1. A portraying introduction to the dynamics of Daveyton community.
Welcome. The privileged of having to academically discuss about my neighbourhood is a
rare episode that we have saved for a sociology doctoral thesis under the political
sciences department, willing it would be under the auspices of this same institution. I
pray that my voice is suitable for this requiring activity at hand. Indeed, all decent
academic attempts to find of an intellectual source that highlights our statements was
sought. This paper resulted in a comprehensive researched writing that we plead it be
accepted and fairly graded. It does furnishes that instruction of unpacking our community
by using structural elements (in that regard, the task encouraged that we consider
loading three items in our basket from the filled market shelf). Yes, we tried to define
concepts by using simplified anecdote. That was nice. However, we remained true to the
course of upholding the learning spirit as purported by Section 29 of the Bill of Rights.
Can we add an acknowledgement letter? It was transforming to become proficient in
human rights aspects. So, here goes nothing.

2. A focused structural description of my community

First things first. Ancient wisdom from differing worldwide vanguards and perspectives
finds relevancy in my immediate environment. It is a place predominated by African race
folks with amiddle-class lifestyle pursuit. Daveyton Township is a working-class residential
area found through efforts of that distressing apartheid government administration. This
place is under theauspices of Ekurhuleni Municipality in the population-fluxing province
of Gauteng. At some point, the same province was said to be a city of gold. Our parents
had a stable income, which satisfied their basic needs provisions. Democracy brought
with it a side effect of crime tendencies along the country, and that has its own parables
of causes and outcomes. Sociology proponents of the University of Johannesburg
circulate magnetic principles that a community isan instrumental social institution that
assist with individual members forging an overall identity(Macionis, J. 2012). The concept
of Ubuntu conforms our community to the social Africanism guideline that asserts that
we collectively resemblance the ethos of our communities. Thus, in adelicate utterance a
community would be a geographically determined place (in our present articulation that
is Daveyton), of which is socially occupied by people (our community boost of 270 000
population. Only 2%of them, are of contrasting races other than that of African race),
with identifiable but diverse economic participations, religious expressions, and of
educational ventures (Slater, J. 2016).

The complicated township of Daveyton was established in 1955 by the apartheid regime.
It is anoriginally planned human settlement area with about 14 or more divided sections.
Benoni City officials placed house recipient in these sections according to recorded
information, which declared the receivers place of origin and ethnical background.
Meaning our community is found with people who have strong homelands ties. The
township sections are revealing the resident’s dominant language. Thus, there are
sectional areas officially named after language types, of which includes Basothong,
Maswazing, and Maxhoseng. They simply indicate the administrative language of which
its occupants are supposed to be fluent in. Primarily, these sections consist of large
brown bricks forming a square four rooms house structure in a fair yardspace. The
premise was that they are to host only nuclear family members. Over time, our township
homeowners changed that entire plight. Well, now population density is depressing over
the old and structurally channeled infrastructure. Hence, our liberated municipality fails
toprecisely maintain the township and its outlets (Ekurhuleni Municipality, 2024.
https://www.ekurhuleni.gov.za/customer-care-centres/daveyton-customer-care-
centre/).
Three months ago, there were cases of sewage outbursts in numerous streets, including
the dull industrial area I am having an accommodation lease contract with T.C. Manana
Foundation.Sewage waste materials were running and gathering in the streets for longer
than a month. Local political counselors claimed that the municipality lacks monetary
budget and resources to tackle that disgusting occurrence. Health, environmental, and
personal security fundamental rights are compromised. However, the fault is that of the
vibrant community. It expanded its population by rail-roading the government set protocol for
their yards. Always recall that the Daveyton environment was decided to be that of a nuclear
commuting labouring force with a modest income. Now, in the same area almost every yard has
backrooms for tenants or extended family members, or their houses are transformed into
mansions. All of that is awesome, but apprehending, within the context of our sensitively
arranged community. The population increment abuses the capacity of the township sanitary,
educational, and recreational facilities. The inhabitants of our community evade notifying the
municipality authorities whenever they are to enlarge or build newer structures in their yards.
The point, that is made is that our resources perhaps could only cover 50 000 people. There is
also a case of informal settlement areas connected to the township, threatening the Daveyton
legacy of aneconomic livelihood (City Population, 2024.
https//www.citypopulation.de/en/southafrica/Ekurhuleni/797014 daveyton/).

