Chapter 1: Introduction

The importance of digital marketing and sales has increased significantly in today's quickly
changing business environment, influencing how businesses communicate with their clients
and generate income. This internship report captures a transformative experience where
academic insights smoothly combined with the practical application of knowledge and real-
world opportunities and difficulties. The research examines sales and digital marketing, two
separate yet related aspects of contemporary business.

The paper begins by examining the nature of labour in the field of sales, including the complex
procedures and techniques used to locate prospects, engage potential customers, negotiate
terms, and eventually seal agreements. The range of these obligations goes beyond simple
transactional exchanges and includes developing enduring connections that go beyond one-off
purchases and promote brand affinity. The intern successfully managed the fine line between
effective communication, product expertise, and a customer-centric strategy as a salesperson,
upholding the core principles of contemporary salesmanship.

The research travels through the realm of digital marketing, a field that has transformed how
organizations interact and connect with their consumers, in parallel with the sales experience.
An in-depth awareness of the complex digital marketing landscape is provided through the
intern's experiences in comprehending it, developing strategies, producing optimal content,
administering social media platforms, and utilizing data analytics to improve methods. These
examples demonstrate how theoretical ideas were easily applied in real-world situations, with
observable effects.

The adventure takes place against the backdrop of a vibrant workplace where efficiency meets
flexibility. With the freedom to work whenever they wanted, as an intern I worked on a variety
of projects, including blogs and posters on topics including how artificial intelligence is
affecting digital marketing and how to protect privacy in the modern age. This adaptability
demonstrates the organization's dedication to cultivating comprehensive skill sets and
creativity.

The paper also explores the interaction between theoretical understanding and real-world
application, showing how academic ideas appeared in certain contexts. My experiences

1
highlight the value of bridging the theory-practice gap, from executing SEO strategy and social
media campaigns to evaluating user behaviour and improving user experiences. This alignment
supports the usefulness of academic knowledge in solving problems in the actual world.

My contributions to the expansion of the company are also highlighted in the report. I actively
participated in strengthening the company's online presence and engaging the target audience
by creating high-quality content, maintaining social media platforms, enhancing SEO, and
implementing successful email marketing campaigns. These contributions also demonstrated
collaborative cooperation, creative thinking, and a dedication to remaining current with
business trends.

1.1 Industry Overview

1.1.1 Global Scenario

The marketing environment has undergone a dramatic change in a time of unmatched
technology growth and digital transformation. A pillar of contemporary business tactics, digital
marketing has transformed how companies interact with their target markets, advertise their
goods and services, and ultimately spur development. This section of the internship report
offers a thorough analysis of the worldwide landscape of digital marketing, covering the major
developments, obstacles, and possibilities that have shaped its development.

1) Evolution and Digital Dominance: The exponential increase in internet users and the
widespread usage of smartphones across the world are both responsible for the
emergence of digital marketing. According to the most recent statistics, there are over
4.9 billion active internet users worldwide, who spend 145 minutes each day on social
networking sites. Consumer behaviour has changed as a result of the dominance of
digital platforms, forcing firms to reevaluate their marketing strategy and shift from
conventional channels to digital platforms.

2) Pervasiveness of Social Media: Digital marketing operations now mostly take place
on social media sites. Due to the massive user bases of social media sites like Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, companies can target very specific
demographics and tailor their messaging to them. Social media's immediate nature
makes it easier for in-the-moment conversations, brand engagement, and viral
marketing initiatives.

3) Search Engine Power: A crucial component of digital marketing continues to be

played by search engines, especially Google. Using Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, businesses may increase their
online exposure, drive organic traffic, and interact with potential consumers at different
points in the buying cycle.

4) Content Reigns Supreme: Search engines, particularly Google, continue to play a

significant role in digital marketing. Businesses may boost their online exposure,
generate organic traffic, and engage with potential customers at various stages of the

3
purchasing cycle by utilizing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine
Optimization (SEO) tactics.

5) Data-Driven Decision Making: The generation of vast amounts of data in the digital
sphere provides priceless insights into customer preferences and behaviour. Businesses
can track and evaluate key performance indicators, fine-tune tactics, and make data-
driven choices to maximize marketing efforts thanks to analytics tools and algorithms.

