 Team Project must fall under one of these topics.

 The team should start off be deciding the aim.
 Topic chosen should be clearly stated on all the work produced.
 Same global topic should be chosen but the aim (focus) must be different. For example, if
one group picks Poverty and inequality, one group can focus on homelessness and the
other can look into unequal access to education and another group can look into food
poverty.

Aim:

 Single aim for a Team Project

 A research question is not required like the Individual Report

Examples:

 To raise awareness about the importance of saving water

 To raise awareness about the disappearance of tradition and culture and how this
impacts identity
 To encourage helping the homeless within a local neighbourhood
 To encourage, supporting a charity providing accommodation for refugees
 To develop a solution to a problem such as improving disabled access to a particular
facility

Outcome:

 Once the aim is decided, outcome should be worked out that would help meet the aim
 Outcome needs to be practical and manageable
 For example, if the team has decided the aim to raise awareness to save water. They can
do an advertisement campaign for a television or a newspaper
 Other examples:

a) poster or series of posters

b) an information leaflet or brochure
c) a short video-clip (maximum 10/15 mins)
d) a song or poem, which learners perform live that is video recorded
e) a web page
f) a design, model or blueprint for a product or similar
g) an event of some kind (e.g. fundraiser)

 The Outcome itself is to be submitted for assessment with its accompanying explanation.
If the Outcome is a web page or takes some other electronic format, embed a link to the
outcome in the explanation so that it can be viewed. It’s advisable to make a video of the
outcome as evidence. The video should be no longer than ten minutes

 Feedback:
-Each team member needs to evaluate the outcome.
-The team can ask for feedback after it has shown the outcome to peers, friends, teachers,
family or to the audience for the presentation should they produce one.
-Feedback examples such as, produce a short questionnaire, hold interviews or a pre-post
event quiz depending on what the aim of the project is: raising awareness, promoting the
importance of something etc.
 The evaluation of the team project is marked on an individual basis. Important for
Reflective Paper. Each team member has to:
o Analyze and evaluate any feedback gathered
o Judge the successes and weaknesses of the outcome in achieving the project aim
o Suggest where and how the outcome might have been improved

Explanation:

 One outcome and one explanation per team. It should include the following:
 The topic (from the list of topics) and the aim of the project
 A short description of the outcome (250-300 words)
 Explanation of the cross-cultural perspective in the outcome is important, as to how it has
supported and informed the aim. Mere explanation is not needed but questions like ‘How’
and ‘Why’ should be answered
 It is advisable to use the sub-headings. They can be removed at the end, if the word count
increases

What to include in the explanation?

 Topic (from the list of eight topics) and aim

 A short description of the outcome (250-300 words)
 An explanation of how the team’s exploration of different cultural perspectives has
informed or supports the Outcome. The team should focus on answering questions like
‘why’ and ‘how’ rather than just ‘what.’

Cross-Cultural Perspective in Outcome and Explanation:

 The outcome and the explanation should include different views from other cultures
 It should not include local, individual/personal, national, regional or global perspectives
as in the Individual Report
 Findings should focus on meeting the assessment aim
 Due to word limit, completed questionnaires and surveys cannot be included in the
explanation, only summarized findings should be in the outcome, explanation and
reflective paper
 The findings should be included in the outcome and summarized in the explanation

Things to consider before starting off with the Team Project:

1. What global topic have we chosen and why?

2. What is the aim of our project and what are we going to do/produce to achieve our aim?
3. How might we critically evaluate this outcome in terms of how far it’s been successful in
achieving the project aim?
4. What do we need to find out and what do we need to do to create our outcome?
5. Who is going to do what and when?
6. Does our Team Project have enough scope for every team member to play a full part in
the project?
7. Is the workload manageable within the timeframe we have?
8. What plans do we have for gathering information about different cultural perspectives?
9. How can we show the different cultural perspectives in our outcome in order to meet the
aim of our Team Project?
10. How are we going to put together the explanation to go with our outcome?