If it quacks, then it is a duck. The Daveyton township is expected to be an urban community. Its
location vouches for that. Nonetheless, due to socio-economic encountered short pits our
community also registers nagging rural community elements. Some of our fellow residents are
pushing of an awkward malicious propaganda that erases the groovy pillars of our community.
They lack that urban belonging in this compromised yet sophisticated habitant of mine. In terms
of gender distribution, the community population is level. in terms of gender. Female members
are encouraged to seek and create lucrative economic opportunities. Our youth is chasing of an
American dream. Therefore, it is fit that their mothers support their obviously extravagant ways.
But we might be missing a point of setting a warm personality achievement required to maintain
the subsequent generations. Our take is to pursue popular media culture of emulating, even
affiliating unto bogus illumination theories with a sorrowful hope that we would be
acknowledged as a financially abled African race species. The Egyptian have a famousmascot that
is sculpted with pure gold currents, and that was like in ten centuries ago. So, a portion of our
make-up is naïve and ignorantly held. In words from the department of philosophy we are
cluttered by a bandwagon fallacy (Critical Reason study material.2020).

The truth lies in the road ahead. Most of us are from families which taught that elders preserve
wonderful insight and an overall witty experience in the affairs of life. It is portrayed that they
hold a velvet torch of life. Herein those claims are upheld, on an introspection that maturity
brings with it a gift of willingness to learn from lifelong mistakes. In our neighborhood it is
apparent that our elders made various mistakes which they lapse to solve until they relay the
government services and products entitled mindset to their families. We regard such a situationas
false pride – ignorance turns into arrogance, then people become rude to everyone and
themselves. That is an introductory seminar to sadism. At first, I opted to swallow of my
confessed pride. At last, I destroyed of my nuisance tactics (I see myself as I am. I am a reasonable
man). Our community have sincere senior citizens. We are exhilarated to see of them saturating
the areas shopping centers during social security old age pay dates dominating. The township has
roughly four impressive shopping complexes, spread across different sections. I am situated by
the market themed precinct that lies in- between Daveyton Mall, Daveyton Hostel, and Majuteni
Shopping Complex (the latter is Majuteni Square is just that some well-meant, but idiot boy
attempted to cross and erase of my imaginative sphere. He triesto speak my language whilst
exploring to extinct it. silly). There are also a lot of informal hawkers and traders along the busy
streets of the township. They, often conduct themselves like thugs in the presence of Ekurhuleni
Municipality Police Department wardens. The crucial point at this junction is that plenty of them
balance of themselves against the mentioned market plazas, and school campuses up-against the
joint wishes of these malls supervisors, schools governing body, and municipality inspectors (I
delivered my highlighted statement: it is good to hustle, and it is conducive when it is done with a
process that ramifies municipality by- laws. Today Singapore is renowned for an effective
environmental management approach because it enforces land and air hygienic ideas. Perhaps
another aspect of true success is that oflearning meaningful things from notorious things. The
United Nations said Singapore is a totalitarian state, whilst the Republic of South Africa is a
constitutional democratic country.
Now, in my community we have a garbage and waste material dumbing areas problem. Our
people intentfully disposes of thrash in the street. They are refusing to pay a waste removallevy
to the municipality led cadres from African National Congress (Macionis, J. 2012)).
Most of these pinching hawkers are from the neighbouring Southern African countries. They
contribute to the vastness of languages spoken throughout the community. This township also
keeps Asian and African asylum seekers and refugees who run local convenient shops. There are
plenty of their business structures along the community. It is inspiring to witness their material
status genuinely improving. In my community those street business undertakings resulted with
IsiZulu language, and English language being frequently used languages. Every resident member
has a particular proficiency of these languages. It is an aerial manifestation ofa cultural identity.
The same asylum seekers have created an Islamic religion entity that serves two Muslims Masjids
within the area. However, our rife religious tone is that of the Christian faith. As earlier it was
noted, some of things within the township are out of hand due to compulsiveness. Certain
denominations convoke in school premises. There is a smoke in such occasions. Then some
people practice African customary rites. They were differing strings in their feet and hands. We
are thankful that section 15 of the Bill of Rights, which provides for freedom of belief is actualized
in my habitant. That nurtures tolerance and spiritual depth within the community (Slater, J.
2016).