6) Personalization and Customer Experience: Businesses may now create

individualized experiences that are catered to customer preferences thanks to digital
marketing. Brands are able to generate memorable experiences with customers through
data analysis, AI-powered suggestions, and focused advertising.

7) E-Commerce Transformation: Digital marketing tactics have propelled the

expansion of e-commerce. The way customers purchase online has changed as a result
of social commerce, Augmented Reality (AR) shopping experiences, and frictionless
payment channels, underscoring the importance of businesses having a strong online
presence.

8) Challenges and Considerations: Although there is no denying the advantages of

digital marketing, there are still some difficulties. Significant obstacles include privacy
issues, ad fatigue, algorithm modifications, and the requirement for ongoing technology
development. Additionally, the digital divide, which keeps some groups of people from
participating in digital life, poses issues with accessibility and ethics.

9) Opportunities on the Horizon: Digital marketing has a bright future ahead of it.
Predictive analytics, chatbots, and automation are made possible by the combination of
AI and Machine Learning, improving the personalization of experiences. Emerging
channels for involvement include voice search optimization, video marketing, and the
Internet of Things (IoT). Additionally, the focus on ethics and sustainability opens up
opportunities for responsible and goal-driven marketing.

4
1.1.2 Indian Scenario

India is a shining example of a country that has embraced digital transformation with amazing
zeal as the digital revolution has spread over the global landscape. In this portion of the
internship report, we examine the industry overview of digital marketing in India, focusing on
its explosive development, particular difficulties, and bright future.

1) Explosive Growth in Internet Penetration: A dramatic increase in Internet usage has

fueled India's digital marketing industry. India has one of the largest Internet user
populations in the world with over 624 million users and growing. Businesses have a
rare chance to interact with a wide-ranging audience because to their large internet
presence.

2) Mobile Revolution and Social Media Boom: The way Indians use the internet has
been completely transformed by the mass adoption of smartphones. Social media sites
like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube have ingrained themselves into
daily life. Innovative marketing techniques have emerged as a result of this mobile-
centric digital culture, including influencer partnerships, short-form video content, and
interactive campaigns.

3) Dynamic E-Commerce Landscape: Digital marketing activities have sparked a

meteoric rise in the e-commerce business in India. Online marketplaces, in-house e-
commerce platforms, and direct-to-consumer firms have all used digital channels to
connect with customers, develop individualized shopping journeys, and profit from the
ease of online transactions.

4) Vernacular Content and Regional Diversity: Due to the linguistic and cultural
variety of India, vernacular material must be produced in order to successfully reach
viewers in their chosen tongues. Regional language and regional customs-relevant
digital marketing efforts have been shown to be quite effective at capturing viewers
throughout the nation.

5
5) Government Initiatives: Businesses may now take advantage of digital marketing
thanks to the Indian government's push for digitization, which includes programs like
Make in India and Digital India. These initiatives have improved connection as well as

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is crucial. The importance of local search
optimization is especially important given the popularity of location-based searches.
Businesses may increase their online presence and interact with potential clients in
certain geographic areas by utilizing SEO tactics efficiently.

become a major influence. Video storytelling, advertising, and product demonstrations
have all benefited from the rise of video-sharing websites. Brands that use visual
storytelling well may establish enduring relationships with consumers.

gives both possibilities and difficulties. Businesses must be diligent in protecting user
data and maintaining compliance with changing legal frameworks due to data privacy
concerns, especially in the aftermath of measures like the Personal Data Protection Bill.

9) Opportunities for Small Businesses: Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in

India now have an even playing field thanks to digital marketing. SME's can compete
with bigger competitors and broaden their market reach thanks to cost-efficient digital
techniques including social media advertising, search engine marketing, and content
marketing.

2) NABC Model: The Stanford Research Institute developed the NABC model as a
commercial tool. Although it was first created for making persuasive pitch
presentations, it may also be used to illustrate the vision during the initial stages of
business development. The four pillars of a value proposition are Need, Approach,
Benefits, and Competition, according to the NABC model. The initial building element
of the model, Need, outlines the unique market opportunity as well as what the buyers
and users desire and need. To support the required investment and development time,
the market must be sufficiently large. The company's response to the particular client
request is represented by the following section, called Approach. This section may
cover timeframe, deliverables, manpower, cost, and market positioning. The company's
strategy for meeting customer demands is described in the third section, Benefits, for
both users and customers. These advantages could include minimal expenses, excellent
performance, or rapid reaction. These advantages must not only be distinct from those
of the rivals but also significantly superior in order to be successful. The fourth and
final component, "Competition," provides an explanation of why your company's

9

rivalry that exists in that market to be able to respond to this issue.

