OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROJECT


YOU WILL LEARN TO…

● Use a method to analyze and solve problems

● Understand the steps of a technological process

● Use computer resources

● Plan and design a solution, working with classmates

HOW TO GET IT
As we all know we are in an uncertainty situation of economic and climate crisis. The governments have taken
different measures to be able to save energy and reduces the climate impact. Among them, limiting the
temperatures of air conditioning and heating, turning off the lights at certain times, creating city center zones with
zero emissions, etc.

For this project, your group must devise at least five proposals that help us to save energy in our normal life. These
ideas must be innovative.

Your group will use a project planning method that you will learn in this unit. You will need to follow certain
steps and produce different documents.

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED
1. Considering the point above and in order to prepare the project your group will have to follow the
Stages of a Technological process.

2. In order to complete the project your group must prepare the following documents:

2. Word document including the questions added in this portfolio to be done


every day. This document must include at least the following information:

ii. Index

iii. Detailed explanation about the stages of technological process and the conclusion
obtained of each one.

iv. Explanation of each way of save energy chosen

v. List of materials used and enviromental impact

vi. Roles used

vii. Drawings or sketches, videos, etc

viii. Webgraphy, Bibliography

ix. Planning (Excel sheet)

3. Presentation of your proposals (Google Slide)

4. A presentation must be used to explain the entire process of the project, from the initial design to
final production about your five proposals.

5. Finally, the entire class will vote for the best proposal and the winning group will get two points
more in the final grade.

EVALUATION AND GRADING


FINAL PRODUCT

- Google Slide Exposition (Teamwork) - 50%

- Word document (Teamwork) – 15%

- Individual exposition (Individual work) – 30%

- Daily work observation: Perfil SSCC ... (individual work) - 5%

TIMING

● Session 1: Presentation of the project. Analysis of the contents of the portfolio among the
team members. Later round by questions of the teacher and the rest of classmates.

● Session 2, 3: Get information from internet about different ways to save energy as per
required. Select final proposals. Prepare the planning with an Excel sheet and keep doing the
word file with questions.

● Session 4, 5, 6 and 7: Prepare different documents.

● Session 8 and 9: Presentation of Google Slide.