It fascinates that artificial intelligence mediums (Microsoft Bing, 2024.

https://www.bing.com/search?q=HOW+MANY+WARDS+IN+DAVEYTON&form=ANNH01&refig=
18820be44f214edfe069b90cd8be4c52&pc=NMTS&showconv=1) define our community as a
“vibrant place”. We wish to invite the world to sponsor our development. The people strive to be
relevant to the mainstream jargon. That makes us an economic consuming society with material
competition. We are an emotionally bloating society with identical ambitions and looking for an
original faculty to express ourselves. That is imperative to common growth. This community is
built with more primary and secondary educational outlets which are respectivelycatering for
differing African official languages as per school policy. Indeed, African cultural diversity is rich.
The township has three libraries well fitted with study centers. This same Ekurhuleni Regional
campus of The University of South Arica is located by extension two of my community. It is
positively empowering to have intellectual bases within my habitant. They are modelling a
political president.
Likewise, this utopia of a vertical and horizontal political system in our country is that of a liberal
kind. It thrives best upon multi-party representation. That is why in my community thereare
various political parties with individualized manifestos, including that of President Jacob Zuma
and his people. These political organisations protect and promotes both the silent and canvassed
ideals of their members. Others claimed that a civil war is inevitable in this country. That course is
vile, and thus weird, and for that can only find expression among rulers who lackbrains. Most
African failed democratic regimes collapsed because of foreign financial interests in their shores.
Credible rumour has it that the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States insist on selling
armaments and rendering artillery and air force training to death cults along our continent, and
only does so after these countries gain independence. The Central Intelligence Agency never
offered any articles to African liberal movements during apartheid ordecolonization. But
immediately after we win independence it sets airfields in our land so it could spoil valid human
beings into dirty zombies (like the heroin junkies). That is the plight when fundamental rights are
denied and transgressed. These juicy allegations are street assumptions found probable. In the
previous local government elections, the African National Congress prevailed with straight
victory. Nonetheless, the 2021 local governance polls results were different. The said political
structure was embarrassed, when the electorates preferred councilors from the Democratic
Alliance to preside over the municipality council positions. But the African National Congress
stirred matters through procedural issues that initiated frequent motion of no confidence over
that municipality council up until they withstood to lead in the municipality. This same political
unit is dodgy with administrative facts that can assist the community to progress. The community
resources are dire because the municipality evaded to publicly release of records divulging the
capacity of our township mechanism to the residents, and stakeholders (Langer E.J. 2016).

Our township has decaying parts. It worries. We are lazy to independently act on this self-
empowerment opportunities that avails of themselves along these conditions. Still, Daveyton isa
medium dynamic awesome place to navigate thoroughly. It presents challenges necessary to
forge a stable psychological caliber. That is for those who are aroused by proper ancient
philosophies. I am of such an outcome. Thus, I invest in political and legal leadership. The
presence of this University of South Africa campus in the community brings in a breed of inspiring
dignified persons of educating mentality. This class is essential for an implementation of a
sustainable development endeavors. That means we are realizing we are an inclusive community
that has a positive obligation to reinforce real enriching programs, whilst we honorour negative
duty of refraining to undermine any person of whatever originality. We are revisiting the epoch
started by President Nelson Mandela of observing a reputable culture of human rights. We are a
multi-lingual site, with IsiZulu language and English being a common medium of instruction. Our
streets are forever busy. Our taxi ranks are commuter congested. We have an alarming crime
rate. Otherwise, this place called Vutta feels distanced from thetruth and safe. That is the
difference. We are the people of last town people.

3. Qualitative community case studies: A broader discussion of human rights

violations at Daveyton community. This analysis follows an interface of
structural factors in outlining the scenarios.

