Narrator: Once upon a time, in Santa's workshop, there were three secret departments that saved
Christmas. Santa's youngest son led the Department of Lazy Elves. Santa's oldest son led the Department
of Lost Presents. And Santa himself led the Department of Sad Kids. They had helpers who made sure
everything went smoothly.
Together, these departments protected the magic of Christmas. They worked hard to make sure
everyone had a joyful holiday.
The Department of Lazy Elves, guided by Santa's youngest son, Jake, was a place where the elves loved
to take it easy. With the help of inspectors, chiefs, and officers, these elves worked diligently to ensure
that all the toys and gifts were prepared for Santa's sleigh.

DANCE PERFORMANCE

Scene 1: Jake 's Workshop

(Officer Terry, Inspector Vally, Inspector Tom are sitting in the workshop(stage) Jake comes to the stage.)
Jake: (rubbing his hands together mischievously) Alright, team, let's put our elf hats on and get to work!
Officer Terry, I want you to keep a close eye on Lazy Larry. He's been taking more breaks than a snowman
in July!
Officer Terry: (saluting) Consider it done, Jake! But Jake, we have a big problem. I don't know why the
Christmas toy production dropped. The elves seem tired.
Vally: I've watched them. They're not excited. We need to fix this before Christmas loses its magic.
Jake: Hmm, maybe we cannot guide or support them well.
Tom: Let's check and talk to them and maybe give them new duties.
Officer Terry: Agree Tom, let's listen and support
them. (Elf Sleepy comes to the stage)
Sleepy: (Yawning) Sorry to interrupt. I have something important to say.
Terry: You've been sleeping all week, Sleepy. Can it wait?
Sleepy: It can't. Promise. (Yawns and falls asleep on the floor.)
Jake: We'll hear him later. For now, let's plan to motivate the rest of the elves. We need a solution.
Tom: Santa could visit. That might make them work harder!
Jake: Great idea Tom! Alright, team, let's go out there and show those lazy elves the true spirit of the
North Pole! We'll bring back joy and energy!
(All characters leave the stage)

Scene 2: The Cave of Trolls

(Trolls come to the stage)
Doc: (rubbing his hands) My fellow trolls! This is our chance to become Christmas heroes!
Sneezy: (snifles) Yeah, I can't wait to see those snoring and dreaming elves!
Grumpy: (crossing his arms) Hmph! Those lazy elves will never same Christmas!
Dopey: (clapping excitedly) Hurray! They will fall into a deep sleep, and we'll over their Christmas duties.
Leo: (excitedly) We've got everything we need fairytales books, decorations, Christmas trees, and even
socks!
Sneezy: (letting out a big sneeze) Ah-choo! And I've got a special spray that makes anyone fall fast
asleep!
Leo: Elf Sleepy saw us but we splashed the special sleep spray!
Grumpy: (crossing his arms) We will show Santa that we can be the true heroes!
Dopey: (giggling) We will be the true Christmas heroes!
Doc: (call) Now, let's focus on our plan and become legends of Christmas!
(All the trolls gather around, laughing and leave the stage.)

Scene 3: The Socks Shop

(Sue and Sleepy are busy arranging socks. Inspector Glitter and Officer Cherry enter the shop.)
Inspector Glitter: Good afternoon, Sue and Sleepy. We have come to ask you about the shortage of
Christmas socks this year.
Officer Cherry: (curiously) Yes, we've noticed that you made fewer socks compared to last year. Care to
explain?
Sue: (looking perplexed) Oh, Inspector Glitter and Officer Cherry, we made a lot of socks this year. But,
you see, every morning when we count them...
(Sleepy suddenly stirs awake interrupting Sue's explanation.)
Sleepy: (groggily) Wait! I... I have to say something important. need our socks for...
(Suddenly, Sleepy yawns mid-sentence and falls back asleep, snoring softly.)
Inspector Glitter: (raising an eyebrow) Well, that was interesting. Sue, could you please continue?
Sue: (grinning sheepishly) Of course, Inspector Glitter. Where was I? Oh, right. Every morning when we
count, we realize that half of them are missing!
Officer Cherry: (surprised) Missing? But how is that possible?
(Suddenly, Sleepy jolts awake, trying to speak again.)
Sleepy: (determined) Wait! This time, I really have to say...
(Before Sleepy can finish his sentence, he falls back asleep yet again, his snores growing louder.)
Inspector Glitter: Sue, have you searched the shop thoroughly?
Sue: (nodding) Yes, Inspector Glitter. Every corner was checked, but we could not find those missing
socks anywhere.
(Suddenly, Sleepy jerks awake one final time, wide-eyed with urgency.)
Sleepy: I... I have to say something important... need our socks to steal Christmas from the elves!
Officer Cherry: This is a serious matter.
Sue: Wait a moment! I just remembered something. There's a lamp in the corner of the shop someone
left it there! (gives a lamp)
(Inspector Glitter and Officer Cherry examine the lamp.)
Inspector Glitter: Hmm, looks like somebody living in the darkness used this lamp.
Officer Cherry: We need to uncover the truth and ensure Christmas is not spoiled.
(All characters leave the stage)

Scene 4: The Tim’s Library

(Tim is organizing shelves of Christmas Tale books. Inspector Shimmer and Officer Bliss enter the library,
wearing curious expressions.)

