• The wholesome curriculum of Eva World School is designed the premise of providing
engaging, learner centric, age appropriate, enriched curriculum which aims at

LEARNER'S CODE OF CONDUCT

A) ON CAMPUS
• Learners need to abide by the rules of the school and follow the directions of the
teachers and other people delegated with authority by the school.
• All learners are required to behave courteously at all times.
• The learners should converse only in English in the school premises.
• Where a learner indulges in conduct, which entails any form of disrespect, humiliation,
physical harassment, threat or violence towards staff members or other learners, such
learners will be subject to disciplinary action.
• Learners are strictly instructed not to involve in any form of ragging or bullying inside or
outside the campus. Bullying, use of abusive and foul language, undisciplined or violent
behavior in any form are punishable offences.
• Care must be taken of all school property and if any damage is done, it will be made
good by the concerned learner together with a fine imposed for the offence.
• The learners must follow the rules of the Computer lab, Library and Science Laboratories
as displayed in the respective areas.
• Learners are not permitted to carry electronic gadgets or mobile phones. The same will
be confiscated if found in the custody of the learner. The school will not be responsible for
goods lost.
• Learners are not allowed to use the school phone without the permission of the front
desk officer. They will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
• Learners are strictly forbidden to bring any sort of objectionable literature into school or
sell or purchase any article / consumable among themselves.
Learners are forbidden to bring crackers, explosives and other dangerous materials to
school.
LEARNER'S CODE OF CONDUCT

• No Learner is allowed to leave the school premises without the consent of the authority.
Any Learner abstaining from the classeswill be issued a Letter of Caution (LOC) followed
by suspension from school for 3 to 7days.
•A Learner, who uses unfair means during tests/exams, tempers with answer sheets or
school certificates will be given zero in the subject and a warning letter. Repetition of the
same will result in dismissal.
•Stealing is a serious off ence. Any Learner found or caught stealing will be severely dealt
with. If an erring Learner continues such acts, he/ she will be suspended or expelled.

B) DRESS CODE
• Parents are expected to make sure that their wards are in proper school uniform .
• All items of apparel must be clean and well pressed.
• The School Shoe as recommended by the School is to be worn every day. Floaters are
allowed only during the rainy season.
• Student ID Cards must be compulsorily worn to school every day.
• Learners are not permitted to wear expensive jewellery, watches, accessories etc. to the
school. If learners are found with any of the above the same will be confiscated. The
school will not be responsible for goods lost.
• Girls with shoulder length hair or longer should have their hair neatly plaited and tied with
a black band and shorter hair should be pushed back with a black hair band. All boys must
have their hair trimmed regularly; side-burns and long hair in the nape are not allowed.
• Nails should be trimmed properly and girls are not expected to use nail polish or mehendi.

GENERAL RULES OF THE SCHOOL

REGULATORY RULES
A) Attendance Rules
• It is compulsory for students to have 75% attendance in each term in order to be eligible
to take the end-of-term assessment. No learner shall be eligible for promotion unless
he/she puts in an attendance of at least 75% of the total number of working days in an
academic year.
• This stipulation can only be relaxed on genuine medical grounds, at the sole discretion of
the Principal. On medical grounds too, a Learner cannot remain absent for more than 40%
of total working days.
• Attendance/ participation at official school functions on Annual Sports day & Cultural Day
etc. is compulsory.

B) Late Coming Rules


• Learners should reach the school 5 minutes before the start of the school; Arriving late for
school is not acceptable and will be dealt with strictly.
• Late coming for more than 3 times in a month will be recorded by the teacher in the
register and the parents will be asked to produce a reason for the same.
• Do not leave the child near the gate and move immediately; before leaving, please ensure
that the child has entered the school premises.