Okay. This prompting task requires of a holistic approach in identify community

situations infringing the interests of the Bill of Rights. This mission invokes a sensitive
intellectual procession. The Bill of Rights is a list of legally endorsed Fundamental rights
and the judicial manner to be consulted in comprehending this cluster of natural rights.
The Bill of Rights is makes chapter two of the Final 1996 Constitution. It is also called Act
106 of 1996. This constitution is a supreme legal code for the Republic of South Africa
(Slater, J. 2016). Our country had numerous constitutions before the Act 106 of 1996.
Nevertheless, all those were politically biased and legally segregating constitutions
which sidelined the African race at most. All these documentary statuses had an impact
upon the socio-legal standing of Daveyton community. But presently, the role is to
articulate on current community anecdotes entailing the infringement of human rights.
This task ought to have enquired of community attempts to alleviate realization of
human rights. We encourage a positive psychology perspective (Canfield, J. and Hansen,
M.V. 1993). My community has deeper roots connected to primitive African customs.
Some of thesegestures are discreet and harmful. That includes the removal of female
sexual genitalia. This practice is quite old within the Bapedi ekasi tribe, that it is accepted
as a maturing stage for teenage girls. During winter period girls are conveyed to initiating
houses in Limpopo province to undergo the so-called traditional growth rituals of which
are centered around the removal of their sexual genital glands. Now, this practice
undermines the physical and psychological security afforded unto all persons Section 12of
the Bill of Rights. Further note, your honor, that these girls undergo this dangerous phase
in their live whilst they are still of ages of which our statutes deem to be an age gap of
children (Slater, J 2016).

This female removal of sexual genital glands is a dirty striking event. It undermines the
core of its participants being valuable and dignified people of which is a quality
protected and promoted by the direct wording of Section 10 of the broader Constitution
of 1996. It is based upon 36 values and principles called constitutional points, which
were qualified during its adoption period. Now, in the Republic of South African legal
technicality context, a child is any person under the age of eighteen years, provided he
is not married. Section 28 (2) of the Constitution guarantees a juristic caution that in
any matter that somehow involves a child, her rights are to be given a specific priority.
Since this removal of sexual genital glands practice is a forced and rude practice (your
worship a close attention is bought unto that, by legal decree a child lacks standing and
acting capacity, which are necessary in contractual validity), which violates prudent
society members rights to their young integrity and educational prospects which are
positively arranged for by Section 29 of the Bill of Rights (De Waal, J. et al. 2001).

The denial of an impartial chance to these girls to regulate their bodily operations
affects later sexual activities conduct. In my community there is a shocking rate of
teenage parenthood, and another of single motherhood. This is a social failure with an
economic weight. These girls, raises bitter children. We can only hope that they receive
with an eloquent reconciling method that can enable them to survive. Such miserable
conditions are condoled by our community for an installation of the poking male
dominance doctrine. It paves a patriarchal system which ponders men figures as
superior gifted individuals of the community, whilst anticipating that both women and
children would subordinate of themselves to this course. It is a socio-political fallacy
which causes violent manipulation and channeled dependency of women unto the male
population. It is a pure arrogance that filters the community’s roles and status
descriptions (Macionis, J. 2012).

The male dominance ideology is reprehensive because is a socio-political misfit that

gradually affirms pestering sexism inclinations in our community. Those habits entail
containment of female persons, approval of violence against women, and sabotaging of
girls in schools and workplaces. In our community it is visible that women are presumed
to be spelling people. It is an attitude based upon demeaning a character of female
people. So, the male dominance encroaches upon pivotal constitutional elements, and it
more specifically weakens the non derogable provisions of Section 9, which expressly
wipes any gender prejudices in our society. I celebrate that in terms of recorded
demographic standards the proportion between males and females is equal (Slater, J.
2016).

Our community was discovered by the scrutinizing apartheid government under Dr.
Hendrik Verwoed cunning leadership through the scope of the penetrating scope under
the Groups Areas Act of 1953. This legislation strategically ensured that accommodation
areas were filled according to exclusive racial lines. President Verwoed was loyal to the
economic foundations of apartheid. Aftermath, he constructed the Bantu Education Act
of 1955. The term of Bantu was an IsiZulu linguistic relevancy for the European race to
refer to the African race. This statute nominated and planted Bantu education system. A
dropped educational standard that was to be adopted by the African race throughout
the country. By then our community fell under the Transvaal Province. Daveyton schools
taught this syllabus which was installing of an African male dominance, and an African
female inferiority. Therefore, these psychological traits are subconsciously transferred
to other African race generations (Ngcwangu, S. 2024).