3) Mission and Vision of the company: Our goal at Woxen Digital is to provide clients

the 1970s, is commonly applied in strategic planning. Strengths, Weaknesses,
Opportunities, and Threats, or SWOT for short, is a systematic planning process that

2.1 Objectives of the Internship Study

Description of the nature of the work:

My work as a sales personnel revolved around the following works being conducted during a

media, I was able to find potential leads. This required looking into and comprehending
the demands of the target market.
b) Customer engagement: By showing them a few elements of the digital product, you
were able to engage the prospects. I also described to them how the product relieves
their problems and facilitates their access to particular items.
c) Negotiating terms: I bargained with prospective customers to alleviate their worries
or objections and came to mutually advantageous agreements.
d) Closing deals: Discussions on price and the presentation of special offers were made
in an effort to close the purchase.
e) Follow up: I kept in touch with the leads and regular clients to preserve ties and offer
prompt service.

Expectations from the assigned work:

The first week of work required constant engagement in prospect identification,
communication with them through a variety of media, presentation of solutions, negotiating
conditions, and eventually transaction completion.

All of these tasks needed a blend of communication abilities, product expertise,

perseverance, and a customer-focused mentality that helped me to accomplish goals and
build enduring connections throughout my career.

I have worked on other tasks, such as writing two blogs and making two posters, in addition to
my duties in sales. The blogs address issues like "Impact of ChatGPT on Digital Marketing"
and "Protecting Privacy in the Age of Digital Marketing". In preparation for another
assignment, I have also increased my understanding of digital marketing technologies. Because
of my flexible schedule, I can increase my productivity and help my organization succeed.

The Impact of ChatGPT on Digital Marketing
-By Subhodeep Roy Chowdhury

Introduction:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) breakthroughs have had a
significant impact on digital marketing in recent years. The creation of ChatGPT, a potent
language model capable of having conversations that seem realistic and human-like, is one
notable advancement in this area. This blog will examine ChatGPT's effects on digital
marketing and how they have transformed content development, personalisation, and consumer
interactions.

Enhanced Customer Interactions:

By enabling companies to provide their consumers tailored and interesting dialogues, ChatGPT
has changed customer relations. ChatGPT can manage a variety of consumer concerns and
offer immediate help thanks to its capacity to comprehend and react to natural language queries.
By providing prompt and correct replies, this technology has dramatically increased customer
satisfaction by removing the need for consumers to wait for human support.

Personalization and Targeting:

For effective consumer engagement in digital marketing, customised message and targeting are
essential. By examining customer data and offering insightful data on consumer preferences,
behaviours, and purchase trends, ChatGPT helps marketers. Marketers may develop targeted
marketing strategies that connect with certain clients more deeply by utilizing this data.

15
Because ChatGPT can adapt content, product recommendations, and offers depending on each
customer's unique requirements and interests, greater conversion rates and increased customer
loyalty are the result.

Efficient Content Creation:

Digital marketing's foundational component of content production has also been profoundly
influenced by ChatGPT. ChatGPT allows marketers to create interesting content quickly and
easily for blogs, social media, and email campaigns. The model may generate catchy headlines,
interesting openings, and pertinent insights, saving marketers a lot of time and work.
Additionally, ChatGPT may recommend subjects for future content, make improvements to
current material, and help maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.

16
Protecting Your Privacy in the Age of Digital Marketing
-By Subhodeep Roy Chowdhury

Introduction:
Consumers are being exposed to targeted advertising and data collecting tactics more often as
a result of the extensive use of digital marketing techniques. Digital marketing provides tailored
experiences but also brings up issues with data security and privacy. In this blog post, we'll go
through crucial measures that customers may take to safeguard their privacy in the era of digital
marketing and keep their personal data safe.

