Primary Job Responsibilities


• Own end to end pre-sales cycle for Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal
(RFP), Lead Generation, Go-to-Market for geographies / industry segments
• Contribute to the sales strategy for winning the deal and prepare and manage the
engagement plan and associated deliverables
• Develop compelling value propositions and solutions for specific client opportunities by
being part of a multidisciplinary sales and solution team

• Help to manage key client stakeholders and help to maintain an effective
partnership with clients by leveraging Cognizant and business partner relationships
• Maintain alignment between Cognizant’s solution and with customers’ business
strategy, drivers, and goals
• Lead the preparation of the deal financial construct and pricing case and ensure
that it is aligned to client’s business case and Cognizant’s strategic priorities
• Lead the development of key deliverables such as proposals, presentation
documents etc.
• Bring in the best ecosystem of solutions for clients by identifying and leveraging
fintech and new age technology partnerships that are relevant to the deal
• Act as a sales coach for delivery and client facing account teams and help
strengthen our overall strategic sales capability

Skills required
• Storyteller – make selling fun and interesting
• Learner – continual upskilling in financial domain and in exponential technologies
(such as Hybrid Cloud and Artificial Intelligence) and associated practices,
technology trends and their impacts to business and users
• Practitioner of design thinking – create novel options for clients (commercial
constructs, pricing cases, delivery models etc.) by going to unchartered territories,
while managing risk.
• Social being establish friendly relationships with several groups within Cognizant to
get the work done, on time and of high quality. Ability to drive consensus among
different stakeholders in a bid team
• Hands on person: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
• Required Work Experience: 0 – 47 Months
