MS EXCEL Project

Total Marks: 10 Deadline: 17 December, 2023


GUIDELINES:

1.
Students are supposed to meet the submission deadline. Late submissions will be subject to a
certain mark deduction.
2. Utilizing updated extra information is welcome.
3. Maximum of Two persons can work on the project together.
4. This list is not required to inspire your topic. These are only ideas.
5. DO NOT share your assignment/ analysis with others.
6. Coping from other resources is plagiarism and the student would get a zero for it.
7. Assignment submission will be on google classroom ONLY.
8. Project will be submitted by only ONE member.
9. Project file names should contain the name of the both members and IDs.
10. Power point presentation should contain a title with the name and registration IDs of both members.

 Your chosen project must include the following worksheets:
o Dashboard:
 Incorporate a title, logo, and visually compelling charts.
 Integrate a 2-way lookup area for enhanced interactivity.
 Use the line, bar, column, pie and scatter charts appropriately.
o Pivot Table:
 Construct this worksheet with essential pivot tables showcasing percentages,
comparisons, and in-depth analysis.
o Data:
 Compile a clean dataset with all pertinent attributes.
 Implement aggregate functions and formulas covered in the course, aligning
them appropriately with the dataset.
 Develop a PowerPoint presentation lasting 5 minutes to articulate your data analysis through
visualization. Your presentation should cover:
o Overview of the chosen project and its significance.
o Demonstration of the Dashboard's key elements and functionalities.
o Exploration of pivotal insights derived from the Pivot Table.
o In-depth discussion of the clean data, emphasizing the utilization of relevant
formulas and aggregate functions.
o Any challenges faced during the project and how they were addressed.
o Conclusive remarks highlighting the overall impact and significance of your data
analysis findings.
Marking Scheme

14th Week Topic and data will be shown by each group. 2 Marks

15th Week Power point presentation to discuss the insightful charts. 4 Marks

15th Week Excel file to demonstrate the excel skills 4 Marks
