask any parent who has struggled to help their teenager with algebra, and they will be very
excited about the potential of AI to support their children when they are struggling at home with
homework or test preparations. Tutoring and studying programs are becoming more advanced
thanks to artificial intelligence, and soon they will be more available and able to respond to a
range of learning styles.

There are many more AI applications for education that are being developed including AI
mentors for learners, further development of smart content and a new method of personal
development for educators through virtual global conferences. Education might be a bit slower
to the adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning, but the changes are beginning and
will continue.

AI-powered educational games and simulations can bring this experience into the classroom,
making learning more fun and entertaining. Gamification can be used to make learning more
enjoyable and engaging, which can result in higher levels of motivation and better learning
outcomes. For example, points, badges, and leaderboards can be used to incentivize and
reward progress, while simulations and interactive games can be used to provide hands-on,
experiential learning.
Agriculture
Every day, farms produce thousands of data points on temperature, soil, usage of water,
weather condition, etc. With the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning models, this
data is leveraged in real-time for obtaining useful insights like choosing the right time to sow
seeds, determining the crop choices, hybrid seed choices to generate more yields and the like.

AI systems are helping to improve the overall harvest quality and accuracy – known as precision
agriculture. AI technology helps in detecting disease in plants, pests and poor nutrition of farms.
AI sensors can detect and target weeds and then decide which herbicide to apply within the
region. This helps in reduced usage of herbicides and cost savings. Many technological
companies developed robots, which use computer vision and artificial intelligence to monitor
and precisely spray on weeds. These robots are able to eliminate 80% of the volume of the
chemicals normally sprayed on the crops and bring down the expenditure of herbicide by 90%.
These intelligent AI sprayers can drastically reduce the number of chemicals used in the fields
and thus improve the quality of agricultural produce, and bring in cost efficiency.

Tackling the labor challenge

Have you ever wondered who actually picks the produce from the agricultural land? Well, in
most cases, it is not the traditional farm worker but robotic machines that are capable of doing
bulk harvesting with more accuracy and speed that are responsible for getting the produce on
your kitchen table. These machines help improve the size of the yield and reduce waste from
crops being left in the field.

Many companies are working on improving agricultural efficiencies. There are products like
autonomous strawberry-picking machine1 and a vacuum apparatus that can harvest mature
apples from trees. These machines use sensor fusion, machine vision and artificial intelligence
models to identify the location of the harvestable produce and help pick the right fruits.

Agriculture is the second largest industry after Defense where service robots market have been
deployed for professional use. The International Federation of Robotics estimates that as many
as 25,000 agricultural robots have been sold —matching the number used for military purposes.

Using AI and machine learning-based surveillance systems to monitor every crop field's real-
time video feeds identifies animal or human breaches, sending an alert immediately.
AI and machine learning improve crop yield prediction through real-time sensor data and visual
analytics data from drones.
Defense:

Warfare systems such as weapons, sensors, navigation, aviation support, and surveillance can
employ AI in order to make operations more efficient and less reliant on human input. This
additional efficiency means that these systems may require less maintenance. Taking away the
need for full human control of warfare systems reduces the impact of human error and frees up
humans’ bandwidth for other essential tasks.

can be helpful for quickly filtering through data and selecting the most valuable information. It
can also aid in grouping information from various datasets. This can allow military personnel to
identify patterns more efficiently, draw more accurate conclusions, and create plans of action
based on a more complete picture of the situation.

Artificial intelligence can aid in making target recognition more accurate in combat
environments. AI can improve the ability for systems like this to identify the position of their
targets.

Threat monitoring, as well as situation awareness uses operations that gain and analyze
information to aid in many different military activities. There are unmanned systems that can be
remotely controlled or sent on a pre-calculated route.

Even highly secure military systems can be vulnerable to cyber attacks, which is where AI can
be of great help. Attacks can put classified information at risk, as well as damage a system
altogether, which can endanger military personnel and jeopardize the mission.

Space

Robotics AI is becoming increasingly important in space exploration, with its ability to navigate
around obstacles leading the way. However, this is not a new phenomenon. For over a decade,
rovers such as the Mars Exploration Rover and Curiosity have performed fully autonomous
navigation drives on Mars’ surface. The rover’s sensors can detect environmental hazards such
as rocks, craters, etc. AI then analyses the data to determine the best course of action. It
ensures that the rover can pass by without colliding.

AEGIS, a computer vision-based detection system, is also installed on the Perseverance rover
and searches for exciting rocks to sample. It is a significant step forward, paving the way for
fully autonomous space exploration rovers.
The future of space exploration is on the horizon, and it is powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
AI-powered spacecraft are being developed to autonomously explore the universe, enabling
humans to venture further into space than ever before.

We have seen the uses of AI in future is different fields..

Ai is definitely gonna plaay a important role In each of our lives
From the time we wake up until we get back to our dreams next day it is gonna be out of large
help

Just how a day without mobile or gadgets is being such a rrae occasion.. a day without ai is
gonna remind our future generation about olden days..

Who knows maybe in the future an ai would be processing this essay which I wrote in 2hrs..in