I am from that broken family background. My biological mother is an alcohol addict. She
is financially affected by this habit. She is a constant feud with my adoption father. The
tendency of violence against women is intertwined with a foolish sense of entitlement
and poverty reality which denies those involved with a proper reasoning potential. It is a
psycho-social factor that undermines social and personal confidence. All forms of
violence are a manifestation of a sort of bullying category, and abusive condition. Thus,
violence against women attacks the interests of human dignity of which is coherently
stated in Section 10 of the Bill of Rights. Human dignity ensures a harmonious
community, wherein members are recognized to be deserving of curtesy and kindness.
(South African Government. 2024.
https://www.gov.za/documents/constitution/chapter-2-bill-rights). In our household,
there has been more episodes where my adoption father fervently verbalized of his
upraising mannerism allowing him to beat any person who made him feel otherwise (he
seemed convinced, that nothing was wrong with that claim of his). He cited troubling
worldviews of his that erased the same mandate of a constitutional supremacy
environment. This trashes the culture of human rights. He never expected that law
enforcement mechanisms might confront him for those disturbing deeds he uttered. He
was informed by aggression of which was expressing his sadness towards the society.
But social transformation processes begged for an implementation of restorative justice
efforts based upon human rights mode (Slater, J. 2016).

The principle of rule of law is that of an ancient legal uniformity stipulation. It strives to
drive a just society based upon open and accessible legal rules and institutions. The
principle of rule of law creates legal certainty. It is through this concept that the
separation of the judicial authority from legislative and executive branches of the state,
is based. Section two of the constitution for the Republic of South African creates a
constitutional supremacy state in this country that reinforces the adorable theme of
rule of law. That implies that the South African society, and the government machinery
expect legal codes and juristic procedures to be plain, and of a consistent application in
a mere uniform fashion, to everyone, and in every place within the jurisdiction of the
constitution. All laws and conducts which contravenes the constitution are lacking of
legality. They are void and null. Those are vivid fundamental characters of a
constitutional state which our country is channeled towards. That our community would
have an absolute faith in the state legal enforcement agencies and their crucial ability
toprotect and promote of the society’s good will (De Waal, J. et al. 2001).

The whole point of rule of law is to foster legal accountability. Daveyton township has
numerous legal enforcement institutions. They count Daveyton Police Station, Daveyton
Magistrate Court, Modderbee Correctional Centre, and Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police
Department Offices. These institutions are meant to symbolize an honest administration
of community justice. The community has a viable interest over that. However, the state
has failed to provide of an educational descriptive program to the Daveyton gnawing
community that would showcase of criminal procedure means and private law motions.
Such seminars are never bought to the attention of the most common lay person, and
he is the one with the most demanding manifestation for a quicker justice
administration, especially in criminal prosecutions. The government departments
cannot just find a language that is ready to directly and efficiently address this lad. Thus,
legal technicalities seem to provoke the older generation and the jumpy type of our
community (Vetter, H.J. and Silverman, I.J. 1986).

Our community has a low esteem over the police and courts readiness and effectiveness
to resolve criminal cases. As such, there are occasions when community membership
stupidly resorts into mob justice tactics in dealing with alleged perpetrators. Please,
carefully observe that such of a sinister approach is based upon gullible motives, clearly
removed from the legal norm of an urbanized community, and is a serious transgression
to important components of the Bill of Rights. I am emphasizing that in these cases the
same vibrant community is the one which railroad others dignity. In a constitutionally
supreme country, it is condemnable by the application and interpretation of Section 10
(Right of Dignity), Section 11 (Right to life), Section 12 (Right to physical and
psychological integrity), and Section 35 (Accused and Detained Persons Rights) of the Bill
of Rights that people in person violently confront others accusing them of criminal
involvement. That is a barbaric attitude. Mechanisms of our criminal justice system, no
matter how weak they are, they still ought to be allowed their due processes. The mob
justice tendency comes from, the ties our community, has with rural communities,
whereby previously, even now, they manifest illicit Kangaroo methods to ambush
families suspected of witchcraft practice and criminal involvement without any
legitimate authority intervention. Township police investigations into these atrocious
acts of mob justices vanishes without any sensible remedy implemented (Vetter, H.J and
Silverman, I.J. 1986).

I reside approximate to Daveyton Hostel precinct. This place is mainly occupied by

people from Kwa-Zulu Natal. Same province where President Jacob Zuma hails from.
Their language is IsiZulu, and they pretend to be aloof from westernized system (that is
the foundational thought of their deviant behaviour). They invest in the taxi industry
which is rebellious to many regulations. The population of Daveyton Hostel is infringing
section nine of the constitution, which is the equality clause, maintaining that we are all
equal before the law. Listen, it is well known that hostel people are dealing in drug and
police membership is used in acquiring staches of these drugs. The point is that local
authorities are scared to invade the area, because in the past similar raids by the police
force was oppose by malevolent hostel dwellers with a determined gun shoot out
battle. Some police vehicles were burned. So, these folks continue to distribute drugs
murderous reputation. The usage of these drug substances leads to criminal ambitions
and homelessness of its addicts. It is bad, and it is sad when thieves are coercively
requiring that we heed to their expectations (Langer, E.J. 2016).

