Driver Assignment via Dashboard

All driver assignment tasks currently handled through EZDine will now be handled
through the Admin dashboard

Assigning a Driver
Log in to Admin, to the Orders tab, and select “Dashboard (New)”.
When a delivery order come in the dashboard, there’s a “Assign Driver” field. Click this to initiate the driver
assignment process.

A list of IC Drivers will display, and pressing the “+” icon will display the estimated cost and delivery time for
third party drivers. Select a driver and click Assign Driver

The driver is now assigned. View the assignee and time of assignment in the dashboard

Driver Out/Driver In
Driver Out/Driver In should be indicated primarily through the Driver App. In the cases that the Driver App
cannot be used, utilize the dashboard
The driver should click the button under “Out”.

Driver Out time is displayed on the dashboard

Repeat this process when the delivery is completed

Click the “Back” button under the actions column to indicate that the driver has returned to the store

The time that the driver returns is recorded on the dashboard

Cancelations/Redeliveries/Reassignment
If an order needs to be canceled, redelivered, or a driver needs to be reassigned, look for the “x” icon under
the Actions column. Pressing this will cancel the driver assignment and allow you to reassign a new driver.

Once a new driver is assigned, the previous assignee details will be saved as an order note (driver name,
driver out time, driver in time)