Understand Data Collection Practices:

Knowing all there is to know about the collection, storage, and use of your data is the first step
in preserving your privacy. Read the terms of service and privacy policies offered by the
platforms and websites you use. Look for information on the types of data that are gathered,
how they are kept, and whether they are shared with outside parties. You may decide whether
to provide your personal information in an educated manner by being aware of the data
gathering procedures.

Opt-Out of Tracking and Personalized Ads:

To offer tailored adverts, the majority of digital marketing relies on monitoring technology and
cookies. You may, however, choose not to participate in such tracking. Investigate the privacy
choices on your platforms and websites to see if there are any settings that will prevent tailored
adverts or restrict tracking. You can also utilize privacy-focused browsers that disable trackers
and stop data gathering, install browser extensions, or both.

17
Use Strong Passwords and Enable Two-Factor Authentication:
It takes more than just controlling your online behaviour to protect your personal information.
By creating strong, one-of-a-kind passwords for each of your online accounts, you can increase
your digital security. To manage and save your passwords safely, take into consideration
utilizing a password manager. Enable two-factor authentication wherever it is possible to do so
since it adds an extra degree of protection by demanding a second step of verification before
accessing your accounts.

Be Cautious with Sharing Personal Information:

When posting personal information online, especially on social networking sites, use caution.
Consider modifying your privacy settings to limit access to your personal data and be careful
what you disclose publicly. Unless it is absolutely required for the transaction or service you
are using, avoid entering unnecessary personal information on forms or websites.

Regularly Update and Secure Your Devices:

Keep the most recent software patches and security updates installed on all of your devices,
including computers, tablets, and mobile phones. These updates frequently include significant
security upgrades that guard against vulnerabilities. Install trustworthy antivirus and anti-
malware programs as well to protect your devices from any attacks.

2.2 Methodology
As a sales representative, my work is loaded with a variety of tasks that are designed to increase
sales and forge bonds with both current and new clients. An fuller description of each of the
duties is provided below:

a) Identifying prospects: Finding potential prospects who could profit from my product
or service is one of your main duties. This entails reaching out to potential clients
through many means, including cold phoning and social networking. I can successfully
pinpoint potential customers who are more likely to be interested in what I have to offer
via study and a grasp of the demands of the target market.

b) Customer engagement: The next stage is to interact with prospects once I have
identified them. This entails displaying the capabilities and advantages of my digital
product, highlighting how it may ease their problems and improve their lives. I may
pique curiosity and establish a relationship with potential clients by clearly conveying
the value offer.

c) Negotiating terms: I'll run against potential customers' objections or worries during
the sales process. Addressing these issues and negotiating win-win agreements is my
responsibility. Problem-solving abilities, active listening, and empathy are necessary
for this. I can establish common ground and come to a decision that is acceptable to all
sides if I have a thorough grasp of the customer's demands and interests.

d) Closing deals: My sales efforts are ultimately aimed at closing agreements. To entice
the prospect to buy, this entails completing the specifics, talking about price
possibilities, and giving special offers or incentives. My capacity to articulate the value
clearly and get through any lingering concerns is essential to closing the sale.

e) Follow-up: After a contract is closed, my work isn't done. Maintaining ties and giving
clients continuous help need follow-up. This include keeping in touch with them,
attending to any issues that arise after a purchase, and providing help as required.
Consistently following up with customers helps to create loyalty and can result in repeat
business and referrals.

practices to use, I helped raise the organization's website's position in search results.

research, meta tag optimization, and collaboration with the content team, which
enhanced organic traffic.

4. Email Marketing Campaigns: I was very important in the planning and carrying out
of email marketing initiatives. I created targeted content, segregated the email lists,
and tracked campaign effectiveness. We observed an improvement in email open and
click-through rates as a consequence, which helped us raise engagement and
conversion rates.

22
making data-driven decisions to enhance next campaigns by creating thorough reports
with useful insights.

1. Content Relevance and Engagement: One of the main conclusions from the
internship was that engaging the target audience requires relevant material. Higher
engagement rates were attained by posts and ads that were customized to particular
consumer personas and addressed their pain concerns. Therefore, it is crucial to
regularly do audience research in order to comprehend their preferences and provide
content that appeals to them.