It is discovered that both the community mob justice syndicate, and the Daveyton
Hostel residents are jointly motivated by peer pressure proportionalities in performing
the discussed spiteful acts of theirs. They seek medium in which they could establish
their superiority within the community, but out of a blunt effort, they consider that
being harsh, is a respectable outlet to forge a cultural identity. Their formal school
exposure is limited. There are also ethnical factors contributing to these reprehensive
conducts. People from the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal are stubborn when they are in
the Gauteng province. In my community, most informal settlements are dominated by
their presence. They register a selfish track that sidelines the social contract. But still we
can only encourage relevant legitimate authorities to deal with them, that is the culture
created by the Bill of Rights. For an instance, Section 34 of the Constitution makes it for
community members to approach a court whenever legal clarity is needed. Both the
conducts of the mob justice group and occupants of Daveyton Hostel ignores this right
(Tutor Chase. 2024. www.tutorchase.com/answers/a-level/psychology/dicuss- the-
influence-of-cultural-factors-on-criminal-behaviory).
My community is accustomed into using coal stoves. Family units prepares and burns
these stoves during the evening. It is traditionally in these families to cook and serve
supper whilst busking on the stove. So, there is a family culture of sitting in a stove,
especially so during Winter season. It is a fixed old habit amongst Daveyton household.
Medium black coals 50 Kilogram sack costs R120.00 from neighbouring coal yards,
alternatively from their loud turning mobile sales agents on mobile car trucks. There are
about three of these coal yards in the section where I am located. It is an old business
that seeks dedication. Nonetheless, the burning of stoves emits an enormous quantity
of smoke. This contains carbon dioxide and other wicked gases. They, spoil the quality of
air of which the community population depend upon for survival. Thus, causing air
pollution. This is the problem that violates Green Rights (Lloyd, P. 2011).

Air pollution is the contamination of essential atmosphere gases by humane conducts

which releases Carbon Dioxide. This threatens the ventilation ability of the animal
kingdom, and continual existence of plants. Worse part, being that my community lacks
trees, whilst it has many people. This has a health implication of which under this
discussion will be highlighted. The quality of air, which human being breath is a linked
determiner for their life expectation, and health strength. Hence, excellent
environmental conditions translate into an effective lifestyle. So, it is empirically
inferable that our community has an average life expectation score. Our air is affected
by various gases from smoke, including that of cigarette related products.

The right to human dignity, is found at Section 10 of the Bill of Rights as contained
within the Constitution. The reach of this right is affected by the community household
habit of burning coal stoves. This right provides for that everyone is entitled into a
livelihood that provides for a conducive enjoyment. That embraces an occupation in a
fresh environment. A feasible remedy to this human right violation would be finding all
sorts of modern alternatives for the community to use in substitute of coal stoves (De
Waal, J. 2001). The situation also has Section 24 of the Constitution offended. This
section provides for environmental hygiene rights, which air pollution cases
undermines. Perhaps eventually coal mining would legislatively cease domestic sales of
coals because the community quality of live is affected by coal usage (Lloyd, P. 2011).

Historical issues in Daveyton are influencing cultural positioning of the community

perception. This overpopulated community lost trust in the judicial processes. Lack of
regular interaction with government stakeholders is blamed for that. Thus, there are
often scenes which contradicts the ethos of the Bill of Rights. This is concerning,
because democracy stipulate that the public be taught constitutional morality. Suitable
education is needed to transform incidents where women rights are afflicted, rule of
law is denied, and environmental comfortability is lacking. It is indicated that our
community needs an installation of human rights vigilance to withstanding psycho-social
disturbances. We have a working-class economic system (Nieftagodien, N. 2013). We
are a spending consumer area. Our social structures promote Christian values. We can
overcome our short pit of human rights violations. But at first, we must be honest.

4. An evaluation of Co-Pilot’s analysis of human rights issues in my

community.

