This document provides information on the partner offering – 8007218 Cloud Test and Demo for SAP
SuccessFactors HCM Business Package (hereafter as ‘partner test and demo offering’), offered in the SAP
Non-Commercial Price List (accessible via SAP Partner Pricing App) by the Non-Commercial Licensing
(NCL) team, including the order process, the deliverables, and the configuration requirements. Additional
information on access and the latest updates are available on the Learning Hub listed under Resources
below.

The Partner Test and Demonstration offering comes with enterprise SLA and standard customer support
conditions identified by Customer Support in the Resource section below. Demos are available to all SAP
partners with a Non-Commercial Licensing (NCL) Agreement. Amongst other features, these licenses can be
additionally used to fulfill PE Build partnership requirements.

This document does not cover the free trials (Free trials are restricted in limited quantities and with limited
functionality to partners designated as SuccessFactors HXM Suite partners only).

This document is intended for system administrators who will request the demo, receive the demo URLs and
credentials, and configure the modules for interoperability across the SuccessFactors HXM suite.
Note: The SuccessFactors HXM product includes deep functionality that is best used by getting the
appropriate certifications and by staying current with those certifications. Some administrator level
configuration and knowledge are expected with these demos in order to fully connect and use all the
modules. Recommended certifications and training are listed here.

1. ORDER PROCESS

Step 1: Partner orders the SAP SuccessFactors HXM partner test and demo tenants

A summary of the process is as follows:

1) Partners follows the instructions to order the SuccessFactors HXM demo SKU 8007218 provided on
the Licenses | Test, Demonstration, and Development page on the SAP Partner Portal.
2) During the ordering process the partner must provide the Technical Administrator email address.
The person will receive order confirmation to request the demo and will receive all login credentials
once he/she completes the steps 1.2. The recipient should be someone with technical
understanding.
3) Upon completion of the order the partner’s Technical Administrator (provided during order process)
gets a notification email for demo request.

Step 2: Partner requests the demo templates from the HXM Cloud Ops portal

Once the Technical Administrator receives the notification, he/she can specify the demo template to be used.
Note: Only the Technical Administrator can request the demo template (Other users requesting a demo
template will be rejected):

• The Technical Administrator goes to https://hxmcloudops.successfactors.com

o Login using your SAP ID S-number
o Browse to the T&D Demo Request Tool immediately after login or optionally from the Demo
Instance Request Tool (DRT) menu.
o Click the New Request button.
o Verify your email address.
o Enter your Partner ID and Order ID. The Order ID is available in the Manage My Services
application and click NEXT (check below Tip to find the Order ID*)

• The Technical Administrator selects the demo template as follows:

o Select the Demo Version. Versions are described in the Demo Templates section
o Select the preferred Data Center
o Note: DC2 is the preferred data center for EMEA based users. DC8 is the preferred data
center for NA, LATAM or APJ based users. Not all data centers are available for all demo
templates so pick the data center based upon availability.
o Verify your email address for the BIZX Provisioning email and clicks SUBMIT.

• An acknowledgement email is received by the Technical Administrator.

3
* Tip to find the Order ID:

1. Log in into Manage My Services application, navigate to “Cloud”

2. Find ‘Cloud Test and Demo for SAP SuccessFactors HCM Business Package’
3. Click on the line item

4. Note down the order ID for the Cloud Test and Demo for SAP SuccessFactors HCM
Business Package. The Order ID is typically a 9-digit number starting with ’24’ or ’50’
highlighted below.

If you need further assistance in requesting the demo template, please watch the How-to video

Step 3: The demo request is processed by the Sales Demo Ops team

Once the request is created by the Technical Administrator it is approved by the Sales Demo Ops team.
There is an SLO of 5 days for the approval process.
• Sales Demo Operations reviews request.
• Verifies valid Partner ID and the unused Order ID.
• Verifies valid Contact Person IT email address.
o Approves the request if valid and kick starts the demo creation. An approval email is
received showing the BIZX tenant ID and credentials.
o OR rejects the request and provides a Rejection Reason. A rejection email is received
showing the rejection reason.
• An approved request grants the partner organization full access to the portal for subsequent
requests.
• Additional handover emails are sent depending on the modules selected (See the Deliverables
section).