2. Social Media Platform Effectiveness: In terms of reach and engagement, I discovered

that certain social media sites performed better than others. For example, B2B
marketing initiatives on Instagram and LinkedIn were quite successful, although B2C
advertising on Facebook and Twitter were more effective. On the basis of this
conclusion, it is advised to strategically allocate resources and concentrate on platforms
that correspond with the target audience.

3. Email Marketing Personalization: Email marketing initiatives that were personalized

performed far better than generic ones. Higher open and click-through rates were
achieved by utilizing dynamic content, customised subject lines, and segmented lists.
Due to this, it is essential to spend money on email marketing automation solutions and
segment subscriber lists according to user preferences and behaviour.

4. SEO Impact on Organic Traffic: The amount of organic website traffic increased
when search engine optimization was improved. The website's position on search
engine results pages (SERPs) was raised by focusing on important keywords,
improving meta tags, and consistently releasing high-quality material, which enhanced
organic traffic and exposure.

5. Conversion Rate Optimization Opportunities: Areas for possible conversion rate

enhancement were identified by research of website user behaviour. We may further
boost conversion rates by locating and eliminating bottlenecks in the conversion funnel,
such as reducing website load times, simplifying checkout procedures, and enhancing
call-to-action buttons.

Chapter 5: Recommendations

1. Create an Editorial Calendar: It is advised to develop an editorial schedule in order

to maintain a consistent and well-organized content strategy. The themes, publishing
dates, and platforms where the information will be delivered should all be listed on this
calendar. We can maintain a consistent supply of interesting and pertinent information
by preparing content in advance.

2. Invest in Influencer Marketing: It is advised to invest in influencer marketing

initiatives based on the effectiveness of influencer partnerships throughout the
internship. Collaboration with relevant influencers may broaden brand awareness,
boost credibility, and boost sales.

3. Explore Video Content: Consumers continue to choose video content more and more.
It is advised to investigate video marketing strategies including producing product
tutorials, behind-the-scenes films, and client testimonials. Video material may aid in
grabbing the audience's attention and improving message delivery.

4. Optimize Mobile Experience: It is essential to optimize the website and marketing

campaigns for mobile users because the majority of internet users consume material
through mobile devices. This includes user-friendly mobile interfaces, quick loading
times, and responsive design.

5. Implement Retargeting Campaigns: Retargeting tactics should be used to re-engage

website visitors who were initially disinterested in converting. We may remind past
visitors about our goods or services and entice them to come back and finish their
transaction by displaying customized adverts to them.

6. Monitor and Analyze Competitors: Monitoring rivals' digital marketing tactics and
results on a regular basis may give us insightful information and keep us ahead of
market trends. We may improve our own methods and keep a competitive advantage
by recognizing effective techniques and weaknesses in their approach.

25
7. Leverage User-Generated Content: Customer evaluations, endorsements, and user-
submitted photographs are examples of user-generated content that may be an effective
marketing tool. Customers' experiences and material relating to the brand may be
shared, which helps increase the brand's reputation and authenticity.

8. Prioritize Data Privacy and Security: Prioritizing data privacy and security is
essential as we gather and examine client data for marketing objectives. Customer data
must be managed professionally and ethically, and compliance with data protection
laws such as the GDPR or CCPA should be assured.

Chapter 6: Conclusion

A Transformative Journey in Digital Marketing Internship

For me, the digital marketing internship has been nothing short of groundbreaking. I engaged
myself in the dynamic world of sales and marketing during my internship, navigating its
confusing byways and honing my skills in a dynamic digital environment. I've gained precious
knowledge, practical information, and a deeper grasp of the strategic complexity that supports
successful marketing activities as a result of this encounter.

My objectives were very clear from the start: to fully understand the intricate nature of digital
marketing, to immerse myself in real marketing scenarios, and to significantly contribute to the
growth of the firm. My approach to achieving these goals was engaging and useful, and it
introduced me to a wide range of marketing disciplines.

Finding prospects, talking with clients, negotiating terms, concluding deals, and forming
enduring relationships were the key duties of my position as a sales representative. For this
immersive experience, it took a delicate balancing act of communication prowess, product
expertise, and a true customer-focused philosophy. I mastered the art of converting prospects
into satisfied clients by doing more than simply selling a product—I also fixed customer issues
and enhanced client experiences.

