    PRE - LICENSING TEST FOR INSURANCE SURVEYORS & LOSS ASSESSORS

    1. The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority has authorized the Institute to conduct a Pre-licensing
    test for Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors, as required by the regulations.

    2. To check eligibility/qualification criteria, kindly visit IRDAI’s website. www.irda.gov.in

    3. Detailed information regarding syllabus, enrollment, examination fees, dates, etc., is posted on the Institute’s
    website www.insuranceinstituteofindia.com as well as on the IRDAI’s website www.irda.gov.in

    4. This examination will be conducted in online mode with MCQ pattern i.e. four times in a year i.e.
    March/June/September/December and the passing percentage is 60% (i.e. 60 marks out of 100 marks).

    5. Persons enrolled with the IRDAI as trainee surveyors, (As per guidelines received from IRDAI Circular Ref:
    IRDA/SUR/GDL/MISC/288/12/2020 Dt. 01.12.2021. are eligible to appear in the Pre-licensing test for Insurance
    Surveyors and Loss Assessors) Candidates can register, enroll & book the slot/subject and make the payment
    for Surveyor Examination/ Papers through the online option available on I.I.I. website. (The candidates who have
    already registered for Surveyors Exam need NOT register again and can continue with their registered
    registration number only). Please refer Calendar of Important Dates for the Online Examination Schedule and
    for the registration process refer HELP MANUAL (Examination – Help Manual – Help Manual Surveyors)
    available on the website. The registration fee for fresh candidates (one time) is Rs.500/- and the exam fee is
    Rs.500/- per subject plus service tax which is applicable.

    6. Pre-licensing tests for Insurance Surveyors will be conducted for the following subjects:

    Candidates registered for the Surveyors examination can purchase the above study materials in online mode. It
    is available in Hindi & English except for S-01 & S-09. For details please see the PRICE LIST OF STUDY MATERIALS
    given on the website www.insuranceinstituteofindia.com. Regarding other subjects, candidates are welcome to
    refer to the books published by III on the relevant subjects.
