Critically evaluate the industry sector and see what sort of challenges they have. Identify the trends and key drivers of the macro environment using PESTEL. Analyze the significant impacts of these trends on the micro environment using Porters 6 forces. (All these trends might not have a significant impact on the micro environment.) Out of this analysis, identify the critical uncertainties. From that we can identify the opportunities and threats the company has. Based on these uncertainties we can also go for scenario planning. (OPTIONAL) Analyze whether the current company strategy is competitive enough to face the challenges by doing an internal analysis. Analyze the core competencies using VRIO/VRIN/RBV to find out what competency will bring them a sustainable competitive advantage. Find the strengths and weaknesses from the above analysis, and explicate the opportunities and challenges that the company has from the external environment. All in-text citation has to be given on en-text citations as well. Ideally 12-16 slides. 30% notes on slides and the rest on speaker notes. Choose font and size of your choice. Don’t overcrowd the slides. Do not use animations, but can use images, colors, graphs and charts. Save the presentation as PPT and not PPTX.
