Strive Equity Partners – Summer 2024 Private Equity Analyst Program (Unpaid Internship)

About Strive
Strive Equity Partners (www.striveep.com) is looking to add Summer Private Equity Analysts to its team. Strive is
a Toronto-based private equity firm that invests as an independent sponsor on a deal-by-deal basis. Strive was

of existing boundaries.

Avneet Multani (Schulich BBA '16, LinkedIn), Founder & Partner at Strive, brings over 8 years of experience in
private equity and investment banking across the U.S. and Canada. The Private Equity Analysts will work alongside
Avneet to assist in all aspects of private equity investing: sourcing, deal diligence, research, modeling, data
analysis, deal execution tasks, portfolio management and thesis building.

Private Equity Analyst Role


This will be a remote, part-time role with a minimum commitment of 20 hours a week (i.e., 4-hours per day x 5
weekdays) which will be flexible.

Key responsibilities will include:


▪ Researching / analyzing target companies utilizing key search criteria, developing an accurate list for
outreach
▪ Conducting market / industry research for live deals and thesis development
▪ Analyzing company materials and company / industry data for due diligence purposes
▪ Ad hoc analyses (including financial statement analysis, modeling) for live deals

While the position is unpaid, it includes strong flexibility, educational and networking benefits:
▪ Fully remote, with flexible working hour blocks
▪ Onboarding session to discuss private equity and Strive Equity Partners’ strategy
▪ Educational / training session(s) encompassing private equity investing, investment banking, recruiting
and technical concepts
▪ Avneet will help with 1-on-1 sessions regarding recruiting, networking (including personal connections),
mock interviews and resume review, as needed

Desired Qualifications
▪ Completed first or second year (preferred) of an undergraduate degree (as of May 2024)
▪ Strong work ethic with a tendency to produce high work quality
▪ Strong research and analytical abilities
▪ “Get it done” mentality, meets deadlines, eager to learn
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
▪ Deep interest in pursuing a career in finance (investment banking, private equity)
▪ Coding / programming skills and experience with data scraping considered an asset

The 13-week internship will start May 6, 2024 and end on August 2, 2024.