Customer Support

Customer support is provided to the Partner Test and Demo offering purchased through Non-Commercial
Licensing and is available here.

When requesting support use the same LOD-SF-** components as you would for a production customer.
Example:

• If facing issue with RCM then the component would be LOD-SF-RCM

• If facing issue with EC then the component would be LOD-SF-EC

Customer support is ONLY available to the paid Partner Test and Demo offering (i.e. those that have a
tenant ID like SFCPART012345). Customer support is NOT available to free trial demos requested from the
HXM Cloud Ops portal (Free trails have a tenant ID like SFPART012345 – i.e. they start with SFPART, not
SFCPART).

Do NOT try to request support for these free trials from customer support (If you need support on free
tenants then try the Learning Hub or submit a ticket to the HXM Cloud Ops portal).

allow external systems to connect.
• There is monitoring to ensure that the APIs are not burdened (e.g. by load testing, or poor code
practices causing expensive or invalid calls).
• If abuse of the APIs is found, tenants may be shutdown (deactivated or API calls blocked) to prevent
adverse impact to the overall environment.

5. DELIVERABLES

There are up to 6 emails delivered during demo creation. One each for BIZX, IAS (if IAS is enabled), LMS,
RMK plus one first time email for RMK Site Manager access and one email for first time BIZX Provisioning
access. The SLO to deliver all modules is 5 days after the approval. The deliverables are detailed as follows:

Foundations (BIZX)

Deliverables comprise one BIZX instance email with login credentials for each demo, one BIZX
Provisioning access email (for first time access to the data center only) and one IAS Admin activation
email (for demos with IAS enabled).

Upon creating the BIZX demo, the requestor will receive an email indicating the tenant ID, the URL, the
administrator email address and password. It is recommended to change the password upon first login.

• A sample URL is: https://pmsalesdemo8.successfactors.com/login?company=SFCPART012345

• Use the username and password credentials provided in the email
The requestor will also automatically be added to BIZX Provisioning.

• A sample URL is: https://pmsalesdemo8.successfactors.com/provisioning_login

• Use your S-user ID and password

8
No additional configuration is required for the BIZX features to be used. Configuration and links between
BIZX, ONB and JAM is automatic. However additional links between BIZX, LMS, RMK is manual and is
covered in the Configuration section below.

Do NOT change the URL end points unless specified in the Configuration section. Plus, do NOT change the
Company ID of the BIZX tenant as it will be become unusable and will be deactivated/deleted.

BIZX Provisioning access to the tenant by users other than the requestor can be done through the HXM
Cloud Ops portal Operations Request Forms | Restricted Access Request - Demo to request access to the
data center. Use the Demo Instance Access Request to request access to the tenant in the data center.

Onboarding

There are no emails sent to the user for ONB.

ONB 1.0 is a separate module created with the same tenant ID as the BIZX ID (e.g. SFCPART012345) and
is only provided when the NGD Tokyo template is chosen. ONB 1.0 is not available to other demo templates.
No additional configuration is required for the ONB 1.0 features to be used, some functions may require
admin access outlined in the Configuration section below.

ONB 2.0 is embedded in BIZX foundations and is available in all demo templates. Additional configuration is
optional through the BIZX Provisioning.

Community (SAP JAM)

There are no emails sent to the user for JAM.

By default, the SAP JAM module is only provided when the NGD template is chosen. It is not available for
the Empty Tenant/Best Practices template and cannot be added after the fact. No additional configuration is
required for the SAP JAM features to be used, but note that new BIZX user sync (e.g. through SFTP) is not
supported

Learning (LMS)

Deliverables comprise one LMS instance email with login credentials for one LMS instance.

Once the LMS module is created, an email is sent to the requestor including the URL, the LMS tenant ID, the
Initial User Name and the Password. Example:

• Subject: Learning Demo Solution

• Initial Username: partner
• Password: part1811ABC
• Direct LMS URL:
https://SFCPART012345.scdemo.successfactors.com/learning/admin/nativelogin.jsp
• LMS Tenant ID: SFCPART012345
The LMS tenant ID is the same as the BIZX ID (e.g. SFCPART012345). Note that when going to the direct
LMS URL, there is typically a 2-business day delay in the DNS resultion of the URL. Prior to the DNS
updates you will see a page indicating “Object Not Found”. Once the DNS is updated you will receive the
standard LMS login page.

