DAY 4 : 05-04-2024

The above picture is done by; To click the Edit Study Case in the home page

of the software then u can give the Study Case ID as 100% Grid V and give

the Study Remarks as Case is done with 100% Grid V in the info. The Study

Remarks and the Study Case ID is given should be depend on which project u

have it. The Study Remarks has to be helped to the present engineer who

don’t have acknowledgement on that project. So, thus makes easy to know

what project it is.

STEP 2:

The below picture is done by, to click the Power Grid Editor in the Power

Grid component and click the rating in the power grid editor. To change the

voltage percentage of the generation category in the rating as Design –

100%, Normal – 95%, Shutdown – 105% and click ok to save the changes.

DAY 4 : 05-04-2024

STEP 6:

The below picture visualize that to create the other cases in the edit study

case by to click the editor study case and create the duplicate case study in

the one by one order of 95% Grid V and also 105% Grid V by clicking the

new option in the info.

DAY 4 : 05-04-2024

STEP 7:

The below image explains that there are 3 cases are created for the power grid in

the edit study case, it could be easy to select the each case to run the case with

the smaller system. But in the large system network; it may be complex. So

another option as the prompt to run the cases in suitable time consumption

which is located near the edit study case option to create the cases while giving

the run option to run the system.

LOAD FLOW ANALYSER:

To click the load flow analyzer in the ETAP Software to compare the results

of all the three cases with Bus results, Branch results, General info, Source

and also the load.

In the load flow analyzer, thus have the options of to make which case has to

be reference for the other cases. And also select what are the cases to be

visible.

The load flow Analyzer has the options of the Bus results, General info,

Branch results, Source, load and also have the option of export to export the

results of the cases through excel sheet as shown in the below Figure.

95% V Mx L, 105% Mx L in the Duplicate Study Case and click ok to save the

changes in the info. Before run the condition, you can ensure that in which loading

category have chosen and check with the study case and loading category is same.

And you have added the another six cases by clicking the copy in the info. After

added the nine cases; Lets run the cases in one by one as shown in the above

LOAD DIVERSITY FACTOR (BUS MINIMUM): (105% V Min Load)

84
NAME : SARANYA PRAKASAM

DOMAIN : INTERNSHIP TRAINEEE

DAY 4 : 05-04-2024

WHAT IS LOAD FACTOR?

LOAD FACTOR = AVERAGE LOAD/ PEAK LOAD

The Average Load must be less than the Peak Load

The system should be good in which the Load Factor has the maximum

value of 1.

The peak load which decides the equipment rating.

WHAT IS DIVERSITY FACTOR?

DIVERSITY FACTOR = SUM OF ALL INDIVIDUAL PEAK/ SYSTEM PEAK

Diversity Factor should be minimum of one then only the system is good.
