About the job Senior Java Software Engineer

€ 50,000.00 - 66,000.00 gross per year (EUR)

The company fuels IT services providers with powerful software solutions to monitor,
manage and secure their customers’ systems, data and networks. Built on a scalable
platform, we offer secure infrastructure and tools to simplify complex ecosystems, as
well as resources to navigate evolving IT needs.

You will work with other colleagues from Romania team in a defence project using
different applications used by soldiers in their exercises. It helps bring the strategy
decided in the higher level command centers to the battle field soldiers. These apps
can be found on military vehicles devices used by the soldiers on Android devices.

You can find us in our development office in Bucharest.

What should you bring to the table:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or similar
• Experience in OOP + strong experience in Java (6y+)
• Demonstrated good knowledge in multiple areas of software development (e.g.
concurrency, design patterns, microservices, SOLID principles, REST, etc)
• Ability and willingness to learn new products and programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have:
• Experience with at least one UI framework: preferably Angular 2+

Here is a taste of what you’ll be doing:


Your primary tasks will be to:

• Design and implement new features together with the Domain Experts and User
Experience engineers
• Identify the pros and cons of various architectural approaches to building
software
• Troubleshoot, optimize and solve complex problems in an existing codebase
