Skanect is a 3D scanning software that can transform your Structure Sensor, Microsoft
Kinect, or Asus Xtion camera into a low-cost 3D scanner

3D Processing: Skanect offers:
1. Model simplification: This process reduces the complexity of a 3D model by decreasing the
number of polygons, vertices, and edges
2. Hole filling & watertight mesh generation: This process fills in gaps in the 3D model to make it
