INTRODUCTION

AND THEY ARE USED IN A WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS FROM INDUSTRIAL
MANUFACTURING TO HEALTHCARE.
TYPES OF ROBOTICS

• INDUSTRIAL ROBOTICS:-USED IN MANUFACTURING FOR TASKS LIKE ASSEMBLY, WELDING,


AND PAINTING. COMMON TYPES INCLUDE ARTICULATED ROBOTS, SCARA ROBOTS, AND
GANTRY ROBOTS
• SERVICE ROBOTICS:-ASSIST HUMANS IN NON-INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS. EXAMPLES
INCLUDE DOMESTIC ROBOTS (E.G., VACUUM CLEANERS), MEDICAL ROBOTS (E.G., SURGICAL
ASSISTANTS), AND ENTERTAINMENT ROBOTS.
