PROBLEM
Difficulties in priming or purging air from the fuel system can be experienced during servicing,
installation, fuel system repair or if the unit runs out of fuel.
The unit has no way of running the fuel lift pump prior to cranking the engine and using the crank
cycle to prime the fuel system may reduce battery and starter motor life.
This switch assembly is a field permanent containment action to provide fuel-priming capability to
units fitted with Rental and 6000 panels already in the field.
Please refer to Technical Information Bulletin TIB 0014 for units fitted with the 1001 control panels.
Please refer to Technical Information Bulletin TIB 0015 for units fitted with the Powerwizard control
panel.
