1 Purpose and Scope
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to establish and define a clear setup, calibration guide
for ISIS and ISFD Encoder
Scope
This guide is to be used by TRU personnel during the HW integration only. It is not
intended for customer use; all on-site recalibration or debugging should be done by a
qualified TRU employee.

o Type VER 3 and Enter
o Turning knob to validate Digital Input (DI) make sure the value increments and
decrement correctly (No jumping). If you have problem value jumping that mean
need “to do Calibration Encoder”
o Type CAL and Enter
o Turn the knob Clock wise, follow message until you see message appear
Counter Clock wise and then turn the knob Counter clock wise.

5 Validate functionality
5.1 Check encoder value
o Type VER 3 and Enter
o Turning knob to validate Digital Input (DI) make sure the value increments and
decrement correctly (No jumping)
o If you get jumping value that mean need to do Calibration Encoder
o Repeat step 4.2 one more time. If it was not resolve problem Encoder skips,
probably has serially problem with hardware Encoder switch.