I took advantage of possibilities outside of my responsibilities as a salesperson to extend my

horizons. I practiced the craft of content creation and dissemination by creating persuasive blog
posts and striking posters. Working on various projects allowed me to use my imagination, and
they also helped me better understand the world of digital marketing.

The strategy I employed during the internship effectively encapsulated effective digital
marketing practices. I started prospect identification since I was aware that a customized
approach would result in greater outcomes. My customer engagement strategies included
empathetic communication as a vital element that persuaded customers that our digital product
might be the solution to their concerns. Negotiating terms and completing deals needed a
difficult balancing act between persuasive skills and knowledge of each client's unique
expectations. The premise that sustaining solid client connections is crucial for long-term
company success was reiterated through routine follow-up.
27
Important insights were revealed by observations and analyses. Relevance and engagement of
the material have become crucial components in enthralling consumers, underscoring the need
of customized and targeted content. The efficiency of social media platforms varied widely,
underscoring the need of audience target platform alignment. Personalization in email
marketing has shown to be a powerful tool, demonstrating the value of adjusting messages to
cater to audience preferences. Through actual implementation, the value of SEO in increasing
organic traffic and the potential of conversion rate optimization were highlighted.

My contributions to the company were diverse and significant. Every effort made, from
creating engaging content to managing social media, improving SEO, and evaluating campaign
data, contributed to improving the organization's online engagement and presence.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams encouraged a sense of collective success,
showcasing the effectiveness of collaboration in attaining common objectives.

As I think back on this trip, I see how well theory and practice coincide. Real-world situations
gave vivid embodiment to the ideas I learnt in school. Throughout the internship, the science
of SEO, the complexities of content production, and the art of recognizing target audiences all
smoothly collided into practical solutions.

Theory – Practice match identified:
During my digital marketing internship, I got the chance to use the principles and expertise I
studied in a genuine marketing setting, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Here
are some instances of theory-practice matches I ran upon during my internship:

1. Application of Target Audience Analysis: I discovered the value of identifying and

comprehending the target audience via my homework. I spent my internship creating
buyer profiles and doing market research to learn more about the characteristics,
tastes, and behaviours of our target audience. This gave me the ability to develop
specialized marketing efforts that connected with the target market.

2. Implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Strategies: throughout the

internship, I was able to put the theoretical knowledge of SEO I had acquired
throughout my studies to use. To raise my website's organic search ranks, I focused
on improving the content, doing keyword research, and putting on-page SEO
strategies into practice. My understanding of the nuances of SEO and how it affects
website traffic and exposure has improved thanks to this practical experience.

3. Social Media Strategy and Execution: I explored social media marketing tactics
throughout my courses, such as content development, scheduling, and interaction. I
got the ability to design and carry out social media campaigns across a variety of
channels when I was an intern. I used my understanding of hashtag usage, audience
interaction, and content development to promote brand exposure and grow my social
media following.

4. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): During the internship, the CRO concepts I
had studied were put to the test. I worked with the team to determine the need for
improvement on the website and landing pages, ran A/B tests, and used analytics tools
to examine user behaviour. We were able to boost conversion rates and enhance user
experience by applying CRO tactics, such as improving call-to-action buttons and
streamlining the checkout procedure.

5. Email Marketing Campaigns: I had the chance to put the principles of email
marketing I had learnt in class to use during my internship. To offer tailored

information, I created engaging email campaigns, segmented the subscriber list, and
used automation technologies. I learned more about the efficacy of various email
marketing methods by examining open rates, click-through rates, and conversion
rates.

6. Performance Analysis and Reporting: I was able to use my analytical abilities

throughout the internship by assessing campaign results and producing reports. I
tracked important indicators, monitored website traffic, and assessed the effectiveness
of marketing campaigns using a variety of analytics tools. This gave me the
opportunity to offer practical insights and suggestions for improving next efforts
using data-driven research.

These theory-practice comparisons gave me a great chance to put the information I learned in
my academic studies to use in actual marketing situations. I developed a greater appreciation
for the usefulness of marketing strategies as well as the significance of modifying and
improving tactics in response to current data and feedback.
