Convert a jpeg picture to bmp format.


1. Click on the File menu

2. Place your mouse pointer on Import and then select Import to stage option by clicking

3. Import a JPEG image by double clicking on it.

4. Next, let’s convert the image from JPEG to BMP format.

5. Click on the File menu and then place you mouse pointer on Export option

6. Double click on Export Image

7. Specify a name for the image.

8. Click on the down arrow of the Save as type drop down list box.

9. Select Bitmap format option from the list.

10. Finally click on the save button.

11. The moment you click on the save button, Export Bitmap dialog box will appear. You can
change the height and width of the image by specifying values in the appropriate field.
Finally click on the OK button.

1. Convert BMP to JPEG


1. Import the New.bmp file.
2. File  Import  Import to stage

3. Now Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+R keys simultaneously on your keyboard.

4. Specify a name for the file in “File name: ” text box.

5. Click on the drop down arrow of the “ Save as type : ” drop down list box
6. Select JPEG format from the list.
7. Finally click on the Save button.
8. Similarly you can convert the BMP file into GIF format.

9. Select GIF format from the drop down list while saving the document.

3. Create text Animation Using Flash


1. Type “Welcome” in Layer 1 as shown in the figure.

2. Select the Word “Welcome” by clicking on it.

3. Press Ctrl+B keys simultaneously to break the Text.

4. Click on Modify menu.

5. Select Distribute to Layers from the drop down menu.

6. The Word “Welcome” has been separated in seven different layers.

7. Select the frames with the use of mouse as shown in the figure.

9. Place the Word “Welcome” in the middle of the screen.

10. Select all the frames as shown in the figure.

11. Right click on the selected frames and then select Create Motion Tween

14. Extend the key frames of each layer to frame no.35 by pressing F5.

4. Create a blinking text.


1. Type “Good Day” in Layer 1 as shown in the figure. Choose Red color for the text

2. Press F6 key to insert a key frame at frame 10. Choose Yellow color for the text

3. Press F6 key to insert a key frame at frame 20. Choose blue color for the text

4. Insert a key frame at frame 21. Copy Frame 1 and paste it here

5. Convert Frame 1, 10, 20 and 21 into a Movie Clip Symbol.

6. Click on the Word “GOOD DAY”. Select Tint from the Color Dropdown list box. Do
the same procedure for other frames.

7. Create Motion Tween between frame 1 and 10 and frame 10 and 20 on the timeline.

8. Press Ctrl+Enter to view the animation

5. Create a text with Glowing effect


1. Type “Hand Writing” in Layer 1.
2. Press F6 key to insert a key frame at frame 10 and 20 to Insert Keyframe. Convert the
text into Movie clip symbol. Add Motion tween in between frames
3. In frame 1 select Filter tab from Properties

4. Click on and select Glow from the menu shown in fig

5. Select Knockout as shown in fig

7. Go to Frame 10 and select tint from color and do as in fig

6. Create masking in flash


1. Open a new file. Go to File >New. A Screen called New Document will appear.
Select Flash Document and click on OK. Go to Modify>Document

2. Give file size of the image.

3. Select File>Import to Library from the Menu Bar.

4. A Screen named Import To Library will open. Choose the file name and click on
Open.

5. The image will be in the library. Drag the picture from the Library panel to the Stage

6. Create a new layer

7. Hide Layer 1 by clicking on it

8. Now we get Layer 2. In this Layer draw a circle.

9. Convert it into a movie clip symbol

10. Press F6 at frame 15 to insert a Key frame. Right click on the circle and select Free
Transform. Resize the circle as in fig

11. Copy frame 1 and paste it on frame 30

12. Select Motion tween from properties for Frame 1 and 15.Right click on Layer 2 and
select mask.

13. Unhide Layer 1 and press f6 at frame 15 and 30.

14. Now press the Ctrl+Enter keys to execute it.

7. Create a shape change animation.


1. Draw a circle in Frame 1 and select Blue color to fill it

2. Press f6 at frame 10 to insert a key frame. Right click on the image and select Free
transform. Resize the image and select Red color to fill it as in fig

3. Copy Frame 1 and paste it at Frame 20. Select Green color to fill it

4. Select Shape tween as shown in fig for frame 1 and 10

5. Now press the Ctrl+Enter keys to execute it.

8. Create a fade in fade out effect

1. Open a new file. Go to File >New. A Screen called New Document will appear.
Select Flash Document and click on OK. Go to Modify>Document

2. Give file size of the image.

3. Select File>Import to Library from the Menu Bar.

4. A Screen named Import To Library will open. Choose the file name and click on
Open.

5. The image will be in the library. Drag the picture from the Library panel to the Stage.
Select the picture by clicking on it.

6. Go to Modify>Convert To Symbol from the Menu Bar.


7. Click on your Movie Clip. Press f6 at frame 15 to insert a key frame. Select Create
Motion Tween for frame 1 and 15.
8. Click on Frame 1. Here we will give the fade in effect. Select the picture by clicking
on it. Go to Properties in the panel below the Stage. Go to Color>Alpha give 0% to
it. The picture has faded in. Copy Frame 1 and paste on Frame 30.

9. Click on Frame 15. Here we will give the fade out effect. Select the picture by
clicking on it. Go to Properties in the panel below the Stage. Go to Color>Alpha give
100% to it. The picture has faded out.

10. Now press the Ctrl+Enter keys to execute it.

9. How to insert table in Dream weaver


1. Start Dreamweaver.
2. On the "File" menu, click on "New". This will open up a new, blank web page for you
to work on.

3. Click on the "Insert" menu. Select the "table option." The "Insert table" dialog box,
which looks like this, will open up.

Create an invisible table with three columns and three rows. The table will be invisible in
a browser (like Explorer or Netscape) but will be outlined on the screen in Dreamweaver
so that you can see it while you are working on your page.

4. When you have filled out the "Insert table" box, click OK. The table will be inserted
on the page and will look something like this (though your window will probably be
larger):

5. Move the borders of the columns left and right respectively to make them serve as
margins. It will look like this.

6. Now you can enter text in the center column. Entering text in the middle cell may
look something like this:

7. Click on the "File" menu. Select "Save as". Dreamweaver automatically save your
page as a HTML document.
8. Click on the "File" menu and go down to the "Preview in browser" option. Click on
"iexplore." Your page will now be opened up in a browser window (MS Explorer).

10. How to create an internal link in Dream weaver.


1. On the "File" menu, click on "New". This will open up a new, blank web page for you
to work on.

2. Click on the small folder next to the Link field in the Properties Inspector

3. Browse through the files, and select the page.

4. Click on the folder next to Link field and select the page to link.

5. Save your document and test your link by opening a web browser, go to File/Open,
and click on Browse to find the file you just created in Dreamweaver.