Co-Pilot is a web-based artificial intelligence medium. It delivered a succinct relevant

national human rights demonstrative report of which its content is applicably fit for the
conditions of my township condition. Therefore, the compromised human rights
situation of which Co-Pilot claims is true. There are vivid similar real incidents in the
Daveyton Community of which verifies the lack of human rights fulfillment. However,
the implementation of human rights culture is a collective mandate. It should be
avoided under the current circumstances that the government is the sole agency in the
realization of a human rights utopia. Our community is still lacking in human rights
conscious (Slater, J. 2016).

Firstly, in our community there are plenty of criminal reported cases which affirms the
prevalence of the male dominance doctrine. Meaning, women and girls are culturally
and financially patronized in this place. The cause lies in poor reasoning capacity of the
society. Our people are still controlled by their emotions. That finds a pity expression in
violence strikes by males to women. This scene is accompanied by lack of basic needs
satisfaction. The men might be embarrassed of his economic stance, and trying to claim
a control over the situation, but then he is deprived of emotional depth. The Daveyton
Police Station Victim Empowerment Centre accents that there are many case reports of
an intimate relationship whereby community men members aggressively beating and
cursing community female members. The Domestic Court, under the Daveyton
Magistrate Court its courts roll is full of registered daily cases of women claiming to be
victims of abuse from men. The same is alleged by women and children applying for
maintenance packages by the Daveyton Maintenance Court.

Yet our streets are filled with secondary school peers, who contend to claim material
gratification on wobbling stances. This practice bores a sly culture wherein others
abandon school on causes of being targets of bragging circles. It could as well be
gangsterism gatherings bullying those amiable. This occurs in public schools and young
girls are the spectators, and active participants. Ultimately, materialism seems to be a
collective mission upon others. But that is inferior complexities. The Benoni Local Offices
of South African Social Security Agency holds statistical representation that at Daveyton
Township there are a lot of single mothers who benefits from children grant. Most of
such benefactors uses those monies to hurt others. Co-Pilot is right the devil is ruining
our democratic pillars and it appears fun.

Secondly, the Daveyton community features areas and people which are dedicated into
street drug dealings. People who are devoted into crime and are claiming to be entitled
to pose themselves so. Anyway, the use of this drugs from them is of a more
threatening effect, than what might appear in the top of a surface. This business has a
network of which is denying legal and monetary accountability to the authorities. That is
plain bad. Those moguls learn to strategically undermine the administration of criminal
enforcement mechanisms. Surely, the community has given up on having the law
enforcement agencies serving them. This undermines Section 34 of the Bill of Rights of
which provides for reliance to judicial processes.

Lastly, our environment suffers land and air pollution. The Ekurhuleni Municipality
claims to lack of necessary budget and resources to tackle embarrassing infrastructure
defaults such as sewage plumbing network spewing dirt material. The flow of this waste
material lasts for weeks around the streets and yards of our community. This is a pure
degrading of the value of human dignity which is a cornerstone of the Bill of Rights. That
accidental incident of sewages blasting is evidential that the community infrastructure is
under an eroding pressure, and the local divisions together with Ekurhuleni municipality
is lacking of maintenance means to attend to the outlets. This disgusting occurrence was
extensively avoided by the apartheid government. It ensured that the population
placement in areas is suitable for the infrastructure and environment capacity. I find it
wise to acknowledge that.

As such, there are community exerting situations of which undermines the scope of
Section 24 (a) of the Constitution, which deals with environmental cleanness and
appropriateness for human settlement. This clause expects that the Daveyton
community live in a place that is fresh and worthy of human occupation. But the
Daveyton community contributes to an increase of illicit dumping areas which carries
sticking garbage particles. These sites are close to residential areas. Then it is the issue
of an enormous quantity of hazardous gases released from coal burning by the
community members, affecting the conduciveness of breathing in this environment.
Times are changing. That is real. The University of South Africa is trodding towards a fully
electronical essence. The Daveyton community soon must unleash the best of a
sustainable development methods which honors the reality from the Bill of Rights. We
are counting on that.

5. A loaded discussion of a single reactive prospect to the contraventions of

human rights in my community.

