Đề 1: Computers are being used more and more in education.

Some people
say that this is a positive trend, while others argue that it is leading to negative
consequences. Compare/ Discuss both sides of this argument and then give
your own opinion.
In recent years, computers are becoming increasingly popular. People hold
different opinions about it. Some people think that this is a positive trend.
However, others think that this is leading to negative consequences. In my opinion,
everything in this universe has positive and negative sides, depending on each
person’s perspective. In the following essay, both sides of the argument will be
discussed in more detail.
On the one hand, people say that this is a positive trend. First and foremost,
computers are not only time-saving but also money-saving. In fact, instead of
spending hours going to specific places, nowadays people can study, buy anything,
find information and contact others anywhere, even in seconds, right at home via
the computer. It will help us reduce the financial burden in life. Besides, when
today’s modern life has a lot of pressure, computers are a great way to help us
relieve stress after tiring hours of work and study because it can make us feel
relaxed and happy. Additionally, computers are wonderful treasures from which
they give us many choices in work, many opportunities to develop ourselves,
improve our skills, and expand knowledge as well as improve quality of life. Last,
computers will provide us with useful and necessary knowledge, thereby helping
us have an overview and synthesis of every problem and solve it easily. It can be
seen that computers are actually very beneficial in ways.
On the other hand, others think that computers lead to negative
consequences. In the first place, computers are the main culprit that makes students
distracted from studying because they spend too much time on it. Furthermore,
according to recent scientific research, people spending too much time on
computers can be harmful to people’s health because artificial light emitted from
electronic devices can cause nearsightedness and insomnia. Last but not least,
computers will negatively affect people's soft skills because it limits their ability to
communicate face-to-face. It can be proved that it also has quite a few limitations.

In conclusion, all of the things I mentioned above are just my own opinions
on this matter. I think that each person will have. different assessments of the
problem and it will affect each person differently, depending on the particular case.
As far as I am concerned, it could have both positive and negative impacts. People
should have further consideration on this issue.
