GUIDELINES FOR HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
You may use the pages of your old notebooks or any other loose sheets of paper for
doing the homework. You may submit the homework in a handmade folder or a bag
made with old newspapers. Revise the syllabus for all the subjects done till the month
of May.
Here are a few tips for you to follow:
Play indoor games like Scrabble, Chess, Atlas, Word Building, etc. and avoid
going out to play in direct sunlight.
Drink a lot of water. Rejuvenate yourself by eating fresh and juicy fruits like
watermelon, muskmelon, mango, litchi, cucumber, salads, etc.
Make a workstation for yourself.
Use the four magic words ‘Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Sorry’ in your daily
conversations and see the difference.
Help your parents with simple household chores like dusting, laying the dinner
table and so on.
Keep your room clean and well organized.
Practise Yoga or exercise every day.
Say your prayers every day in the morning and at night before going to bed.
Try to converse in English at home.

Children! Now is the time when your parents need more helping hands at home. So
learn to make/do the following things at home:
make lemonade
fold the washed clothes (laundry)
wash the dishes/ utensils used by you
serve water to everyone and refill the bottles
keep things in place after using
dust your house by carefully wiping everything and keeping them back in place
mop the floor
water the plants carefully and avoid over watering
make your bed before going to sleep and after waking up
put your books back in place after studying
dispose off biodegradable and non-biodegradable things separately

Use an old notebook and daily write about any good deed you did on that particular
day and also how you felt after doing it. Label it as 'My Conversations with God'. You
can also represent your feelings with emojis.

One day, a group of frogs decided to have a race. The first frog to get to the top
of a high tower would win. Many people came to watch the race. When the race
began, all the people started to say that the frogs would not get to the top. "Stop
running! You'll never reach the top", they said to every frog.
Soon, the frogs started feeling tired. One by one, they stopped running, only one
frog did not stop. Everyone said to her, “Stop running, you'll never get to the
top!” But, she kept running and reached the top.
When the other frogs went to ask her how she completed such a difficult race,
they found out that she could not hear. She was deaf. The other frogs could not
reach the top because they listened to the people who said that it was
impossible to finish the race.

lost in the jungle. He plays tricks on the people who try to kill animals. If you try
to kill a deer, he might turn you into a deer. He can also make different sounds to
scare and confuse people.