Critical reasoning provides that an initial pivotal step in any problem-solving model is
that of acknowledging the very existence of the problem itself (Critical Reasoning,
2016). It fits especially when it is a collective nuisance. Then only after that would
appropriate strategies related to the diagnosis and classification of that problem
follow. This meaningful process requires attention of elites. It is apparent that the
Daveyton community is encountering real human rights realization challenges. The
community plight is falling short of an ideal surrounding that the Bill of Rights intends
to foster within South African communities. Most of our problems are stemming from
a lack of an educational dedication into an extensive understanding of a contemporary
democratic system, and from a youth that forges an enthusiastic focus into arenas that
are peril and destructive for a calm and responsible citizenship. It so disappointing
since Daveyton is actually an urban community that is losing its structural
categorization. The deteriorating community situation calls for a stratified intellectual
commitment into navigating sincere options of building Rome in our environment.
(Langer, E.J. 2016).

I nominate that Daveyton community emerge as a pioneer of setting modern swift

solutions of a global standard and significance. We would be heeding to the teachings
of Professor Hebert Armstrong of Ambassador College that recent communities are
part of a bigger international picture. We are a tolerant and welcoming population.
That is if we are driven by the inclinations discoursed by the Bill of Rights. The search
for remedies of human rights Daveyton community struggles ought to be an inspired
broader community participation dialogue and task, which endorses possible positive
structural transformative effects. Sounds democratic to me. We are developing
manners of an open community that empowers its citizens. The violation of human
rights ought to be an indication of a low social cohesion along the community. Thus,
the Daveyton community need an educational outreach institutions and packages that
installs the Bill of Rights utopia (Ngcwangu, S. 2020).

A smart approach to rectify on the community human rights shortcomings is of

channeling a human rights culture of vigilantism (Slater, 2016). Such of a mindset
would equip community members with a strong ownership of the Final Constitution of
1996. That would assist in the realization that human rights operation carries with it a
correlating legacy of human responsibilities that neatly plants and stabilizes those
clauses from the Bill of Rights. In this line, we become an active citizenship with an
awareness that the fulfilment of the constitution along with the Bill of Rights is never a
mere obligation of government institutions but also a privilege that private individuals
may materialise. That is an application of the freedom of choice. That would transcend
the community membership, particularly the youth corps to seek, learn, and
contribute to the rule of law, gender equality endeavours, and community
environmental greatness. Education is still the light. I now see a vibrant Daveyton
Township.

6. A concise conclusion to the discussions of human rights struggles in the

Daveyton community.

Herein the means determined this end. Okay, the Daveyton community is founded
upon a patronizing foundation from the Groups Areas Act of which was an oppressive
segregation government legislation that sought to have urban residential areas
exclusively for the African race commuting labour force. That is that. It is
understandable that the current majority population of the Daveyton Township suffers
a personality gap. We might want a psychology reference for that but it is visible from
the violation of human rights trend. It is recommended that our community people
monetarily and mentally invest in a transformative educational journey, and a
governance type that would enhance of a trusted institutional culture within the legal
enforcement agencies, and street passages. We have a potential of being a global
leading environment in political and social undertakings. We are informed. We lack an
initiative. Only time would tell which pace we are pursuing. Hoping that road leads
into me being a national government presidential officer. Thank you.

7. This is a disclosure form related to the usage of artificial intelligence

along the contention of this assignment question paper.

i) My exposure to the use of web based artificial intelligence material was

limited. My sage mentors are dissuading a frequent consultation to those
sources (I am reverend of their language articulation. They bring what the first
question of this enquiry was demanding from me).

To give a direct answer to the current question, I used the Bing Chat, of which
led me to the friendly Co-Pilot). Therefore, I only used two artificial intelligence
tools along the addressing of this assignment.

ii) Well, I had a limited exposure to these artificial intelligence tools. I opted to
gaze through then, the internet based impression about the description of
Daveyton Township. It was inspiring, especially the relativeness of the language
it applies. They are a marvelous platform, however they could undermine from
compromised candidates of their academic integrity.

iii) The artificial intelligences I consulted are effective. I am glad we agree upon
that their language is seductive.

I relied upon my integral academic prescription to keep a focused and an

authentic loyal approach into the assignment activity and in the formulation of
my opinion. I appreciate that the whole basis of learning is to add value into
academia. A sensible routine to manifest that includes keeping an honest
original self-composed but informed task. Here I am.

iv) I would immediately give an affirmative respond of an absolute yes. The

artificial intelligence sites urged me to pursue a descriptive writing style that
employs a stipulative definition format. I take it these artificial intelligence
tools promises to evolutionize the use of the internet. Again, thanks, for this
task.
