Part 1

What did you like to do the most when you

were in primary school? Talk about your
primary school.
To be honest, it’s a long time ago, and my memory about this period is a little bit. There is a
memory I remember very clearly of talking a lot with my classmates in class, which is the
common reason the students were scolded by my teacher. Additionally, when I was in grade 3, I
transferred to a new school in a big city, Binh Duong. I cry so much because I must study in
school all day without seeing my parents.

How did you go to your primary school?

Normally, when I was in primary school, my mother took me to school by motorbike at 6 a.m on
a daily basis and my dad took me home after school. If my parents are busy with their work, I
will walk home.

How do you like your primary school?

Frankly, when I was young, I wasn’t drowning in deadlines; I didn’t have a hectic schedule. At
that time, I had the activities a blast with my friends, such as hopscotch (haps kapch) and playing
together in the school playground.

What did you do in your leisure time in your primary school?

COST: In my education major not only is the tuition fee free, but we also receive
state subsidies. (súp si dis)

TIME

Be drowning in something: ngập đầu trong cái gì đó.

Have a hetic schedule: lịch trình bận rộn.

My current major I choose to either follow my parents' direction or study according to the trend.

TEACHING MATH

Second years student

I have a blast (feel streessed) whenever I get to solve math problems.

I think the difficulty of education is dealing with people such as parents's students.

Although, after graduation I have a low salary, teaching other people is my passion.

Part 2

I would like to talk about a person who I would like to work with. She is Yen Anh. The first time
I met her when I was in high school, particularly she was in my homeroom in grade 10.

At first, the impression is that she is younger than her age, and she has a twinkle in her eye. She
was around 1.6 meters with dark hair and grown eyes. Looking from a far distance, I speculated
(‘spe ciu lay tit) she was the type of person who is bad-tempered when teaching, but after
attending many of her classes, she had a great sense of humor and created a comfortable
atmosphere for students when studying. Moreover, our teacher-student relationship is close.
She always makes me feel heard and gives me advice whenever I talk about the difficulties I
face. My current major of study at the university is inspired by her. Additionally, although she is
a math teacher, her English is very admirable. (‘at mơ rơ bồ)
I think of Yen Anh highly, not only for her remarkable intelligence (in ‘tơ rơ gens) but also for
her ability to draw people to work with her. Personally, I believe she is a great role model
because of the positive influence she has on other people. Hopefully, in the future, we will be
colleagues (khó less) and have fun together.