LMS is not automatically connected to BIZX. This must be done manually as covered in the Configuration
section below.

Recruiting Marketing (RMK)

Deliverables include one RMK Site email indicating the RMK site and for first time only, one RMK Site
Manager email indicating credentials for access to RMK Command Center.

9
An RMK Site email is sent to the requestor including the URL, the Site Name, Site ID and Data Center. The
RMK Site Name and Site ID is the same as the BIZX ID (e.g. SFCPART012345). Information included is:

• Subject: Recruiting Demo Solution

• Category: Sales Demo
• Site Name: SFCPART012345
• Site ID: SFCPART012345
• Data Center: DC40
• URL: https://bizx40.jobs2web.com/commandcenter
As RMK is not configured RMK Site Manager access is needed to configure RMK and is provided
automatically.

If the requestor is not already a Site Manager, he/she will automatically get the RMK Site Manager email
allowing access, after which the Site Manager can see the new RMK site, ready for configuration.
Other users wishing to configure the site should request this through the HXM Cloud Ops Portal Operations
Request Forms | RMK Site Manager Access Request - Demo.

Additional Modules/Features

• IAS (Central Authentication) is available automatically for certain templates. Out of the box this does
not need further configuration, however it an application URL that allows admin access to advanced
user configuration as needed. Login to IAS Admin by appending “/admin” to the IAS URL.
• Note that as part of the IAS creation the requestor will get an activation email specific to themselves
which allows them to log into IAS admin either with their own email address or as sfadmin.
• IPS is available automatically for certain templates. Out of the box neither this needs no further
configuration, however it has an application URL that allows admin access to advanced user

Once delivered the following modules require additional configuration.

• LMS: Configuration needed if you wish to access Learning from within BIZX or sync new BIZX users.
• RMK: Configuration needed to setup the career site and synchronize data between RMK and BIZX.
• Reporting and Analytics: Configuration needed to expose reports in BIZX.
• ONB 1.0: Configuration needed only for advanced admin or if data sync is required between ONB

• The Demo Configuration Folder contains the latest documentation.
• Search for the relevant module (examples ‘LMS’, ‘ONB’, ‘RMK’, ‘Reporting’) to narrow down the
configuration documents.

10
LMS Configuration

Configuration is only needed if you require access to LMS from within BIZX. In summary:

• In the LMS the Administrator updates the Admin settings

• In BIZX Provisioning update the Single Sign On settings
Additionally, if syncing new BIZX users with the LMS this will require an SFTP site. In summary:

• An SFTP account can be provided upon request from the HXM Cloud Ops Portal Support page and
configured in BIZX Provisioning.
• A single SFTP account is provided to each partner for use with all orders/demo tenants and by all
relevant modules.

RMK needs full configuration, including the setup of the career site and synchronization of jobs between
RMK and BIZX. RMK does NOT require SFTP.

The RMK Configuration document provides information on full configuration of RMK. In addition, the XML file
for the Best Run Theme provides the Career Site theme for the NGD demo template. This XML file should be
imported as described below. In summary:

• In Command Center, the Site Manager configures RMK

o Connect BIZX and configure the RMK workspace
o Sync Users and verify the Career Site is operational
• In BIZX Provisioning, configure BIZX SSO Connection.
• In Career Site Builder (CSB), import the Career Site XML.

Reporting, WFA and People Analytics

Reporting, WFA and WFP is configured in the same way as for the Free Trial demos and is covered in the
Learning Hub. The WFA and Reporting Setup document provides information on WFA usage as well as
configuration.

People Analytics Stories is only available through the Upgrade Center. Search the Learning Hub for the
latest enablement and configuration details.

ONB Configuration (Version 1.0 only)

ONB 1.0 is automatically integrated and accessible from within BIZX.

If ONB Super Admin access is needed this should be requested through the HXM Cloud Ops Portal
Operations Request Forms | ONB Super Admin Access Request - Demo.

Additionally, if ONB 1.0 data needs to be synchronized with BIZX this will need an SFTP site. In summary:
• An SFTP account can be provided upon request from the HXM Cloud Ops Portal Support page.
• Create the job to perform the sync between BIZX and ONB.
• A single SFTP account is provided to each partner for use with all orders/demo tenants and by all
relevant modules.