Inspector Shimmer: (with a smile) Hello Tim! We've come to inquire about the shortage of Christmas
Tale books this year.
Officer Bliss: (excitedly) Yes, Tim, last year you had many books. What happened this time?
Tim: (looking puzzled) Oh, Inspector Shimmer and Officer Bliss, I made a lot of books this year. But...
Inspector Shimmer: (intrigued) Yes, go on, Tim. What happens when you count them?
Tim: (sighing) Every morning I count the books, I realize that half of them are missing!
Officer Bliss: (astonished) Missing?
Inspector Shimmer: (surprised) Tim, have you checked the entire library?
Tim: (nodding) Yes, Inspector Shimmer. I've searched everywhere.
Officer Bliss: Tim, has anything else strange been happening in the library?
Tim: Now that you mention it, in the corner over there there's a lamp (points the lamp) someone left it
there!
Officer Bliss: It seems that someone visited the library late at night and used that lamp.
Inspector Shimmer: It's possible, Bliss. Let’s inform others about this mystery.

Scene 5: The Happy’s Decorations Shop

(Happy is decoration the shop. Inspector Gleam and Officer Fred enter the shop.)
Inspector Gleam: Hello, Happy! We are here to ask you a few questions about the Christmas
decorations.
Happy: Inspector Gleam and Officer Fred! How can I help you?
Officer Fred: We noticed that this year you made fewer decorations compared to last year. Can you
explain why?
Happy: Well, the funny thing is, I made many decorations this year. But every morning when I count
them, I realize that half of them are missing!
Inspector Gleam: That's very strange, Happy.
Officer Fred: Have you noticed anything unusual around here?
Happy: Hmm no. (thinks) But wait! Yes, there is something. (taking a lamp) I found this lamp in the
corner of my shop (gives the lamp)
Inspector Gleam: (examining the lamp) Looks like it was used by someone who left it here.
Officer Fred: Do you think the missing decorations are related to this lamp, inspector?
Inspector Gleam: It's quite possible, Officer Fred.
Officer Fred: We must make sure the decorations shop is safe and ready for Christmas!

Scene 6: The Christmas tree shop of Larry and Sally

(Larry and Sally decorating the Christmas tree. Inspector Tom and Officer Terry enter the shop.)
Inspector Tom: Hello, Larry, and Sally! We are here to ask you a few questions about the Christmas trees.
Larry: Oh, Inspector Tom and Officer Terry! How can we help you?
Officer Terry: We noticed that this year, you brought fewer Christmas trees compared to last year. Can
you explain why?
Sally: Well, Officer Terry, it's a strange thing. We found many fir trees this year. But every morning when
we count them, we realize that half of them are missing!
Inspector Tom: Hmm… Have you noticed anything unusual around here?
Larry: Now that you mention it, Inspector Tom, there is something. (taking lamp) I found this lamp in our
shop. (Gives a lamp)
Officer Terry: Let’s inform others about this mystery.
(All characters leave the stage.)

Scene 7: Saving Christmas

(Inspector Vally and Jake gather, discussing their realization that the trolls have stolen various things from
the town.)
Inspector Vally: (concerned) We've discovered what the trolls have done. They've stolen Christmas
fairytales books, decorations, fir trees, and socks!
Jake: (confident) But don't worry, I have a plan. We need to call the trolls and show them that together
we can make Christmas joyful for every child.
(Doc, Sneezy, Leo, Dopey, and Grumpy come to the stage.)
Jake: (to the trolls) Hear me out! We can all work together to create a magical and beautiful Christmas. I
propose opening a shop of Christmas lights just for you trolls, where you can show your talent and be a
part of the Christmas team.
Doc: (apologetic) We're sorry for what we've done. We would be happy to be a part of the Christmas
team.
Sneezy: (nodding) Yes, we want to bring joy to everyone.
Leo: (excited) We'll make the most amazing Christmas lights!
Dopey: (eager) We promise to work hard and be helpful.
Grumpy: (softening) Yeah, we'll show everyone that trolls can be a part of Christmas.
(Elf Sleepy approaches, yawning.)
Sleepy: (half-asleep) Wait, I need to say something important... (falls asleep)
Jake: (smiling) Don't worry, Sleepy. We already know! We need all the elves, including you, to wake up
and help us save Christmas.
Inspector Vally: (confused) How do we wake them up?
Doc: (inspired) We need to sing a Christmas song! When all the trolls and elves sing together, the magic
of Christmas will awaken them.
