Introduction

Constantly weighing diverse interests and launching collaborative action is the

concept of global governance (BDI, 2020). Worldwide governance helps all nations

establish links with one another, therefore in a way it promotes peace and unification on

a global scale. Being a part of a global government has benefits for its members since it

promotes globalization, makes cross-border trade easy, and employs the cooperation of

all its member countries to handle international issues. The United Nations, a body to

which our nation belongs, is a remarkable illustration of global governance. One of the

first 51 signatories of the United Nations' charter in 1945 is the Philippines (UN, 1945).

How can the Philippines take a leading role in a superstate? The outcome of this

inclusive approach, which included extensive consultations with government

representatives, business, academic, NGO, and think tank leaders, as well as media

representatives from Brazil, China, India, Japan, Russia, South Africa, and the Gulf

area, is global governance (the UAE). The variety of the comments and observations

that we have incorporated into the text's main body attests to both the depth of the

debate and the challenge of balancing competing interests and points of view when

modernizing international relations.

One of the two ways

Trading is just one of the numerous ways a nation can support international law.

The economy of other nations could gain from the wide range of items that the

Philippines can provide. Manufacturing, electronics, woodworking, and agricultural items

make up the majority of the Philippines' exports (Trading Economics, 2022). The United

States has the greatest imports and exports partner percentage share with the

Philippines at 16.32%, according to a table from the World Integrated Trade Solution

(2019), which lists the countries with which the Philippines negotiates. Other countries

the Philippines negotiates with include Japan, China, and other Asian countries. The

information shows how the Philippines has embraced global engagement. In addition to

helping other nations, we might also help the economy of our own nation.

The other way

Participating in international problem-solving by providing support in any way is

another method the Philippines may improve global governance. The exchange of

information, aiding other nations in need, and providing military assistance are a few

examples. We might be able to share services and establish links with other nations

through this. It appears likely that they can gain the confidence of other nations and

unite with them.

Conclusion

Regardless of how we feel about it, our nation cannot solve its problems and

overcome its challenges by itself. I adore the notion of the Philippines actively taking

part in global governance because it would be good for our nation. By improving our ties

with other nations, we may be able to get the support we may require in an emergency

situation as well as the advice we may need while making choices.
