SYLLABUS

MA006_CALCULUS

2. COURSE DESCRIPTION

Calculus is a course in the general knowledge stage, it is a mandatory subject for students
in all majors. This course helps students acquire basic knowledge of multivariable
differential calculus, multivariable integral calculus (including partial derivatives), curve
integration, surface integration, as well as skills in investigating sequences, series of
functions, improper integrals, etc. Along with identifying and solving some differential
equations, including first order and higher-order differential equations, so that students can
continue to study specialized subjects or serve the process of preparing their graduation
thesis.

3. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

able to process data related to differential calculus, integral calculus
(single-variable and multivariable); be able to calculate and apply line
integrals, surface integrals; understand various types of sequences, series
of functions, and improper integrals; understand how to solve some types
of first order and second-order differential equations, etc.
G3.1 Be able to explain, reason, evaluate, comment, and analyze issues related
to differential calculus, integral calculus (single-variable and
multivariable); understand inference, calculation, and application of line
integrals, surface integrals; be able to investigate various types of