C) Absence from School


• Students who are ill should not be sent to school even on exam/test day.
GENERAL RULES OF THE SCHOOL

• The parents are advised not to fix up appointments with the Doctor during school
hours.
• The school has no policy of holding retest/re-exam. Only in case of medical grounds
the child will be given exemption based on the average of other tests/ term end exams
when the medical certificate is produced.
• In case the learner represents the school in any of the competitions and is not able to
attend the term end exams a retest will be taken. For periodic tests an average of other
tests will be taken.
• In case of absence of one or two days, a justification of absence should be provided
to the class teacher via email by the parent.
• In case of absence for more than 2 days on the grounds of illness, a Medical
Certificate needs to be submitted along with a written application by the parent on the
day of rejoining.
• All students are expected to attend school on the opening day immediately following
the vacations. Absence on the day of reopening of the school will attract strict
disciplinary action.
• School does not allow long leaves.
• Students suff ering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of
quarantine before returning to school.

D) MEDICAL ATTENTION
Parents are informed in the event of serious illness or emergencies and may be requested
to come to school to take their child home, if necessary. This requires the parent to provide
emergency contact name and phone number accurately for the school to reach the
parents. Further it is also necessary that these details be updated immediately whenever
there is a change.
All precautions are taken to protect the children from accidents when they are in the
school or while playing. However, in the event of any mishap immediate first aid will be
administered and the learner involved will be sent to Hospital for treatment if necessary.
Hospital bills if any should be paid by the Parent or Guardian.
E) ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICINE
If a child requires any medicine to be administered during school hours, please send a
letter/ note in writing.
No verbal request will be considered.
F) BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
Learners of Pre-primary and Grades I to V can wear casual/party clothes to school on
their birthday. Higher graders will come in school uniform.
Learner can bring a sapling as a token oflove or can donate a book to the school library or
distribute stationary (max) worth Rs. 25/- only, to their classmates. Distribution of
toys/sweets/chocolates are not allowed.
G) SCHOOL FEES
The school fees for the new Academic year will be informed to the parents through a Fee
Circular before the due date of payment.
Parents are requested to make fee payments as per the Fee circular shared by the school.
Payment of fees is the responsibility of the parents; the school is not under obligation to
send any reminders and intimation to this effect.
• Fees once paid is non-transferable/ non adjustable / non refundable under any
circumstances.
• School fees is payable in one go or through interest free EMis as laid down in the Fee
circular.
• The school reserves the right to revise/ amend the fees structure.

FEE DEFAULT:
• A fine of Rs. 500 /- will be charged if a cheque is dishonored.
• Report card will not be issued until all dues are cleared.
• The learner may be re-admitted only at the discretion of the management and on
availability of seats.

H) WITHDRAWAL & DISMISSAL


• Application for School Leaving Certificate should be submitted one month before the
end of the Term/ Academic Year i.e. On or before 31st March. Kindly read this with the
Withdrawal Policy.
• The following procedure should be followed for the withdrawal of the learner from the
school:
• Submit a written application addressed to the Principal to apply for the Leaving
Certificate (LC)/ Transfer Certificate (TC).
• Parents need to fill the school exit form and attend an exit interview.
• LC / TC will be issued after 07 days of the exit interview only after:

• In case a duplicate certificate is required, Parents/ Guardians will need to submit a written
application stating the reason for the request and mention the status of the original
certificate.
• Parents/ Guardians are required to make an affidavit before a stipendiary Magistrate and
attach the same with the application.

refund. The School reserves the right to modify and amend refund policies at anytime.
• After commencement of the academic year, whether a learner joins classes or not,
and/or withdraws admission or leaves the school before the end of that academic term
for any reasons whatsoever, under no circumstances will the Academic Fees and other
charges/ fees paid for ancillary services (transport/cafeteria etc.) to the school be
refunded.
• The LC/TC will not be issued unless all the dues are cleared.
• All withdrawal and refund requests must be submitted by the parents in writing
addressed to the Principal, in person. The Principal shall acknowledge the receipt of the
same. Telephone or verbal messages to teachers/ staff are NOT acceptable.
• No interest is paid on refund of any fees.
